I'll cover the Dark Multiverse, Great Darkness, Pralaya and Collective Unconscious as well as several others. I really appreciate The Efforts of Grant Morrison to include Hindu,Vedic, Aztec and Many other mythological ideas and concepts into one continuous Cosmology.
One thing that I do like in DC over Marvel is that the Gods are treated right in DC. They are not simply a projections of super advanced race of Beings on our reality and whatnot but are genuinely superior ideas the craft The Cosmos
True DC does make the gods seem more godlike than Marvel. I guess my main gripe is that in DC (and Marvel and many other fictional works) the old gods are dependent on the faith of their worshippers (and sometimes there empowered by the presence of their elements, concepts etc.). This is NOT the case in many mythologies and beliefs. They are the sources of their concepts and DO NOT need mortals to pray to them. Heck, most predate and even created said mortals in the first place. Case in point, in various mythologies if a god dies or even neglect their duties whatever domain they rule over gets chaotic leading to universal catastrophe.
-Amaterasu (goddess of the sun and universe) hiding in a cave darkened the universe and caused everything to die.
-Parvati (goddess of nature (among other things)) withdrawing her cosmic energy to teach her husband a lesson caused an all-encompassing scarcity.
One last thing. While gods might (for the MOST part) become empowered upon obtaining their roles and privileges, they do not get stronger while in the presence of their element from then on. Poseidon doesn't become any powerful on sea than on land, Hades doesn't get stronger in the underworld or when more people die, Ares doesn't get stronger in a war or a battlefield. Put simply, when they gain their privileges they become the SOURCE of said privilege.

Despite rising to power due to the beliiefs, they become powerful as to claim to not need it and their myths becoming true. Not only that, they *were always* true, not just from now on. That is, until their worship dies out and other religions rise in their place with the cycle starting once more

Ok, but that only applies to real world. In fiction, gods can be made to be empirically and unequivocally real regardless of belief. They actually exist and are no less "real" than characters not worshipped as divine. Yet why are they still dependent on faith for power? By that logic, since any comic book character is dependent on popularity, shouldn't that be reflected that in comics just like the gods were?

@@TemplarShad0w Untrue. The Cthulhu Mythos operates under a higher state considering the heavier hitters in that Universe don't rely on human belief to exist. So most of them, even weaker Outer Gods like Nyarlathotep would be more then enough to fodderize guys like Perpetua and The Presence for breakfast.

I have to praise your the amount of effort you spent to make sense of the countless pieces of mismatched lore that comic -verses usually are. I know that most of these things aren't really meant to work together, but I think most fans (me included) are not interested in answers like "it's PIS", or "Inconsistency, what we can do?". That said, I think the debacles and lore contradictions about the Presence are very iconical of this: some writters simply take for granted the existence of an omnipotent, perfect being that created everything in the -verse; others are more prone to the "gods were created by humans" trope. Personally, and I want to make clear that this is my personal interpretation, I believe in something in between: the Presence we saw until now is a being spawned from human kind's memory of the true creator ingrained in the Colective Unconscious. I mean, we know that beings more powerful than Perpetua exists, and we don't have that much information about them, so, I think it's at least possible.
I'd agree too The Presence is the aspect of The Divine Creator or The Creator itself. And The Presence is apart of the three.

Ughhhlll, the fact that earth and humanity still hold any significance whatsoever within these collective unconsciousness’s and outer realms is irritatingly annoying. There are so many damn realms, and dimensions and voooids. Its like every damn being is just trying to one up everything and everybody else before hand and then still gets womped by something random for plots sake. Why?! WHYYYYYY!?!?
Just clarifying, you mean you're annoyed with how Earth has like more power in the collective unconscious then other alien species or other dimensions? I can see that a little bit, and I think some writers made it that way for the same reasons that people used to think the earth was the center of the solar system and that the sun revolved around the Earth.
Probably has more so to do with their stories and such on a metaphysical level. Like how Superman is the embodiments and concept of Hope rather than just being an alien, and how his story led to the CaS plot

In the recent Justice league run, they talk about how after the higher beings of the source ( the big rainbow hawk thing) locked up perpetua in the source wall, they reset the multiverse, then I think the collective unconscious took over and would create different ways of how creation was created, including the presence etc
I don't really get how the Gos'Sphere and the collective unconcious are connected. If Gods are spown from the collective unconcious, why are they in the Gos'Sphere, and if Hecate is in the Gos'Sphere and she created the CU, does that mean that the GS Is beyond the CU? Also, if the GS is depicted as the Place Where magic comes from, why It was said that magic comes from the great Darkness?
Cause the god sphere and the cu both exist in the same plane but just different locations
The gs is where most magic comes from but some got it from gd but all human magic or magic in humans come from gd

My theory is that imagination ( God) created perpetua and she was the hand that greated the multiverse. Because only when people believed in doom did she really gain back her power. Also the upside down man is aa powerful as hecate because in JL dark latest issue she was not enough to stop the USD man. So i am saying that he is in correct. The presence is from the overvoid but he is not as powerful in the grand scheme of things. Because the source is the beginning of everything (the collective imagination) and the source sent out perpetua and all of her kind, she created the monitors and all of this multiverse. She did not create the dark multiverse but she knows of it. Since is a being of light and only the dark can damage her then that would mean that the light defeated the darkness n it retreated. In a way its the cycle of life and death. Life is based on your unlimited possibilities and unlimited potential but because of whether you are limited or not you will succeed.
Upside down man is the dark half of the maiden aspect of Hecate, from the moment that it fragmented all magical problems arose

Does DC have a collective unconscious in every universe? Or is it only found in the dreaming? I love your videos.
Supposedly the collective consciousness either is the dreaming or a part of the dreaming and might be encompassed by the 5th Dimension that Mxy comes from, where in DC the 5th Dimension in this context is Imagination and supposedly even goes out past the Source. (Also is not actually 5 mathematical/geometric dimensions but infinitely beyond infinite of such dimensions)

Nah the Trans are way more powerful, the Beyonders are the equivalent of the New Gods from the God Sphere since both species transcend their respective Multiverses and Realities. Although I'd still put the New Gods above the Beyonders since there's no statements regarding them being Achetypal or above Platonic Concepts.

Hey parrot, just as an answer to one of your questions in the video, Scott Snyder recently confirmed in a cool interview that the creation of the multiverse by Michael and Lucifer is the restarted version after perpetual was locked up in the source wall. In this way, both means of creation happened. Just perpetuous was the original. What are your thoughts on this?

The god sphere is a plane of existence that exists beyond space and time and is an archetypal world filled with platonic concepts and powerful ideas. There are 8 main realms in the God sphere heaven and hell, which are equal and beyond space and time. One of the gods of the thirteen heavens stated that it exists in a place that transcends place on a day that transcends day implying its beyond space and time and by extension, hell is too. There are as many heavens as there are souls in the orrery which is multiple sets of infinities. There's Skyland and the phantom zone. Skyland is where the old gods reside, and the pantheons of different cultures exist here. The phantom zone is a dimensionless boundless dimension beyond space and time. It's a permeable membrane between the light and the dark multiverse. Meaning it's at least as big as the orrery, which multiple infinite number of infinite sets. There's also the dreaming and the nightmare. The nightmare is described as beneath space and beneath time(in a nutshell). Which implies it's also beyond space and time. There's also apokolips and new genesis, the home of the new gods. Apokolips is the home of the dark tyrant, darkseid, whose true form exists as an archetype, the archetype of evil. Which is suggested by multiple statements saying darkseid is evil incarnate. New genesis is home to all other new gods and it is a paradise world. All mortal universes exist as mere bubbles on new genesis(stated by orion). The sphere of gods is governed by hypertime.

Yes becusse the Leviathan Of Stories exists and everything in this video is transcended by Final Heaven which is transcended by The Crack and that is transcended Infinitley by the next layer in the Leviathan Of Stories and since there's Numberless layers with no top nor bottom, there's Infinite higher Transcending Realms.
