Tom Scott did a good video where he went into zero gravity and I believe made a good point that even failing is a result, it might not be the result you wanted, but it gets society one step closer to the truth
I used to think the exact same thing until it happened to my 6 month old daughter, it really is a "you only learn after the mistake", CPR 12+ times a day on your own 6 month old just hours after the 6 month well baby visit.

Darragh is clearly a well spoken very smart man but he showcases the personality of someone who just simply calls anyone who disagrees with him a “congenital idiot” . For the record, I agree with everything said here but I’ve seen TikTok’s where he just doesn’t really seem like a nice man. He’s not mature enough to ignore online trolls and spends some of his time actively arguing and getting caught up in the concoction of anger and hatred online and he adds to it. If he would just ignore it rather than saying we “have to laugh at these congenital idiots” I would have had some respect for him
All I'll say about the vaccine stuff is, there are a lot of people who were/are skeptical not about vaccines in general but, the covid vaccine specifically.
The vaccine, I think the issue people had like myself was that it takes years to make a vaccine work, with testing and so on. But somehow we got one in a few months if that. Think thats what people were worried about. But not gonna lie, my immune system has weakened ever since getting the vaccine.
I completely agree with Darragh on vaccines. However I do think the recent one is more interesting than the rest. Not taking any credit away from it or anything. I've heard from family that 1 person in particular mysteriously passed away the day after taking it. She had no health problems and was in her 30s. I'm also not sure what the cause of death was, so it's possible it could've been natural causes. Still interesting nonetheless.
When it comes to Vaccines, lets not get all nasty about any of this. I am allowed to make a choice, it is my right and my choice is, I won't get it. Both sides are just as bad as each other, you cannot force anyone or condemn someone for their decisions. I am not an idiot, I am a smart person, that made a decision. Vaccines have become political, thats why some don't take it like me. All of a sudden, its because we are idiots? I don't care how smart Darragh is, I am entitled to a choice and I don't appreciate being called an idiot because I don't believe in vaccines. They have become political- not because I don't think they work, they can save lives but they also caused alot of segregation and people calling each other names for not getting it even for valid reasons. He may have a point, but call me an idiot for making a choice, is not on. Many people are smart.
It's not about you. If you're unvaccinated, you have a greater risk of catching the virus and a greater risk of passing it on to others. Some of whom are vulnerable and may be killed by the virus. A death you could have prevented by being vaccinated.
I don't think Darragh was calling people idiots simply for not taking vaccines, but for blindly believing influencers on the internet who have no medical or scientific expertise, while being completely closed off to genuine evidence. On the other hand I would say that humans care about politics, but viruses don't. So you have to weigh the importance of making a political message, against preventing disease and death in the vulnerable population. There is something perverse about humans allowing themselves to die of an afflication that they possess the "cure" for.
