Soooo crazy!!! My grandparents took my aunts to Las Vegas in 1957 and saw its construction. I managed to make the drive to catch the demolition. It was an emotional moment since I went there a lot in the 90's. Last stay was January 2019 and last visit this past March before it closed. Goodbye old friend. 🧡

vedas is no-longer vegas and has not been in a very long time. it's just one big carnival. i have not been back in over 25-years and will never be back, it is sickening what they did to vegas.

I can’t believe a casino is being replaced by a baseball stadium. Bringing sports to LV will be forever one of the worst ideas in Las Vegas history.
It's working well with the Knights. And I guess the Raiders are at least financially good. I just don't know if the MLB is more popular than the NBA to gather fans more regularly. The problem may be the urban planning regarding traffic to those events.

I remember the mini zoo and the huge python in display which attracted many visitors.A bit later the Rick Thomas magic shows and that very big swimming pool

There's another one almost exactly the same identical in slc Utah.
The Trop will be rebuilt.
Its just such downgrade and an embarrassment to bring a BASEBALL in place of a casino and then a team from Oakland. Its not even a world popular sport.🙈
