Bono's vision is itself prophetic. God sends us to receive his word through his greatest artists. Thank you God for sending Bono at this time

And, actually God will deal with our problems, which we are unaware of, in His grace and love. Surely He did this with the Apostle Paul, and will do with all His children. yet, after saying that, I am challenged by Bono, and I like his heart very much. It is refreshing.

This sir speaks truth. I struggle with the belief that my art is worthless because it doesn't bring in much money. God says opposite but it's still a struggle. Very discouraging at times, it feels like being in prison. I just don't feel free to have fun and express myself anymore, like I'm not allowed to because of money. I wish money didn't exist. It's like I have to choose between money and living.

Aww... I am touched by your comment. We are in this together.... You are among many...... Our species is rather divisive. and super divided in the very Land called the mixing pot !!!
Our environment here in Usa is difficult to navigate.
The artists' soul work for freedom but
The body has to function in our
      Manmade Maze.....
If we could imagine slightly adjusting seeking a
      New Aulde Way
      Am Aulde New One
Perhaps we could reach out to native elders....

Beautiful. Drawing in the sand IS the point. Alone with your own art.

I believe it's less about what Jesus is drawing in the sand and more about who He is in that moment, what He know's He's going to do in the Garden and on the cross, and about His confidence and peace in that moment facing a woman in sin and her persecutors.

We are not being true to the artist as a man if we consider his art work junk simply because we differ with his outlook on life. Christian schools, Christian parents, and Christian pastors often have turned off young people at just this point. Because the schools, the pastors, and the parents did not make a distinction between technical excellence and content, the whole of much great art has been rejected with scorn and ridicule. Instead, if the artist's technical excellence is high, he is to be praised for this, even if we differ with his world view. Man must be treated fairly as man.

Some people hide in art. Bono says don't. He says preach G-d through showing the problems, angst, etc.

why is it that most art is rejected by congregations in the US? The only real problem that God has is the one that's covered up...there are many in the ministries and in the world of course I believe but I'm glad that David Taylor listens to Bono in this real message...

People have their own ideas of what art is supposed to be and its value instead of letting God bring the vision and revelation. I've struggled against this for years.

Can anyone help me..... what scripture does Jesus draw in the sand ?

To my simple understanding of Jesus Christ writing on the sand. Is a statement of creation and forgiveness of all sins. The movement of the sea is a design by the father. To stop living in the past. When the bible says Jesus walked on the water it meant he walked on the water. By faith are we saved 🌟😃

I love Bono but he said “there is one thing God can’t do”. God can do anything. He turns the heart of the king.

See Rob Bell's book "What is the Bible?" for some insight into what Jesus perhaps could have written in the sand. It has something to do with the Festival of Tabernacles, which was the yearly Jewish feast at that time. One of the passages that were taught at the Festival of Tabernacles is from the prophet Jeremiah. More specifically, Jeremiah 17:13. Go have a look at what it says ;) Jesus was confronting the entire entrenched religious power structure with that action, not just teaching a lesson on righteousness as we were taught.

Bono asks why was Jesus drawing on the ground. They were testing Him, Jesus, if He will obey the law. He was drawing on the ground...which is stone....because they were in the temple and the temple ground is stone. Not sand. Jesus wanted to show them.....do you know who are you talking with? I wrote this law with my finger on the stone.....Jesus writing to the stony ground before responding on their law question.....God writing the law with His finger on the stone....
There is one more explanation....Ground of stone can be covered in sand of course......Jesus reveals thru Jacob Lorber in the work Heavenly Gifts: Look at the adulteress judged by the world! Her fault I have written into the sand, so that the wind may blow it away.
