Gigabyte Aorus M3 Review (brief, needs issues addressed)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 жов 2024
- Unfortunately Gigabyte didn't improve much from the XM300, and worse, the XM300 is actually better than the Aorus M3 in many ways.
I really hope they take this video as constructive criticism and improve either this mouse or really step up their game for the next one. The problems on the XM300 weren't too bad back then, but we have so many great quality mice now, if they really want to be competitive, they need to improve their quality. Cable, buttons, build, etc. A 3360 sensor might help too!

In case the video misleads... that software is REALLY small on screen, which is why I had trouble seeing what I was doing. Zoomed in to make the video.
Rocket Jump Ninja that might be a problem with your windows dpi... Are you using windows 10? What size monitor are you using?
Note: Windows dpi isn't the same thing as the dpi on your mouse. Dpi = dots per inch, so windows dpi pretty much means the scaling of text in programs.
If only that software is unreadable then it clearly is an issue with that specific program. Playing with DPI in windows settings scales everything.
Have you ever used vertical mouse? Would love to see your thoughts on one of those, they look great ergonomics wise. Not sure how good they are for gaming.
Rocket Jump Ninja nice vid 👍
Gigabyte just got homeschooled
I love the fact that you are always so true with your reviews and you've helped me a lot in the past choosing a mouse and mousepad! Keep up with your creativity and with the good reviews! Thanks
Gigabyte and Asus two motherboard giants who can't seem to get their mice right.
1:31 holy shit those double-double rail shots
Thanks for all the reviews your made! I took the Deathadder Elite after seeing your video and I really like it! Continue your excellent work!
Rocket Jump Ninja please make a review of the Thermaltake Ventus R, is becoming a favorite on the OCnet community for its small size, shape and lightweight
Simple enough
Looking forward to the Razer Basilisk review
Still waiting for it, apparently been sent.
rocket jump ninja you should make your own mouse one day
benq zowie is the mouse he likes most.
Hey, my dad got an M3 for Christmas and his scroll wheel is absolutely perfect. It's not rattling too.
what do you think bout the mouse, is it good?
Looking forward to the Venator black edition.
The loud rattling is coming from a plastic thing which redirects the LED lighting to the logo on the back. It can be removed (no negative effect whatsoever and you can't see under your palm when you are playing anyways) or glued and it's fixed. :D Removing it also reduces the weight :D
One thing, I have been using this mouse since April 2019. I have tried shaking the mouse after watching the review. But my scroll wheel isn't loose and doesn't make any noise.
Those airshots 👌 👌 👌 👌 👌 👌
Really like this weight and high lod actually.
Now to wait for the black Ninox Venator Black edition.
I have a feeling that video is going to be a short one as well.
Was really looking forward to this mouse. The XM300 only needed some improvements in the software and build quality department to be a decent DA alternative. As it turns out, software and build quality are both still crap and the random spin-outs as well as the click delay add insult to injury. Luckily there's the Cooler Master MM530 now which also has a forward sensor position and a much better build quality compared to earlier CM offerings. Take notes, Gigabyte.
Hope to see the G603 review soon.
Still waiting for it, apparently been sent.
Rocket Jump Ninja Nice review! it will be nice a review for the new AORUS M5 ;) it looks promising.
Are you gona do a "best mice 2017 edition"??❤️
Bro got the bad one. I got mine in 2024... Solid build... no issues which you faced. Its a good mouse now
They still make these?
@@RocketJumpNinja Yepp... In Bangladesh...
@@saafirrkk Which shop man? im also from bd
And what's your grip style?
@@ar1tro Ryans Computers bro... My grip styles like a normal person who holds thier mouse everyday:)) BTW they have a low stock because everyone wants this... I got mine with 1500 taka... or 15 dollars... you can pick it up if you want...
@@saafirrkk okey thanks
I hope you will review the Razer Basilisk before the end of the year. I'd like to know whether 107g is too heavy for an FPS mouse. I would suspect yes, but I'd like to hear your take.
It should be here next week.
Hey Xy, have you ever tried Razer Taipan before? And if you did what was your experience with it? Just wonderin'
Hey Zy, I've got a quick question for you.
Are you gonna make a Top mouses for CS:GO 2017? If so, when?
Which software is that I couldnt find it anywhere to change my DPI settings
This would have been the smaller deathadder most of us wished for, but the quality made it a disappointment. Why Gigabyte?
And in my country they advertised this mouse as if it's the number 1 choice. Thanks Zy for the video. I'd still rather my g403 because its shape looks way better than this gamery one.
On my copy of this mouse I had a really annoying problem where if I grip the rubber sides firmly enough the side mouse buttons activate... was that an issue for anyone else?
Yeah I forgot to mention that... on both of the ones I've tried too.
The current trend is for hardware (motherboard/GPU, etc.) manufacturers to get into making peripherals, where they profit a lot more from each individual sale because they have far fewer licence costs (don't need to license Intel/AMD/Nvidia chips to sell on). Gigabyte has always been a value-oriented brand for hardware. Unfortunately it looks like they're also going to be a value brand for peripherals, but there's a shitload of competition in this space from Chinese knockoffs as well as more legitimate brands. They needed to do A LOT better than this to compete in the peripheral space, and it doesn't seem that they will. :(
Any word on a review of the Razer Basilisk?
What dpi is better to use playing in quake Champions in FullHD and what sensitivity need to set up in the game? What is your preset?
Make a short video about that or unswer me please))))))))))))))
Guy's, who has the xm300 can you confirm please that the LMB sometimes is not actually registering the click with the latest firmware?
Review of the new Logitech G613 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard?
craaaaaaap. this just gutted me. i wanted this to be an xm300but made better. i went through 3 xm300s and they were all so very very broken
I would like to see on fu***ng mouse that's appropriate for fingertip grip and MOBA games (ex. Zowie FK2 with Omron switches)
one*
It's been a while sinds this mouse has been released, have they fixed the mentioned stuff by now? I'm doing a all Aorus build, and this mice is cheap enough to add to the list. The M5 is out of my budget range. :(
Nah I gave up on Gigabyte mice. If I had to choose one I would probably get the Gigabyte M2 mouse. Or XM300 if you can still find it, but I think they all have issues.
@@RocketJumpNinja The MX300 is still available here in the Netherlands, a tad more expensive then the M3.
What this noise is came from? I had similar on my Fnatic Flick
Do you know what the encoder stays in this mouse?
Bro, I'm looking for a cheap CSGO mouse, what should I get? Nice vid though.
If you're looking for a "cheap" mouse then you're on the wrong channel lol.
RIVAL 100
Vladimir Kataev how cheap
rival100/g102 is pretty good
How about g303
Seriously, who does buy Gigabyte, Asus or other such brands for a mouse?! They're good with motherboards, they should stick to what they know.
PanzerIV lol i laughed at Gigabyte phones
anyone else came to watch this video because of when you shake the mouse the clicky noise it makes?
I need a Asus ROG Pugio Review
I never have good/great expectations with Gigacrap products, and this is one of those disappointments.
is there a review on the asus rog impact mouse?
Soon
top 2017 mouse, plz?
splintPRO g403
There haven't been a standout mouse this year, just go for the G403 ( or any of its variants ) the old trusty Deathadder or maybe the performance orientated Zowie ( they're all the same only differ in shape )
Such a shame because I really loved the shape.
U can accately see it on your gameplay that its not a good mouse.. Its not as fluent as it use to be :/
Is that the same Gigabyte like the one that makes Gpus
Heaty yeah
the scroll is still loose .....
KTHXBAI !!!!1111
mm530 here i come :)
I've had the xm300 since november and since august the mousewheel is way harder to press, and my mouse also decides to randomly stop responding when i do big gestures (help? xd)
Set it to 500hz yet?
I'll give it a try ty!
Can i feel the difference between that and 1000?
I can't.
Rocket Jump Ninja still having the issue, maybe the cable?..
There nothing that's better in this price let alone cheaper.
cna you please HELP me to fain mad catz rat pro s + software... if you can contact whit them will be nice ty ty :)
I can't find it either, sorry.
Has Gigabyte addressed the issues on this mice?
Sensor seems ok now, the rest ... don't think so.
Rocket Jump Ninja Thank you for answer and the great content. Keep it up!

I really regret that I bought a gigabyte mouse. I bought a M4(not M3). its heavy as hell. difficult to lift off repeatedly. very fat at the back and sharp at the front, which makes it a bad shaped mouse. button curves are not finger friendly. the mouse got good hard wares(turned out bad later), but the shape and weight really makes it a bad one. will go for g102 now. money wasted.
is it bad for claw palm m4?
@@yucewalden depends on your hand size, But I would never recommend someone an aorus m4/m3/m5 mouse after knowing opinions from others and using m4. There other are choices in the market for claw/palm/F.tip and small/medium/large which are 10x times better than these gigabyte mice. I have 19.5cm/10cm hand and honestly m4 sucks for my hand. I used several mice like razer viper mini, logitech g102, fantech helios xd3(same shape as zowie s2) and some other mice but none felt so much uncomfortable like aorus m4 did.
@@SMHakimulIslam My hand size 18.5 9.5 is it good for me?
@@SMHakimulIslam you mean uncomfortable with both sides 2 button?
@@yucewalden No. there are good mice in the market with both side buttons, like the Razer Viper. back to aorus M4, the whole mouse is a trash. build quality= not so good, cables= hard plus not so good, many units come falulty. Like I had to replace three times to get a unit with no fault! the only good things about the mouse is the pwm3389 sensor and the rgb. But because the shape/weight and overall combination isn't that good, those two good sides don't shine when it comes to user experience. Do you understand what is my point? This is a BAD mouse from every perspective! and you won't know the difference until you use something good for similar price. Like the g102 or razer viper mini!
Man the Aorus logo looks horrible.

LA CUCARACHA
damn, it's a piece of shit.
First
104gr is heavy?Wtf toys are you playing with?
You should give light mice a proper try.
@@RocketJumpNinja Ι think its all a matter of what weight you got used to.
No doubt if you haven't tried the light mice properly. Like I said, get a light mouse (under 90g) and the right size for your hand, and see how much you improve.
@@RocketJumpNinja The problem with mice (and keyboards) is that you cant try them all before you buy.Its a bit of a risk. You might be surprised that the most comfortable mouse for you might be a $10 chinese crap that you have never heard of.
