@@rollaroyce747 they sometimes ask for a receipt with the order number and items...little trick if they do ask for it, tell them you put it in the bin outside, is it possible to get the guy what empties the bin to open it up as I don't want put my hands in there touching stuff and it's quite embarrassing (they without fail refuse to let you go through the bins) always works man! the busier the place is at the time, is always golden as everyone is rushing around panicking, messing up orders/replacing orders, I find it a lot easier when its busier

Ngl I work in McDonald's in UK and if a customer said you forgot my large fries or Drink then Its literally store policy to just give the customer it no questions asked. Try to go when it's busy tho so people are rushing and they can't be bothered to check.
I was in a McDonaldβs the other day waiting for my food and I saw the guy at the drive through tap on the window and say they forgot his fries. I watched the workers check and openly say amongst themselves βhe didnβt order any friesβ still gave the guy fries lol
@@chichim2020it really depends on how busy they are, if they are busy then you could just walk straight up to counter and say they forgot something
@@chichim2020 That doesn't matter, they could've forgotten to pack it. The only thing that might not work is if it's quiet in there, they might remember that they haven't seen your face or done a large order recently.

I started a startup and with funds being tight, I was trying to do the conference thing without spending $2k per ticket. I did one conference that was $3k to attend, but turned up to ticket collection day and grabbed a lanyard and it looked like I was getting my ticket/ badge. I made sure a lot of people saw me too, introduced myself loudly to a few people, security saw me etc. The conference was at a hotel and I spent the whole 3 days there, had my lanyard hanging out of my suit jacket pocket and no one questioned it. I was invited to people's tables for the dinner events and even ended up at the after party after the main keynote with all of the hosts! I was so skint I relied on the sponsors events in the evening and invites I'd blagged during the day to get any food for the day! Must have saved myself about 5k on that trip. ππ

I had a full on 20 minute arguement on the phone to a takeaway thinking they forgot my nuggets they brought me them in the end, and I realised they were in the same bag as my samosas ππ
I did this and ended up getting a free dessert delivered as an apology only to discover I was wrong π π π

I was in drive thru In mcds other day, ordered plain cheeseburgers and chips got them with everything on so drove back round told them of mishap and they refused the food back because covid and gave me another two burgers with extra chip so I had 4 burgers and 3 fries for 3quid! That's a good hack I discovered. So regardless of what you get now just say it's wrong from what you ordered and you get 2 meals for 1
@@alltime5244 What backward part of the world do you live in that doesn't have 4 in 1 style takeaways? Where I live you can get a thing called a munchy box which is basically a pizza box filled with all sorts of stuff, every shop does them slightly different but usually they are a mix of kebab, pakora, chips, chicken nuggets, samosas goujons and all other sorts of stuff all in the one box.

The McDonads trick kinds happend to me once. We was in Bay 1 and my mum checked our food wrong and thought we were missing a large fries and i think a cheeseburger so she asked for them and they came back with the food, we got home and she realised that we did in fact still have the fries.

I used the to that macas trick when I was a like 15 fifteen years ago and it usually works everywhere unless you get a loves his job manager and asks what time did you come in, receipt if U have one or licence plate if you went through drive threw so they can check video time..

Iβve worked in 3 hotels in the past 3 years so I can help a little I feel. Always pick bigger hotels, less of a chance people realize they donβt recognize you. My hotel now has 53 rooms and i at least vaguely remember every guest until they leave. Pick a corporate hotel like holiday inn, sleep inn etc. My resort gives out bright wristbands to guests because of us being a literal beach resort and we already are busy enough before the people that donβt pay. Very rarely do us small resorts give out free nights or fully refund, there has to be a big issue. I worked at a Sleep Inn and a Country Inn and the corp offices gave those out Willy nilly. Always be overly nice when you walk in. We hate people who complain and get mad over small things off the jump. If you walked into me at the desk and were overly nice and asking baseline questions, Iβll genuinely not give a fuck what you do on property because we rarely get nice people.

as someone who works in hotel reception, this realy pisses me off. Some people just conplain to get discounts or something for free, insalt workers and make their difficult.

Every time I've been to a hotel in the last 10 years I was asked for my room no. at breakfast. Also nowadays you can't normally even use the lifts without a key card.

Top trick to get free food or drink at Pret. Go in while old people or emergency services are in there. If the staff see you letting a senior or paramedic skip ahead of you in the queue they will give you freebies or a discount.

The only problem with this is, hotels do this as they don't want to harass their guests, the idea is they trust and are nice to their guests so they come back, but the more people that do this it breaks the trust, so you are kind of breaking the system, it will end up with hotels having to check everyone's receipts, you end up creating a world with no trust where every receipt/pass gets checked. But companies account for these losses even if it people scamming them, because its better to trust the customer even if they are lying, but once it happens enough they end up having to have fraud/scammer departments to catch people out.
H10 in London asked for everything. I almost had to give a blood sample for breakfast.

I worked abroad for a few summers and we always did the breakfast trick so many people in and out of hotels the staff have zero clue who's staying there.
Fault on their behalf but shame on you. Just pay for things. No need to lie to get things. Just idiotic. If you owned somewhere am sure you wouldnt like having to pay ur wages for free for other people's breakfasts. A guarantee you would hate it

Then just leave after the loo. Spend a good few minutes in the loo. Theyβll not notice you leaving.
