Congratulations Brad, you are one of my favorite Guitar players!!! This demo/lesson is fantastic! Is this lesson a part of a course? Is there also tab? where can I buy this complete course?
Thanks Brad for the instruction....I'm miles away from this, but still very interesting and nice of you to share with us noobies. Your skills are deep!
Thanks for the video. I've mainly been a rhythm player and finger-stylist rather than a soloist but if there is one style of lead playing I'd love to learn it would be this. Hopefully I can learn more about how to incorporate it into my playing.
Great lesson but I'd love it if he had run through a few of the things he was doing with his left hand. Anyone have any idea what he was doing from 0.46 to about 0.55? Sounded super cool.
Very nice brother, I’ve always heard it called Hybrid picking. Though it’s not used as often with acoustic as it is with electric guitar, it’s definitely got its uses and applications even with Bluegrass/classic Country.
This is great stuff man. About time someone did lessons without dumbing them down too much. Thank!
Real nice sounds and you're a great teacher. Communicates the simplicity of it. Thank you.

It's been 17 years. Good at it yet?
Lol...nope, not nearly enough practice.
Dude, you rock. Thanks for the effort you have put into your videos. A lot of talented people don't have the patience to make the leap to teaching.
I have watched several vids here trying to figure this chickin thing out. After watching this, I believe I can learn it. Thanks SO much for sharing!
That was beautiful
Brad you have just inspired me to play flatpicking bluegrass :-) Thank You

Great demo and great style;)5 Stars yeha Chicken pickin lickin good;)
I think the picking part is relatively self explanatory. How do you learn the notes? That's what I want to know. Probably along with everyone else.
