Plus Fireproof isn't equal to fire immunity. Many things can be broken down and melted by heat if its hot enough (Even fireproof objects.) So its just that Momo's blast breath is hot enough that it bypassed the limit of Greenbull's fireproof plants.

I was just thinking about this... we've seen Luffy and Kaido and others use advanced conquerors haki by infusing it like armement haki. What if Shanks did the same or something similar but infused or mixed his conquerors haki with his observation haki instead. That could explain why Greenbull looked like he could hear and listen to Shanks from far away. That could make conq. haki even more op than it already is and add another layer to it.
It was definitely advanced conquerors & observational haki mixed. I think 🤔 Shanks has full mastery of every haki. It was clear when he dodged Whitebeard who threw that large bottle of sake 🍶 faster than he threw it. The way he got to Marineford no one even detected him, Benn Beckmann no one. They were so stealth to the point were they displayed a level of observational haki that canceled their presence. Rayleigh did this when he was training Luffy.
In the anime, Law felt the "voice" from the poneglyph. I'm sure his observation Haki is strong enough to where he realized she wasn't at the party and simply noticed two voices way underground, investigated a little and met them using Shambles (Chambres). It really isn't that far fetched. in terms of timing, he was probably slightly behind Kid, cause we saw killer as well so they probably walked to the fireworks, then Law hit the Irish exit to go pick up his pirate booty
If only oda focused on the writing for most of strawhats half as much as he focused on momo's character writing Momo got more love in few chapters than Franky in the entire post timeskip

I don’t think they’re having a Haki conversation. I think it’s more that Greenbull is familiar with Shanks is Haki and thus, when it was exerted on him with malicious intent, he realized shanks was nearby and knows that Shanks is basically saying, back off. I don’t he can literally hear what Shanks is saying. He’s merely familiar with Shanks Haki. Similar to Luffy at the end of the chapter saying the Haki reminded him of someone he knows. It doesn’t change the insane Shanks feat. I just don’t think we need to say he was speaking literally through Haki until more is presented.
That's just objectively false. Shanks literally spoke to him. Greenbull understood perfectly what Shanks was saying. It's a massive reach to claim he didn't hear him despite Shanks giving a speech, especially when we JUST saw Luffy communicating with Momo and Law's crew in the SAME way while he was sinking.
Considering the fact that law went from the basement to the roof with one room I don’t think his offscreen movement means much of anything when he legit can cover wide distances in an instance
IMO, it’s possible that shanks use this kind of HAKI a moment before he arrives at the marineford to tell whitebeard just before he die, he tells him that he’ll come to end the war and not to worry about his children, allies, also luffy to guarantee their way to escape. It looks like when WB about to die he doesn’t worry about the rest of the war and die peacefully, it was like he knew something gonna happen to save them
Except Luffy and gang could easily sense the haki from all the way in the city and even blatantly say that was some insane haki being thrown around so if he did do it in marineford most people would have at least sensed it being sent towards whitebeard.
Rayleight training Luffy made him feel his emotions through haki, saying "thats haki too". GB didnt hear Shanks words but he felt the emotion we saw Shanks face express and knew had to leave, like HxH when some show a menacing killer aura like Hisoka, Illumi n ofc Pitou
That’s what I thought at first but then you stop, look at the panel, and see that it’d straight up a speech bubble from shanks and greenbull is directly reacting to it. Like the mf straight up heard his voice. It’s not entirely clear which it is right now but the anime will probably clear it up more.

I think people had it mixed up for a bit. It was 1st Mates and Admirals that wasn't so clear. Only Yonko's have been established to being stronger than them 1v1. Like I can't believe people actually believe Kizaru could walk up to Wano and actually stop Kaido and Big Mom's Alliance. Like nah bruh. @@MrMidnight007 The fact that Chopper learned to control his Monster Point makes me doubt that Zoan awakening is always going to be feral, it may turn out to be like the Great Ape from DBZ or Sulong of the Minks that one can learn to control it through training, otherwise it gave a unfair ceiling to every Zoan user in the story (someone like Lucci will be barred from top tier for example). There is also possible that the Zoan in question is not feral even in it's natural form, such as Chopper's human fruit, Sengoku's Budda fruit, and Dragons of the Eastern variety are enlightened creatures that are almost always shown to be having high intelligence in myths anyway so that can be a different out to that feral problem.

I actually wonder what Law was up to. His clandestine movement left me asking questions. Could he have been planning all along to use Luffy to get to the Kaido’s Poneglyph? How did he even know to be exactly at the secret location where Sukiyaki and Nico Robin were? And seeing as he knows Nico Robin can read the Poneglyphs, could he be looking to capture her or could his strategy be to feign an alliance until the Strawhats discover all the Poneglyphs before his ambition to become Pirate King is clearer? What I loved about this Chapter is the way Oda portrayed the evolution of the Strawhats. They’ve grown so much that they now know when to apply discretion, when to engage in battle and when to discern that they aren’t needed. Feels like what a proper Yonko crew would do.

First guy who can actually beat Enel if Enel tried to keep his opponent at his longest ranges and spammed lighting, with the sole exception of lightning immune fighters like Luffy. It only took 801 chapters to get a feat that proves it. My man God Enel had some MAD chops. See I was iffy before this chapter on how much difficulty it would be for an admiral vs Luffy. This chapter to me maybe confirms it would be Mid dif at best. I really am gonna need Oda to explain these pseudo telepathic ability only conquerors seemingly have ... In regards to Greenbull covering for his weakness I see it just like Luffy. Luffy has been and will always be hurt by cutting,slicing and piercing attacks. But that doesn't mean he can't find ways to make his body be stronger against those attacks at a certain lvl. For instance we saw multiple times Luffy deflect doffy attacks but he got hurt by cracker and katakuri still. This is because their attacks are stronger like Momonosuke Boro breath vs Raizo fire attack.. With the way Oda is doing shanks I feel even if dragon isn't more powerful he will no doubt get his own hype treatment that's up there in my opinion..
It would be genuinely hilarious if jack had to be lowered down with a rope and just dragged around by a ship looking for anything important. I also like to think that Yamato is equal to, or even a little better than the Admirals already, considering holding off Kaido 1v1 even for a short time. 17:30 as a former Fisher man I can state for a fact shanks had to be at least 50-60 mills out at sea, wano Kuni is by no means a small Island and my home country of Dominica is approximately (750 km2) and it is about 29 miles (47 km) long and 16 miles (26 km) wide. and at the 50-60 mill mark you can only spot a rough shadow of the island so imagine how far shanks had to be to not have any visage of wano in their line of sight.

Thing with Pluton is that it can be alive, without being devilfruit-infused. As we all know „Klabautermänner“ exist in One Piece. As such it is possible for a ship to have a will, which in turn also means that Ships can have Haki, which is incredibly weird. If we think back to young Cutty Flam, he was wondering if it was even possible to build a ship like Pluton. I think that might be because it isn’t, because the only point when it becomes able to be Pluton, is if the ship was used well and carefully, hence gaining a Klabautermann, a will and perhaps even Haki. This is also why Franky wanted the strawhats to take the ship, because the concept of „Klabautermänner“ was moved from myth, to proven theory by the Klabautermann of the Merry. It would also explain why for pretty much every mission in the post-timeskip Franky was protecting and caring for the ship, instead of participating the entire time. So yeah, my working theory is that at the end of the story there will be 2 Plutons. 1 used 800 years ago(probably by joyboy) and 1 used right now. I mean the Sunny has to do some more post-timeskip, we all consider Merry to have been/be a member of the strawhats, but not really with the Sunny. The Sunny has to have a Klabautermann, or else Frankys dream of „the best ship sailing the world“ can’t even come true. Because it wouldn’t be the best ship.

Bruh, Why are you sleeping on my dude, Jinbe? I get that you can equate Sanji and Zoro’s capabilities to that of Admirals but you are wrong to say “maybe” Jinbe is also at that level. Remember, Luffy was able to rely on Jinbe to handle the remaining Navy and their Admirals in order to head out to Wano and battle Kaido and BM. He literally left Jinbe alone to clean up, while the bases were loaded. Additionally, even Ace knew who Ninbe was during his imprisonment and asked Jinbe to look out for his kid brother. Jinbe was once Commander level pirate with the BM pirates before leaving to join the Strawhats. And while he’s been with the Strawhats, his very presence has come at times when even Sanji and Luffy were getting rushed and slowed down in Wano. Am I the only one who thinks Shanks showed a "new" type of haki? We actually see in this chapter, that right now on Want we're up quite high (above "usual" clouds!) Shanks is on Sea-Level on his ship. Still during the fight on Wano, Greenbull acts like if Shanks would stay right in front of him. She has the basic levels for the other hakis at least I believe. But her affinity and being kaidos daughter her conquerors is the most potent haki for sure. Fighting kaido all her life probably helped develop it.
the whole "not touching" is something that comes from advanced armament as Luffy confirms this near the end of his fight with Kaido. The reason why the "not touching" thing seems like a big deal with CoC is because for whatever reason, combining CoC with advanced armament seems to increase the range of the attacks.
Personally This chapter was hype but it’s only like a 7-7.5 for me. The pacing is just trash in these kinds of chapters as cool as they are. Law ‘just shows up’. Shanks in Wano ‘just shows up’. Aramaki ‘just shows up’. The entirety of Old Wana was a double-page spread in one panel. How or why things happen are being skipped for narrative hype.

I think it’s more that Greenbull is familiar with Shanks is Haki and thus, when it was exerted on him with malicious intent, he realized shanks was nearby and knows that Shanks is basically saying, back off. I don’t he can literally hear what Shanks is saying. He’s merely familiar with Shanks Haki. Similar to Luffy at the end of the chapter saying the Haki reminded him of someone he knows. It doesn’t change the insane Shanks feat. I just don’t think we need to say he was speaking literally through Haki until more is presented.

@@MrMidnight007 The fact that Chopper learned to control his Monster Point makes me doubt that Zoan awakening is always going to be feral, it may turn out to be like the Great Ape from DBZ or Sulong of the Minks that one can learn to control it through training, otherwise it gave a unfair ceiling to every Zoan user in the story (someone like Lucci will be barred from top tier for example). There is also possible that the Zoan in question is not feral even in it's natural form, such as Chopper's human fruit, Sengoku's Budda fruit, and Dragons of the Eastern variety are enlightened creatures that are almost always shown to be having high intelligence in myths anyway so that can be a different out to that feral problem.

This chapter made lot of people who were saying Shanks was weak and not top 3 for years to go really quiet now.
I actually wonder what Law was up to. His clandestine movement left me asking questions. Could he have been planning all along to use Luffy to get to the Kaido’s Poneglyph? How did he even know to be exactly at the secret location where Sukiyaki and Nico Robin were? And seeing as he knows Nico Robin can read the Poneglyphs, could he be looking to capture her or could his strategy be to feign an alliance until the Strawhats discover all the Poneglyphs before his ambition to become Pirate King is clearer?
What I loved about this Chapter is the way Oda portrayed the evolution of the Strawhats. They’ve grown so much that they now know when to apply discretion, when to engage in battle and when to discern that they aren’t needed. Feels like what a proper Yonko crew would do.
I dont think law would betray luffy remember when smoker and law talks when smoker said law is using luffy but its the opposite but what i know is law is really curious abot the 800 void history i mean who dont even we are curious he probably wants to know what really happens coz he got a D. See I was iffy before this chapter on how much difficulty it would be for an admiral vs Luffy. This chapter to me maybe confirms it would be Mid dif at best. I really am gonna need Oda to explain these pseudo telepathic ability only conquerors seemingly have ... In regards to Greenbull covering for his weakness I see it just like Luffy. Luffy has been and will always be hurt by cutting,slicing and piercing attacks. But that doesn't mean he can't find ways to make his body be stronger against those attacks at a certain lvl. For instance we saw multiple times Luffy deflect doffy attacks but he got hurt by cracker and katakuri still. This is because their attacks are stronger like Momonosuke Boro breath vs Raizo fire attack..
With the way Oda is doing shanks I feel even if dragon isn't more powerful he will no doubt get his own hype treatment that's up there in my opinion..

17:30 as a former Fisher man I can state for a fact shanks had to be at least 50-60 mills out at sea, wano Kuni is by no means a small Island and my home country of Dominica is approximately (750 km2) and it is about 29 miles (47 km) long and 16 miles (26 km) wide. and at the 50-60 mill mark you can only spot a rough shadow of the island so imagine how far shanks had to be to not have any visage of wano in their line of sight.

Thing with Pluton is that it can be alive, without being devilfruit-infused.
As we all know „Klabautermänner“ exist in One Piece. As such it is possible for a ship to have a will, which in turn also means that Ships can have Haki, which is incredibly weird.
If we think back to young Cutty Flam, he was wondering if it was even possible to build a ship like Pluton. I think that might be because it isn’t, because the only point when it becomes able to be Pluton, is if the ship was used well and carefully, hence gaining a Klabautermann, a will and perhaps even Haki. This is also why Franky wanted the strawhats to take the ship, because the concept of „Klabautermänner“ was moved from myth, to proven theory by the Klabautermann of the Merry. It would also explain why for pretty much every mission in the post-timeskip Franky was protecting and caring for the ship, instead of participating the entire time.
So yeah, my working theory is that at the end of the story there will be 2 Plutons. 1 used 800 years ago(probably by joyboy) and 1 used right now. I mean the Sunny has to do some more post-timeskip, we all consider Merry to have been/be a member of the strawhats, but not really with the Sunny. The Sunny has to have a Klabautermann, or else Frankys dream of „the best ship sailing the world“ can’t even come true. Because it wouldn’t be the best ship.

Why are you sleeping on my dude, Jinbe? I get that you can equate Sanji and Zoro’s capabilities to that of Admirals but you are wrong to say “maybe” Jinbe is also at that level.
Remember, Luffy was able to rely on Jinbe to handle the remaining Navy and their Admirals in order to head out to Wano and battle Kaido and BM. He literally left Jinbe alone to clean up, while the bases were loaded.
Additionally, even Ace knew who Ninbe was during his imprisonment and asked Jinbe to look out for his kid brother.
Jinbe was once Commander level pirate with the BM pirates before leaving to join the Strawhats. And while he’s been with the Strawhats, his very presence has come at times when even Sanji and Luffy were getting rushed and slowed down in Wano. Not that Sanji needed the help, as per Sanji himself, but Jinbe’s water-bending(?) abilities sure came at the perfect moment.

1: The Yonko would willing go into a marine owned place, even if Admiral are there (WB, Kaido was coming to Marineford, Shanks, now even Sabo and technically Luffy. But the Gorosei and the Marines are terrified of angering even 1 Yonko (WB, Kaido, Shanks).
2: this fear the Gorosei showed for Kaido should be a buff to Shanks. If they feared Kaido so much they were considering not stopping the Nika bloom, that would perfectly explain how he could just pull up to Marineford and shut that whole scene down
3: Quick one - doesn't Greenbull's hands up stance remind anyone of Kizaru and Benny Beckman? Do we think Benny was flexing the Conqueror's at the end of Marineford?

im convinced tht yamato only has conquerers haki and thts it, which is understandable since she was locked up her entire life, not to mention who gonna teach her ? plus she has the basic conquerers haki not infusion so i guess she’s balanced w the rest of the crew, just my assumption and what i got from her screen time what yal think ?
She demonstrated conqueror's infusion against kaido.
She has the basic levels for the other hakis at least I believe. But her affinity and being kaidos daughter her conquerors is the most potent haki for sure. Fighting kaido all her life probably helped develop it.

the whole "not touching" is something that comes from advanced armament as Luffy confirms this near the end of his fight with Kaido. The reason why the "not touching" thing seems like a big deal with CoC is because for whatever reason, combining CoC with advanced armament seems to increase the range of the attacks.

Personally This chapter was hype but it’s only like a 7-7.5 for me. The pacing is just trash in these kinds of chapters as cool as they are.
