That was a joke. He could hit a little padlock dead-on from 200 feet away on the first shot but 500,000 times in the series he couldn't hit a bad guy 50 feet away with a clear shot. He wasted more ammo shooting at walls, floors, beams and pillars with zero chance of hitting anybody.
