I'm just picturing Thanos going to extreme lengths to fill up the gauntlet _as_ the fight happens because Bowser starts out too strong for him, slowly gaining the upper hand with each stone until at the last second Bowser finds a way to achieve Dreamy Bowser form again and it's that against Thanos with the full gauntlet

Not only is Thanos faster but the Gauntlet's erasure is far beyond what Bowser has shown to survive or go against and does so by erasing your body, mind, soul and can manipulate concepts. The Dream Stone grants Bowser: Existence Erasure, Dream Manipulation, Sleep Manipulation, and Absorption. Which Thanos resists and doesn't prevent Bowser getting erased and not even prevent him getting defeated normally as Mario and Luigi blatantly demonstrate just hitting him enough removes the Dream Stone power from him.

"So long, Thanos !" -Bowser, taking revenge for having been spun around countless times by Mario in Mario 64 (don't think I don't see that Mario 64 Bowser Arena in the track art) I'd say this is an unusual matchup but it actually isn't that surprising. It's unconventional for sure tho. And so is the song itself. I mean, it's pretty much what you'd expect from such a matchup, just made into something more "potent" than one would expect. It's much in the image of the matchup itself to be honest: pretty much "dumb fun" but made into a song. It's a very cool and intense rock track fit for two villains fighting one another. I do like the fact that it keeps a slightly upbeat tone throughout most of its duration to reflect Bowser's side of things, of course the whole song feels villainous but more so the cartoony type of villain. And it even fits Thanos to an extent given that the guy's had his fair share of wacky things happen to him in his story (IE: being arrested by cops and flying a regular helicopter named after him, among other things). Honestly, this track feels a lot like a Paper Mario or Mario and Luigi track and I really like it for that, feels like having a Thanos bossfight in one of those two games, only that you're playing as Bowser instead of Mario (and Luigi). So to that extent I don't really mind that the whole track feels somewhat repetitive without any real standout point: the whole entire track has a very constant intensity and power to it that's notable in of itself, meaning that it doesn't really need dedicated standout parts to be good and unique-sounding. And of course it also emphasizes that "video game soundtrack" feel I noted above. Another thing that I appreciate about the track is that it has a quite "twisted nobility" feel to it at points similar to what Devil in Spades had. It's hard to explain but a lot of its segments (IE: 2:03-2:26) have this distinct feeling as if they're trying to be "noble classical" segments but end up feeling very antagonistic and, well, twisted in an evil way which gives them that feeling fitting of two evil "kings" fighting one another so that's a great side to the song too. Overall this whole song is quite interesting in how it's done. As said above it doesn't really have any standout points but its entire structure is full of personality and fitting traits. So much so that I'm sure that I missed a ton of details that someone more familiar with Mario games and Marvel comics would otherwise recognize. But even then I fully recognize that it's a nice song, sure some people may say that "it doesn't fit the OST the characters are associated with" (and even then I'd disagree because it feels quite fitting at least for Bowser (IE: the organ is present) but as a whole it completely fits the character and is a generally appreciable song to listen to with quite a bit of depth to it. It's not revolutionary but it doesn't need to be as what it does is more than enough to make it interesting and likeable. Amazing job as always with this.

Composite Bowser and you have one hell of a fight here. If its just normal bowser vs normal thanos vs normal Bowser, Thanos claps with medium difficulty. Thanos with the stones vs Bowser with his dream stone is close but I’d still argue Thanos.

@@Annihilate0405 Can Bowser kill Thanos before Thanos oneshots him? Bowser has heavy cartoon feats but the gauntlet can basically nullify almost everything Bowser has. Bowser has the ability to just.. erase Thanos, however I’m pretty sure the gauntlet grants Thanos immunity to existence erasure. The Dream Stone is theoretically capable of anything, but the infinity stones/gems if you wanna grant Thanos those have just shown way better feats, so i’d say Comp Thanos high difficulty.
If Dreamy Bowser from Mario and Luigi dream team is factored into this fight you could have this fight begin by having Thanos pursue Bowser because he wants to add the Dream Stone to his Infinity Gauntlet. And keep in mind this would be main Earth 616 Thanos and in that continuity more infinity Gems like Deadpool’s continuity stone and in some other marvel universe there are more Infinity Gems then the usual number. So you could easily have Thanos assume the Dream Stone is simply another Infinity Stone or Gem he hasn’t heard of before
Not gonna lie, knowing what I do know, I’d love to see Dreamy Bowser (powered by the Dream Stone) or maybe Castle Bowser (fused with castle and powered via Wonder Flower) against Thanos as the final clash. :3
Bowser thrashes the fuck out of MCU Thanos, it really depends on which version is used. even against Thanos from the comics he'd put up a fight. I could see the battle being them fighting to have the gauntlet rather than specifically kill each other

This honestly is a top 10 commission track for me, heck maybe even top 5. I absolutely love this track. The instruments are an excellent choice for a matchup like this and they blend so well together.

@@sptflcrw8583 If you do a full composite Bowser, he can tank a black hole, punch a castle into orbit, eat the Dreamstone to gain semi-omnipotence, use the Star Rod to be invincible, fight in his base form against Mario and Luigi after they had grown a LOT after beating Dreamy Bowser, and use a fusion of standard Bowser and paper Bowser to use Shiny Robobowser, adopt the Fury form, wield the weird Pixl powers from Super Paper Mario, and do whatever the deal with Wonder is. Also, time travel from the Yoshi's Island games. And as for the Gauntlet, he can have an inventory of Life Mushrooms from Super Paper Mario, letting him come back from death like 10 times.
This track goes as hard as it should for a matchup this awesome! I'm actually giving it to Bowser if he has access to everything like the Dream Stone, Star Rod, and Pure Hearts.

I'm sorry to come off as antagonistic but bowser vs ganon was horribly wrong. The deathbattle research team itself declared the episode a unanimous bowser sweep (same thing happened with dante vs bayonetta) with him taking almost every stat before the episode aired. Then there was the crap like mentioning bowser surviving a black hole only to go "magic lava" and a fall to beat him. And then you had ganon being nlf'd to hell and back.
Tbh I can see either Bowser OR Thanos winning this duel, they have so many feats as well as different powers in their upgraded forms from the Infinity Stones to the Dream Stone it’s basically a almost-endless duel.

@The_Green_Annoyance no it doesn't. First of all, there's only one relevant version of each. 616 Thanos, and Game Bowser. No one cares about MCU Thanos or Movie Bowser. Secondly, it is extremely clear cut. Even if you give Bowser everything he's ever had, and give Thanos absolutely nothing, Thanos still stomps. It's not close at all.
Obviously, this is very one-sided, but Paper Bowser would have been unstoppable if he actually knew how to use the star power in the first game to its full potential. I mean, he literally had wish powers!

In order for the Infinity Gauntlet to work, Bowser would have to be coming into the Marvel universe, perhaps experimenting with invading other worlds for an edge against the Mario Bros. He’d be in for a HFIL of an uphill battle against all of Marvel’s heroes and/or villains, but perhaps Thanos is just the one he happened across first.
Dreamstone and orbital punch vs. instakill that requires snapping If it's the MCU Thanos, Bowser takes it because of the ridiculous scaling from punching a castle around the world in a universe where the main character's power scaling is about jump power, which means that in Mario, speed scales with strength, and therefore Bowser is too fast for Thanos to see. Comics Thanos wouldn't even notice Bowser's attacks WITHOUT the Infinity Gauntlet. When he finally noticed, he would flick Bowser away with one finger.

Composite Bowser and you have one hell of a fight here. If its just normal bowser vs normal thanos vs normal Bowser, Thanos claps with medium difficulty. Thanos with the stones vs Bowser with his dream stone is close but I’d still argue Thanos.

@@Annihilate0405 Can Bowser kill Thanos before Thanos oneshots him? Bowser has heavy cartoon feats but the gauntlet can basically nullify almost everything Bowser has. Bowser has the ability to just.. erase Thanos, however I’m pretty sure the gauntlet grants Thanos immunity to existence erasure. The Dream Stone is theoretically capable of anything, but the infinity stones/gems if you wanna grant Thanos those have just shown way better feats, so i’d say Comp Thanos high difficulty.

If Dreamy Bowser from Mario and Luigi dream team is factored into this fight you could have this fight begin by having Thanos pursue Bowser because he wants to add the Dream Stone to his Infinity Gauntlet. And keep in mind this would be main Earth 616 Thanos and in that continuity more infinity Gems like Deadpool’s continuity stone and in some other marvel universe there are more Infinity Gems then the usual number. So you could easily have Thanos assume the Dream Stone is simply another Infinity Stone or Gem he hasn’t heard of before

This honestly is a top 10 commission track for me, heck maybe even top 5. I absolutely love this track. The instruments are an excellent choice for a matchup like this and they blend so well together.

@@sptflcrw8583 If you do a full composite Bowser, he can tank a black hole, punch a castle into orbit, eat the Dreamstone to gain semi-omnipotence, use the Star Rod to be invincible, fight in his base form against Mario and Luigi after they had grown a LOT after beating Dreamy Bowser, and use a fusion of standard Bowser and paper Bowser to use Shiny Robobowser, adopt the Fury form, wield the weird Pixl powers from Super Paper Mario, and do whatever the deal with Wonder is. Also, time travel from the Yoshi's Island games.
And as for the Gauntlet, he can have an inventory of Life Mushrooms from Super Paper Mario, letting him come back from death like 10 times.

I mean, Bowser is Bowser, but...this is THANOS we're talking about here. It would be like Bowser fighting Ganondorf again, but this time Ganon has the whole Triforce backing him up.
I'm sorry to come off as antagonistic but bowser vs ganon was horribly wrong.
The deathbattle research team itself declared the episode a unanimous bowser sweep (same thing happened with dante vs bayonetta) with him taking almost every stat before the episode aired.
Then there was the crap like mentioning bowser surviving a black hole only to go "magic lava" and a fall to beat him.
And then you had ganon being nlf'd to hell and back.
Tbh I can see either Bowser OR Thanos winning this duel, they have so many feats as well as different powers in their upgraded forms from the Infinity Stones to the Dream Stone it’s basically a almost-endless duel.

@The_Green_Annoyance no it doesn't. First of all, there's only one relevant version of each. 616 Thanos, and Game Bowser. No one cares about MCU Thanos or Movie Bowser. Secondly, it is extremely clear cut. Even if you give Bowser everything he's ever had, and give Thanos absolutely nothing, Thanos still stomps. It's not close at all.

It’s not one sided if you don’t give Thanos the Infinity Stones. Which he shouldn’t have since that’s not standard equipment. For the majority of his showings he doesn’t have any of them. People just give him the Stones because they don’t know anything about Thanos beyond the Infinity Saga

Bit one sided, pretty sure that the world would beat those other two.
In order for the Infinity Gauntlet to work, Bowser would have to be coming into the Marvel universe, perhaps experimenting with invading other worlds for an edge against the Mario Bros.
He’d be in for a HFIL of an uphill battle against all of Marvel’s heroes and/or villains, but perhaps Thanos is just the one he happened across first.

If it's the MCU Thanos, Bowser takes it because of the ridiculous scaling from punching a castle around the world in a universe where the main character's power scaling is about jump power, which means that in Mario, speed scales with strength, and therefore Bowser is too fast for Thanos to see.
Comics Thanos wouldn't even notice Bowser's attacks WITHOUT the Infinity Gauntlet. When he finally noticed, he would flick Bowser away with one finger.
