Thank you so much for showcasing this! I've already got a lot of feedback and am working on an update, but I like to give some insights: - This was the first time I did proper translations for a mod (it comes in English and German) and I run into quite a lot of issues to get it working that I in the end forgot to check if the sizes displayed in the titles are correct. - Originally they used Stroud exteriors, but they weren't any 3x3 Stroud exterior assets so I've swapped to Deimos. I am currently learning how to do custom models so in the future this will be updated with Stroud exteriors - I really liked how you put the chair in the pool. Now I'm gonna add benches along the inside of the pool! Thank you again!
Hopeful the armory gets a bit of a touch up, every other hab looks amazing but that one kinda looks like a normal empty armory with some displays placed. More a testament of the quality of the other habs then anything
I Love the 2x2 habitation module especially. We Just don't really have another option to get separated sleeping rooms for our crew which does'nt have to be huge- Just a separated bedroom for some private space. This is perfect for that. Would you mind giving us another variant so that we can have 2 different 2x2 habitation rooms? Otherwise, an empty version to decorate by myself would also bei great
Picked this mod up last night and redid my Captains Quarters. Really like it. The luxury habs could have being sold by some one like Trident Ships in game for more immersive purchase.
That depends coopcollins... if you install mod that changes ship size from 40 to 70 you are make your ship look like a small battleship. For some examples to these watch either wise old wizard or teamscorpio who've both used that super sized hab in some of their builds. I've used it in one of my ships that was 65 in length, but use it in a 40 can make your ship look a little silly in you don't put tremendous effort into making a ship to make everything blend together nicely.
Needs a little polish before I'll put out money for it, but it looks pretty good. For actual money, that pool needs to be functional. :P For immersion's sake it should also have some kind of cover when not in use. A pool in zero gravity is a terrible idea for a spaceship.
I suggested replacing the pool with hot tubs. Fits the height of water better, and hey, more 'private' space if you wanna, ... For pools, at the moment I still prefer the dp aerospace on nexus, but it's 3x3x2 which doesn't fit everyone's builds..
I just got these and they are also available at your landing platform with ship builder The captains quarters, living quarters and armory are very nice
This looks really neat. The hardest thing will be to figure out a place to put the door (with PDY) so you don't lose a nice feature. The problem with seats on one wall and a screen on the opposite wall is that you have to lose one or the other to use either wall whereas couch in a corner and screen on a mid hab wall like the Nova Captain's quarters makes for an obvious entry point where you can have both.
I saw this mod yesterday and almost immediately bought it, decided to wait for a review. Buying it. It’s exactly what I’ve wanted, a chance to make my luxury yacht. If the author is taking suggestions, a few more 1 by 2 jabs would be amazing., particularly smaller living quarters and a fancy science lab for the gentleman or lady scientist living the explorer dream. What would Walter fly with when exploring? Teddy Roosevelt’s study obviously.
With all the interior decoration mods available, paid hab mods have to be something special. These are definitely quality and the pool is that special thing, but Midas/Betamax/Skully/Better Better Buildable Walls really have you covered for most of this.
Got this the second I saw you upload this video... it'll go well with my fancy ship as I just downloaded mod to increase size of ship from 40 to 60 so I can make large destroyer ships...
I just bought this. I have a very nice captain's quarters, armory and living quarters now on my redesigned chimera. Used one of the 1x1 for my view port at the front of the ship so people have someplace nice to sit and look outside.
Awesome mod, thank you for reviewing this, its a must-buy for me. I've been looking for high quality ship habs, and now I have to decide where to put doors 😅
I like this mod, but there are a few issues: - No Infirmary mod. - Limited possible doorway can cut-off whole modules. - A very nice addition would be a force door / ladder, and forced wall / ceiling structure peice. - Desperately need "flipped" or "rotate" versions due to very limited door and window options. - Nice to have would be 2x1, 1x2, 3x1, and 1x3 companion-way / hallways.
If M-Class ships are ever officially added, or maybe the mods expanded for them, you could do an entire luxury liner build between this and the Fortuna mod.
Really cool habs. But i don't know if i want to spend 4€ for this. Maybe when more habs will be added. An Infirmary and a cockpit would be nice. Also i would love when this had an empty version. I like to decorate my ship by myself but the walls on the vanilla habs have those inlets, where cargo or other decorations normally would be placed, which is annoying af when you want to place wall mounted decorations. The smooth and clean walls from this habs are perfect for decorating.
4 Dollar is just 1 glas of soda here (in Bavaria) in a normal (not fancy) restaurant (or 1 cup of coffee)! Eat 1 Big Mac less and you can buy the mod! But nobody is "forced" to buy mods!
I created a neat compact luxury ship… but it seemed to have issues with some other mode (I had the luxury & Place doors yourself patch)… 🤷♂️ I will try again tomorrow…
Hi, the water looks like that transparent fabric on the table, i think the autor of the mod used something like that to simulate the water in the pool. The mod looks ok but 400 credit is too much. I've seen mods looking a lot better for free. 100 credit is a much more realistic price.
400 credis is too much?? That is about 4 € or US Dollar - a Big Mac from McDonald cost more! Here in Bavaria a cup of coffee in a normal restaurant cost that! 400 credits for all the work to create such a mod (you can try to create such a mod yourself!) are peanuts! And nobody is "forced" to buy a mod!
Against my better judgement I bought this mod, mainly as I had some free coins sitting around doing nothing. I immediately ran into an issue using the mess hall. A door was placed over to one side of the main area and there was something blocking the floor in front of the door stopping me from passing through into the rest of the ship! An issue like that immediately you use the hab suggests there could be more issues to discover later. Nice mod. Not worth the price and there will be bugs and issues it seems to be sorted out
Does the mess hall have the intercom if using the " working mess hall " mod? Allowing the crew to be called down to eat? A little too basic for me when compared to the player home luxury home that is just amazing. Otherwise will be seeing thousands of these mods which are kind of meh..... All these mods need to wirk with the " working infirmity and working mess mods "
Nice, did you see the new Bethesda mod, I think it's called civilian suit, for 5 Bethesda dollars that is just a suit? These prices are not super great. The only mods I myself have gotten that I think are worth it are the bounty mission and the paid space mining mod. Other than that, just free for me so far.
I disagree. It does absolutely nothing special and looks goofy af. The description is poor to say the least. I thought maybe it protected you better than other suits against the environment at the least but no. I want my $5 back!
You mentioned you wish they were more custom with exterior it be cool if they were trident which is supposed to be expensive luxurious ships for the elites with big wallets...
i still dont get why we cant craft a coffee with thhe coffee maker or when a stove is added, ,why it isnt working ? And there is a mod called "useful messhalls", i am pretty sure that function isnt in that mod either... ofc ty for reviewingg the mod, maybe i grab it if it gets an update on 1.1 or 1.2 - im waiting.
Any idea what the "Shattered Space" "creation" is all about? It's from Bethesda's official creation account, but it's less than 1 megabyte, offers no explanation in description as to why it's there or what it's for, etc.
This is a very tempting mod. I have to ponder the idea of spending my remaining 400 Bethe$da Buck$ on it. It would definitely allow for a luxury yacht/small cruise ship build. What Habs provide Passengers and how many?
Every time i add a hab to my ship, then back out to save it dash board's my game even though I've hard reset my xbox series X and re tried same result's is there a fix for this ?
Taiyo are many things but luxury is certainly not one of them.... their interiors are bare and plain looking like industrial interiors as they share almost the same look as hope tech hulkers, I call taiyo the poor man's ships due to interiors looking poor, its why they are favored by the crimson fleet, nice exterior poor interior.
Sadly, the vanilla Taiyo doesn't look that luxurious to begin with. Or maybe that's just my personal taste. I never liked the round interior walls that looks like a repainted Hopetech, which is IMO the ugliest ship design in the Starfield Universe. I agree with Crimson Flyboy, these luxury habs should be Stroud-Eklund instead of Deimos or Taiyo. The interior is very Stroud with the hexagonal wall shape, and they're the most likely to create these types of habs using their existing hab styling.
Exactly! Stroud is what I consider luxurious and some daimos habs are and some not. Hope tech are junker like long haul ships, they are not built for luxury as they are cargo ships and all taiyo is is a reskinned hope tech which I've always found odd due to characters in game bigging them up as ahead of all other ships with their luxury but they look cheap and tacky within but sporty on the outside if done right as they are hotrod style... I always stick to Stroud for class and daimos when I build small fighter ships and hope if role playing exploring deep space... I've never bothered with taiyo as they come off to cheap looking within plus the habs don't match the cockpit which is white and glamorous
@@matthewthomas7674I thought they were supposed to be luxury though. They of course had to reuse habs but I thought lore wise they are considered luxury?

This is the first thing that came to me right off. I'm very surprised Downfall went to publication with the mod having such basic mistakes. Obviously CFB was trying to be kind about it and good on him. But given the price and the author it really is suprising to see these errors. Now the decorations in all the habs are up to his excellent talent. But still I see me maybe using one or two of the habs which probably doesn't justify 400 cost. It would be a definite at 100 credits for sure. I'm not going to buy any extensive mods until after the DLC comes out. I'm just barely recovering from the Rev DLC that caused so many issues with compatability, load order, and glitches. Thx for the review CFB these really do help!
@@falconnmAre you suggesting Starfield on release was perfect? Yet people bought it. For example, look closely at the Rock in Akila City, there is still a hole in the mesh on the right side which clearly wasn’t intentional. Mistakes can happen and of all things this was embarrassing but minor.
Lol, that only works with that specific ladder in there like in the video. My ship has been ladder free for half a year. I use other habs that has stairs in them and PDY mod to manually place my connections. So a centralised staircase hab to connect all 5 decks of my ship and regular door connections elsewhere. So no way am I going to have ladders anymore.
