Hi Ariana! I use Wooden Wick Co. products as well, and they are wonderful! Just a side note, there is a little wick measuring tool on the wick bag so you don’t have to use a ruler. It’s way easier!
OMG!! Pouring down the stick! I've been cleaning fragrance up for the past month! I think I even knew this trick and completely forgot about it! Thanks for the reminder! :)
Thank you for the video. I have been experimenting with the coconut apricot creme the last week or so, and so far I love everything. Thank you for the discount code I'm going to get myself a couple of the fragrance sample kits as I think their oils are some of the best. You are always a delight to watch
Just been on their website and Instagram and they are stylish company. That Creme Wax looks delightful. the containers are so special and even the wicks look different to any I have ever seen. Stunning!
Ecosoya Q210 is the best and Safest Soy Wax to use for Candles, Melts & also it’s the only one Used In Body Products. The candle burns evenly and adheres to any surface, has a exceptional Hot & Cold Scent throw, easy small pellet form for weighing, No sink holes arise, Double Boiler melting is best - Don’t Microwave. Wooden wicks work amazing in this Wax as well. Iv used this Wax in my business for the the past 7yrs, it’s the only Soy Wax Dermatology Tested Safe for all Skin Types & makes Gorgeous Massage Candles. Also I add Beeswax to my Candles & Melts as Beeswax helps keep the ions away that cause allergies, hayfever and helps my customers with respiratory problems enjoy Candles & Melts like everyone else
If I may suggest instead of pouring your fragrance with a stick, use a pipette. Fill the pipette with the fragrance oil, and place it against the opening as you did with the stick. The advantage is that as you reach your desired weight, you stop pouring and finish off with the fragrance in the pipette.
Wonderful video! I bought supplies to make candles from wooden wick as well! I have the aura vessels and used the crackle boost wick in 0.03 at .5in and it seemed like the flame was pretty high even though thats the wick that was suggested on the site to use. Do you find the same thing? I'm using the beeswax cocoa creme wax as well. Edit: sorry I see now at the end of the video the candles burning. The flame does look bigger with the beeswax coco creme on yours as well but I suppose its not too bit of a flame. Im also using the golden glam tins and it just seems like the flame is too big for that vessel but the wick they say to use is the same size as the aura vessels.
Also, another note...you have to pour the wax at a hotter temperature into the vessel so there are no dips or surface issues on the tops. I heat my wax to 190F, add fragrance, stir and pour into vessels at 175F. Super smooth tops every single time!
Ariane Arsenault yes, I was talking about the waxes from Wooden Wick Co. specifically the Virgin Coconut Soy, and the Coco Apricot Creme. I heat those to 190F, and pour into vessels after stirring, at about 170F. I never have to use a heat gun because my tops are always perfect! It was just a suggestion to save you some time with a heat gun 😉
such a good video!! i know it has nothing to do with you, but I'm really confused as to why they used the English Apricot rather than the French Abricot in the name though!! they seem to be shooting for French so the English was baffling lol
I love your soap making videos! And~~~~ candles too 💕 I wondering When I use heat gun after my candle looks old or expired(?) looks like.. I don't know why.. I only use 100% Soy Wax.. Do you know any idea? Thank you so so much!! Your lovely videos🙏
Hi Ariane, thank you for this video! I checked the WWCo and they do not have the wood wick clipper / cutter you use. Could you please tell me where you purchased your wood wick clipper? I’ve found that my regular wick cutters often do not make a clean cut and can sometimes split a wood wick. I would greatly appreciate a response. Thank you in advance! Bright blessings to you.
Hello, it is a nice video. I am just wondering. Why so many people use not visible through containers for making candles. It is such a trend. I know that these containers are often nice from the outside, but isn’t it a pitty that the light from candle isn’t that visible, spreading into the room? I am just thinking if you even enjoy such candle. Thank you for your ideas and opinion on that :) Lucie
I would like to know what the number of the crackling wicks are,for example if I choose the .03 in the sample, will it make more sounds than the .04. What is the difference between them? Hope you can answer my question. Thank you!
Hi there. Would you by any chance know why would my wax (bees wax) clack split around wooden wick after first burn? It happens all the time Also wax doesn’t stick to the container walls. Wax shines too much. And I tried to preheat containers. Not sure what to do
I ordered the wick testing kit and the wicks don’t work :/ they just burn out or get drowned out and I’ll have to pour out wax to TRY to keep it lit. I’ve tried different jars. :(
Hello, Because of this video i placed 2 separate orders and received my order yesterday. Unfortunately you guys did not package neither 1 of my orders correctly because i am missing part of both my orders and yall email is saying 4-5 business days. Some people dont have that type of time to wait. This is unacceptable. First impressions are everything and yall have left the wrong impression with me.
I do not sell or represent the @WoodenWick. Also I would like to add that like everyone else, they are being impacted by covid and it unfortunately slows down everything. I have had an order arrive from the Wooden Wick in the past with the wrong sized wicks. I emailed them and they immediately corrected by sending me what I had initially ordered. Mistakes happen. Please contact them to resolve this issue. Thank you
Hi, these are great products, but I have to say that I am really frustrated with their customer service. I haven't received one complete order and when I email to ask them if the items missing from the shipment will be sent separately, or later or were they just inadvertently missed when packing the order, I get a generic email response that doesn't answer my question. I have placed two orders (one large) and both have had the same issue. How am I supposed to offer these to the retailers that sell my candles if I can't rely on getting the supplies for the candles, and worse can't even get an answer so that I can communicate to the retailers when they can expect the product?
@@l.a.intexas7649 I’m sorry, I just saw this! I still haven’t gotten it! Omg I posted on her IG account this morning and they asked to please DM them. I did and no response yet... hope you had better luck!

I have no clue how yours stayed lit for so long I made a trial candle to test out the wick and my candle was lit for barely five seconds before going out Honestly, it was a huge disappointment especially after waiting two weeks longer for my package than I was supposed to 😔😔
Maybe you didn’t use the right wick/wax/container combinations or maybe your wick wasn’t trimmed short enough? If you have other woodenwicks, you can pull the one that doesn’t work out and replace with another one and test burn until you find the correct combo ☺️
Winner of a video, I have been researching "too much fragrance oil in candle" for a while now, and I think this has helped. So glad I found your video. You have provided with information I have been so desperately trying to get from the supplier. 🤦🏽♀️

Did each candle use all of the wax block you cut up?
Thank you for sharing! I didn’t see you pour wax over the wooden wicks. I know some makers do that and was wondering your thoughts ?
I ordered $400.00 worth if products from the wooden wick co. The 10% did not work for me 😕

I would like to know what the number of the crackling wicks are,for example if I choose the .03 in the sample, will it make more sounds than the .04. What is the difference between them? Hope you can answer my question. Thank you!
I found the .03 makes more noise then the .04. I've always used a little lemon juice and it seems to lessen the sounds it produces.

What was the burn time on the aura vessel e.g. how long do last
Will bamboo work as a wick
Fantastic! Love your videos ❤️
I purchased some of these wicks from Michaels. And I use plain beeswax. How do I get my candles to stop cracking?
Beeswax tends to crack in container candles. It’s in its nature!
Hello, what percentage of fragrance did you use in the virgin coconut soy?
most recommend 8 to 9% for the coconut soy.
Hi! What is the name of your heat gun? Thank you for sharing!
Hello, do you mind letting us know what percent did you us with the virgin coconut soy wax? Thank you
what is the height of the wick used in the coconut soy? 5 inches? or 3? Thanks
@ArianeArsenault
How does that stick measure the fragrance oil? Or are you just eye balling it?
I weighed all my ingredients on a scale. The stick simply helps to fragrances to not spill everywhere when poured.
I ordered the wick testing kit and the wicks don’t work :/ they just burn out or get drowned out and I’ll have to pour out wax to TRY to keep it lit. I’ve tried different jars. :(

What fragrance did you use in the beeswax
Did this company change their name?

Hello Ariane Arsenault how are you? do i could use wood spoon or metal spoon for candles making?
I would advise using metal or silicon, wood can hold on fragrance.
