Amelita Galli-Curci - Echo Song (Bishop)

From Galli-Curci's final recording session, this long unissued electrical version of the "Echo song" composed by Sir Henry Rowley Bishop is sung surprisingly well, given the deterioration of Galli-Curci's voice by this late date. The acoustic recording from 1921 is superb and this later one is highly enjoyable. Victor recording, September 6, 1930.

You are right, when you say that it is the most fantastic voice and emotion! But please do not make such postulates, that no modern singer will be able to do similar, because otherwise we never will have one!
