      After i get to crater 87 the quest doesnt update and interacting with the red suit guy just says hes busy

      Loved the mod. Just completed it. I wish it were longer and we knew more about the Man from Argos.
      Is there a way to clean up the base once its unlocked as a player home?

      @@scottimusmaximus4360 I may add cleaning up in a patch. I avoided it for the first release because I fear the complications it can cause to pathfinding for the AI and the extra QA work it would require.
      I can for example delete the big barricade blocking the door to the warehouse office. And I can make most objects moveable for the building interface. However I am not sure if there are any unexpected complications that can be caused by it.
      Also how much of the environmental objects is stuff players want to keep as it is, make moveable, or delete completely.
      Tell me what you would like to see in a house mod then I can perhaps incorporate some of that into the mod. I do not have experience with house mod gameplay.

      @@caracal3892 that's understandable. If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about it. The mod istelf is, in my opinion, outstanding and the building becoming a player home/base upon conpletion is a nice bonus. Personally I can't wait to see what other space-horror themed content you can bring to this game

      @@caracal3892 Minor thing (Over all loved the mod, great vo btw.) during the examination of the dead body of a pilot of the shuttle, would be nice if Combat Medic treat (Background/Life Choice? The one of the 3 perks you can choose when you make a character.) would be accounted for, as, I assume a combat medic would be able to examen a body.
      Other then that, mod is very well done, as any good storys leaves you wanting more. Would be cool to find out more about the Red Man. If you are planing on expanding on that in the future with this or other creations, you have my credits :D

    OK, just finished the mod ... best $6 I've spent all day. Very nice adventure. Except for having a hard time finding one card, I had a good time. Thanks _caracal5_ for an excellent mod and thanks for the notification Crimson Flyboy.

    Total tangent, but I can appreciate seeing you fly a Reef III at the start of a playthrough. The reference to the cat from the Alien movies is nice. Emergency Power Cells, always a quick way to trigger events. The guy in the spacesuit sure likes to talk a lot, probably to counter working alone on Mars. But I'll have to finish watching the video later; I'm assuming hostile aliens, given the reference to Jonesy.

      Okay, so I've watched the end now. I won't spoil anything, but needless to say I'd be really grateful for that Negotiator I always carry. Also, I'd be spamming Starborn powers. Gravity Well + 40mm xpl rounds go wonderfully well together to solve many problems. Also, interesting callback to the Va'Ruun. Seems things didn't go as anyone expected. What was the deal with the random Maggotmaw though? That I missed...

      Do you mean it does not fit into the mod? I added it because it has a very imposing and dangerous appearance. Originally I wanted it to be an early boss fight in the large warehouse area. However the AI of it is not good in open spaces, because it tends to run away and hide. So I moved it into another location late in the quest so the fight is more engaging.

      @@caracal3892 Yeah, it's a second random alien species in the middle of the mod. So it is a bit jarring. It's an easy enough fix though, you just need a log entry about some Beast Hunter losing a crate with the creature. Maybe it was from a previous flight of the Jonesy, and the critter was smaller at the time, able to fit into a vent or something. Maybe a data slate states that a worker swore they heard weird sounds in an air vent after the Jonesy landed or something. Then the Maggotmaw becomes an expected fight with its own lore.

      I was not sure what type of monsters would be in the mod until very late in development, the cataxi were planned from the start. However I also wanted something large and imposing as a boss fight. If I would have picked something that looks closer related to the cataxi it would have been more fitting.
      (I also think one of the computer logs mentions someone hearing something in the elevator shaft, not sure if it is still in the mod, I just remember writing a line like that)

    Ok thanks for the under the blue bucket tip- That was Bobs initial broke down card- The office manager was in the Top hatch drop down pickup who was barricaded. The Security officer was in the hallway with the glass top between the cafeteria and the Storage area. Got those! I am blocked by not being able to find the Engineer ID which is supposedly in the storage area- I have spent 2 hours watching your video twice and at least and hour roaming around the Crater 87. I didn't see your Engineer ID pickup- but saw you got to proceed. I love this game after 169 levels without the ~ skills, and 1500 hours. Can you provide additional guidance from memory other otherwise on how to find the Engineer's ID? So I can move on? Again Love your accent!

    After it tells me to go to crater 87, i land and the red suit guy wont say or do anything, interacting with him just says this individual is busy

    Loved this mod. The mix of Alien/the Thing was brilliantly done. I wish it were longer and i wish there was a way to clean yp the facility after completing the quest and unlocking the base as a home

      About length: The voice acted scenes all together would be at least 35 minutes (assuming the player lets the voice acting play out without skipping). Then combat difficulty also plays a lot into it. That is something hard to predict. I play Starfield on everything set to very hard. So if a high-level cataxi bites my character it may lead to some injuries that won't heal right away. If someone plays on lower difficulty settings then combat can be over quickly. I could have packed the station with larger waves of enemies, however I went for more detailed staging of fewer encounters and making the enemies tougher.
      About cleaning up: I can mark most objects as moveable (for the building interace) so players can move a lot of things out of the way, and I could also make some of the barricades to be deleted when the quest is complete. The only question is whether it will cause irritations with pathfinding and quality assurance. If you can tell me what you look for in a home mod I can incorporate that in a future patch (I basically do not have much experience with player homes so I do not know what players want)

      Also a second point about length:
      I added a lot of variation in dialogue choice early in the mod which depend on character background and traits. However these are not all visible on one playthrough. And that extra work is sometimes not accounted for when measuring the mod length.
      For example the voice assets for the gagarin settlement location (all lines for all npcs except for some very specific quests) is 1026. My npc in mod has 320 voice assets.
      It's a difficult trade-off to balance variation in voice acting against gameplay time, if I would have skipped dialogue choice and invested into more linear dialogue I could have made more scenes and the mod would be longer.

    I finished the quest. I like the horrific story longer than the vulture and more horrific than shuttered Space. But for the price we should have a reward good one like unique armor or weapon and some astra for exemple. Its why i dont give all points to the mod because lt costs 6 euros. But anyway its good quest dont hesitate buy and play you'll not regreat.

    starts strong with a nice "alien" feeling, but then drops off sharply in the base and is very boring. the 600 credits are definitely not worth it.
    the mod "Lazarus Awakened" is much better, bigger dungeon, dark and exciting "alien" atmosphere until the end and an exciting background story about Dr Orlase.
    and for free.

      One cool thing I saw with this mod is apparently the author updated crater 87 to include a randomly spawning giant dynamic poi now which is on moons

      this is a nice extra that has now been added, but does not fix the weaknesses in the carter 87 station and the mod for me still a bad buy. if you spend money on a mod, then it should not look half finished

    Hmm...mysterious ship disappearance...reappears without explanation over pluto in a decaying orbit...where have I heard this before? (event horizon) not sure if this was an intentional nod or not but it's cool.

      @@CrimsonFlyboynah- BOBS broke ass Key or ID was under the blue bucket- office manager’s id was on her dead body- I don’t remember your showing the id from the security manager in the hallway to the storage area below the flight deck- but i am SURE you didn’t show the pick up of ID card from the engineer- wherever he was found. Please remember and advise!?!? Love your accent- can’t dial it in and don’t want to offend. I said similar things, out loud, on my play thru- watching on your walk through and love the content! Any tips!? Nothing found in my storage area or Engineer id to move on! I am obviously a bit slow- but 1500 hours in, i can say i like this game! Any guidance you can provide would be great!!

    This paid quest is terrible. Nothing but a wild goose chase, look for these 5 items and make sure you read EVERYTHING otherwise you’ll be lost for an hour. And for Christ sake why does his voice is so damn low!! I can barely hear anything he said 100% of the time

      I feel like the key card thing was a throw back to older games like survival horror titles I wish there was more rooms for each key to be used in so you could have a proper labyrinth like maze similar to re1 mansion but as a space factory

    THE KEYCARD IS UNDER THE BLUE BUCKET IN THE ARCHIVES JESUS CHRIST. PAY ATTENTION. The number of times you walked right past it while going "where is the janitor? Where is the janitor?" was one of the most frustrating things. You had this information. You looked at that entry earlier in your playthrough.
