Just here to say that i love your youtube shorts keep it upp Larry
Hey Larry ❤ from the uk bro
Larry does all the scaring without all the yelling. Sometimes people just need a good talk.
@@LarryLawtonJewelThief yeah Larry I wish you could help me get some people wipped into shape if I needed your help man
Facts
Yeah I dont understand it, especially when some of the kids there are doing it because "He stole a cookie from the cookie jar" type shit
That may work for some people, but most of the people like these kids would just have all of that info and minor scare tactics phase right through them.
For example, how many “naughty” kids at school would literally laugh after being threatened with the likes of strikes on their record or being shipped off to juvie or something? Most children, especially bad ones, are just simply unable to have a solid grasp on their own reality or gravity of the consequences to their actions, so showing a firm and extreme hand would probably work best in these scenarios.
Facts
This show would be amazing if they had politicians instead of kids
Now tha😀t I would love!
I agree
@@LarryLawtonJewelThief It’d just be crooks scaring other crooks.
I certainly know which ones I think are worse.
Hell yes
@@papaofthejohns5882 Yeah but white collar criminals (which are most politicians) would curl up into a little ball if the folks who have violent charges against them are doing the flexing.
I love how there’s like
“I start fires”
“Im in a gang”
“I’ve committed mass genocide”
And then there’s like
“I shout at my mom”
YOU SHOUT AT YO MOMS??!
There also was some kid who was really good at hacking. Some of these seem questionable. I think the real problem are the lazy parents. If a kid's only problem is that they're disrespectful, they're okay. They don't need this program.
I ate all the chips when mom told me not to!
@@Oshidorinohina I don't if I ever did then my mom would back hand the absolute shit out with her rings on
@@shadedragneel5357 i shouted at my mom once but thats bc shes verbally and mentally abusive when she drinks
I completely agree.
I teach middle & high school. Kids have an insanely good BS reader and, especially in adolescence, most are tired of being treated like little kids. Adolescents want the respect of their peers and are differentiating from their primary caregivers. They want to work out their own moral compass and be respected/taken seriously. The more you do that, the more they'll listen to what you have to say. The more you increase volume, hostility, demands, etc, the more that child goes on the defensive. And when they go defensive, they're going to ignore what you have to say at best (either because you've become an unreliable source or because they're being traumatized) and escalate your energy (i.e. verbal to physical violence) at worst.
"I cant go in"
"Why cant you?"
"Because the door isnt open all the way"

“I don’t find any of this funny”
Also Larry about 10 times: “now this part I found funny”
Think he's talking about the screaming at the kids isn't funny. That isn't funny, but there are funny parts. Like how fucking stupid they all are and the dumb shit they say. Or trying to act hard when you know they aren't.
I literally read this comment n as I did he said I found this part funny🤣🤣🤣
The original "Scared Straight" filmed in the 1970s was closer to what you talk about what the program should be. More stories and discussions of how terrible life in prison is. There wasn't a whole lot of yelling and "In your face" shouting. There was some initially as an attention grabbing tactic. After the teens gave the prisoners the proper respect and attention, the discussions and stories became more focused. These programs that have been designed to emulate the original experience fall short, either because it is so staged that the experience is unbelievable, or the actual interactions that could have better impact on the kids is lost because the hosts of the programs spend so much time trying to emotionally/physically break or torment the kids. Eventually the kids just check out mentally and simply go through the motions to complete the program so they can get their "Certificate of Completion" for the judge. The most impactful parts for most of these kids during the course of the show are the programs that provide more 1 on 1 time with inmates and less time with scares and staged incidents.
Side note: The episode that featured that last girl is one of the most edited episodes within the entire series in regards to the interactions between the deputies and the teens. At one point during the episode, the deputies find themselves in a filming blind spot during the peak of the girl's nonsense and craziness. Eventually she is surrounded by roughly half a dozen deputies, (standing in a location within the parking structure ensuring that only their legs are visible) and after a very hard edit/cut, she is suddenly compliant and emotionally broken. She appears to have some kind of moisture on her face around her mouth as well as another unknown substance. There is no evidence or proof, simply my own observations and opinion, but I do believe that they washed that teen's mouth out with either powdered or liquid soap due to her use of profanities and other colorful things that she had said directed at the deputies.
Not condoning it or the deputies if it is true, just making an observation about the show and how shady the entire series really was.
At the end of the day you are right. These kids don't need the "Fear of God" put into them. They need serious professional help and counseling that will assist them with their anger and other issues.
That's true, I do remember that. This is way more over the top.

I'm pretty sure that further research into the effects of this scared straight idea suggested that it was not only ineffective, but may actually increase the risk of incarceration later in life.
I believe that.
I'm no expert but I would think this would just make the kids grow up with an even stronger resentment towards authority
Yeah, but if it makes the broadcaster money what do they care? They'll put rainbow flags on TV and talk about BLM, and put out shows like these under the guise of setting kids straight, but they wanna amp up the tension and fear to get ratings and the ceo of that broadcaster would send his own grandmother to that prison if he thought that that was what people wanted to see.
@@LarryLawtonJewelThief Let me ask you then Larry, you said you were doing break ins as a kid, so what would have stopped your life of crime, prior to doing heavy time?
@@LarryLawtonJewelThief The heavy set little kid who was crying to his grandmother was actually shot and killed on the streets shortly after his appearance on the show. His name was Franklin.
Totally agree Larry. My cousin had me set down and speak to her son when I first got out. I pretty much told him everything no sugar coating. I didn't scream and I didn't lie. Today he is a high school graduate and is one of the most respectful youngster you will ever meet.
The officer that jumped over the counter sadly passed away. I love these episodes when you go in detail about the reality, and how your could simply approach these kids differently and make a bigger impact.
Damn. The jump gave him a heart attack? That was a big table
Good riddance to that POS.
I would've loved to see him and that older cop get their badges stripped and put in prison, then see how tough they are against adult inmates. Because I know those are the first kind of cops to abuse their authority with the badge.

I went with a small group of guys from my high school to the Oklahoma State Prison in McAlester on a scared straight program in 1988. A few prison trustees gave us the lowdown, but with limited yelling. Instead, we were given the unfiltered truth about prison life. We were brought onto the yard and convicts were yelling through the cell window bars at us describing each of us in detail and telling us what they'd like to do with each of us. We left the prison later that day and stopped at a mall. This was when McDonald's had their burgers on sale for 19 & 29 cents apiece. One of our guys ate 10 real fast and then threw up in JC Penney's lobby. The next day the prison was featured on the news for having a full-scale riot. Unbeknownst to me, my stepbrother was serving a dime for strong-arm robbery, and he was the one of the ones that started the riot. He said he threw a can of beans at a guard and hit him upside the head. He helped jumpstart another in '91. I ended up in federal prison many years for stupid drunk behavior. I since time stopped drinking and do not get into trouble anymore. Thank you for this very candid video!

I've never understood why people think making criminals (especially kids) feel like they are human garbage or like they are lesser because they made bad choices is going to cause them to make good decisions. You don't learn that way, and they won't either
tell it my friend!
Tell that to the military, pain creates a reminder and atleast for the military it works
@@GuideStoneActual It does work, but you shouldn't be doing the right things because you fear what happens when you don't. Using fear tactics to try and make people listen is woefully ineffective at getting people to make healthy choices in their lives
Yeah, but i guess in the military, especially if the unthinkable happens and a major war breaks out, they need to numb you to the pain and conditions. Think of the trenches in Europe, the jungles of Vietnam, the streets of Stalingrad, there's no escaping that, you adapt or you die. For all of the bad shit the Germans did, the way they trained their army became a model for the rest of the world.
But yeah, if we're talking about prison, absolutely need more compassion, because come out worse animals than when they went inside, numb to the pain, and we expect them to readapt to society when they come, and on top of all that accept rejection from most jobs they apply for.
@@The_Greedy_Orphan Ultimately, there isn't a lot the military can do to reshape your mental state. They're just really good at teaching you to shove it down. Though people in prison have vastly different experiences than those in the military, I hope we can both agree that both need much better treatment in and out of those systems.

I am so happy to see you bringing up that these kids need help and not this. I worked with kids in a hospital setting who had significant behaviors. All of them had been thro some terrible trauma. Your insight was awesom.
Notice the difference between certain prisoners in this show, some just wanna show off or push the kids around while a couple try to sit down and talk with the kids to prevent them from disregarding the freedom they have.
Tell me, who is the wiser. The many or the few?
usually the few. thanks
Yeah and the cops too. Some of the C.Os there seem like power tripping idiots
@@GaSapienza I wonder what aspects of that job appeal to people who don't have masculinity issues. I guess it's just the salary and perks, which seemed to attract Larry's mate Gary, who seems like a completely sane, respectable guy. Anyone who really wants that job is suspect in my book.
My father used to be the night shift supervisor at the local jail (until he was forced to retire after he suffered a minor heart attack), and we would occasionally meet former inmates when we were out somewhere together (usually when my dad took me with him to get groceries), and they would greet my dad like he was an old friend. My dad later explained to me that the way he ran the jail was that he would tell the inmates: "If you cooperate and don't give my people any trouble, then I will be more than happy to go out of my way to make your time here more bearable. But if you cause problems and don't cooperate, then I will make your time in here a living hell." And that philosophy worked. In fact, it worked so well that even corrections officers who did not like my dad still requested to have their shifts when my dad was in charge. When people who don't even *like* you would still prefer to have you as their supervisor, then you are clearly doing *something* right.
My grandfather had a similarly effective philosophy during his time as a police officer, where his response to dealing with drug addicts was to offer them help to overcome their addiction and to *not* punish them with jail time if they would identify their dealers. And it worked, and it nearly eradicated the drug trade from our town entirely. Until he left the police force and his replacement was dumb enough to do away with that policy, and before long the drug trade began to start growing again. Sadly, my grandfather passed away from cancer in his early 60s, way back in 1996 when I was only 8 years old, so I have very few memories of him. Nowadays about all that I can remember about him is that every time I saw him, he'd give me a dollar.

Agreed. A lot of kids with problems already have very bad attitudes towards themselves, and the series shows treatment that will only further deteriorate their self image. When they find themselves worthless, they have far less concern about consequence and whether or not they go to jail.
LARRY! I love you, I've been watching you for about a year and your message is so obvious and so clear: treat inmates like human beings. In my country it's pretty good, but over there in the USA it's draconian, and disgusting. The punishment should be the loss of time and presence in society, not prison guards having unchecked power over you like you're not even human. Keep up these videos, I watch every one! I find the Scandinavian approach to prison to be interesting.
People often want retribution and vengeance and "justice", not rehabilitation. If you treat a murderer like the unwilling participant in a human experiment like the US and many others, it might feel good for the victims family and friends to know they're miserable but it doesn't address the problem, if anything it just makes the offender more violent, to meet other more violent people or join a gang and they emerge from prison exactly the same person or worse.
Rude he ignored mine
It makes me very happy to see a tough guy preaching positivity about what those kids really need instead of fear
Yep
True
I can't commend you enough for educating people on how grossly ineffective and potentially damaging the scared straight programs have always been. The fact that they are still used shows what a long way we have to go in understanding criminal behavior in young people. As a person who has living my life dealing with depression till this vary day, I feel really really for all those young people. Sometimes all that they wanted were just some attention. Just like me. I never get back the love I've got and felt when I was young after my parents divorced. From that day , my life was drifting far far away from what I used to. A happy and talkative kid to a teenage with many problems, mainly the used of drug. Yes I knew that the drug lifestyle was never done good and I hope nobody fall to that life. First time I took it is just to treat the suffer, the loneliness, the miss of my parent and the love that they gave. After that become a drug addict.
Being caught several time during that time span. School , cops , other family member and many more .All they were doing were scream and blame me.. And that doesn't help at all. It make it worsen everytime. I said it because all that I've ever wanted at that time and this time is someone notice me. 17:35 made me tear up man, my ex has 2 kids from a previous relationship. I'm sterile (33) so I can't have kids, so I took her kids in with open arms (she had 1wk at a time) Anyway both her kids were the "odd kids" and so was I... so we bonded instantly. Even on weekends when she would give me the nudge to get everyone to bed (especially her) I'd literally complain that I wanted 30 more minutes with the kids haha. I had never wanted kids but we all just instantly bonded. First time in my life I ever felt that way.
Then, out of nowhere she seriously assaulted me with a weapon, now we aren't even legally allowed to talk. Last I heard she only had weekend visitation. Made me sad. They were such cool kids.
I don't pray much, but when they cross my mind I definitely save a few for them
Sorry to hear that bro damn
When the guard himself says “I don’t think this is gonna work out.” Means the motive behind the show isn’t rehabilitation but monetary aka money.
I think you got that totally wrong. He meant with that girl. They are trying to discourage the kids from doing bad things. I think bringing them in the jails are good. I think telling them horror stories are good. as soon as you go hard and yell those kids have opposition issues. I have that too... First thing that comes to my mind... Someone who yells doesn't have control. My brains tells me I then have the control. Its easy as showing you don't care and couldn't care less then those people yell louder. That's phase one.. phase two... You just start to humor the person yelling... that's when the famous phrase comes out... "Oh! so you think this is funny huh!". Then it keeps going. You never have a good end result going this route.
What? Lmao he was literally talking about that girl acting all crazy not giving a fuck “I don’t think this is gonna work out” implies that all this shit they’re doing to try & discourage these kids from getting locked up & to be better isn’t going to work with that girl because, as she stated herself, she does what the fuck she wants & nobody can tell her what to do 🤣

Big dragon and diabla were probably the only respectable convicts
*I've seen several of these shows, and this one is unique for one reason: it was shot in the Saint Clair County Jail in Illinois - I've been in there, and it's unlike any other jail I've sat in. The SCCJ was FAR worse than Rikers Island was, **_hands down!_** It was the only county jail that ever actually scared the crap out of me (and I've sat in around a dozen county jails across the country over the 1975-1995 period).*
*This jail is sectioned into Federal pods, State pods, and a local drunk tank (mixed drunks and dopers, mostly tweakers). I was in federal custody, but the fed pod was full, so they stuck me in a state cell with maybe 10 or 12 others. I got there around 5pm or 6pm, and saw a uniform exactly once between then and the next count. In the interim, a kid (maybe 20-25) with a big mouth bit off a lot more than he could chew, and a couple of the regulars went to town on him. He could have been dead for all the jail could have cared: he was on the floor unconscious and bleeding for several hours (till a uniform showed up to do the count). They counted, then came back maybe an hour later to drag him away: this was shocking behaviour for a jail! I was shitting bricks thinking I was going to be stuck in that shitshow, but I got lucky: a federal bed opened up before the next night in hell. Let me tell you, federal custody is a thousand times better than any State custody I've ever seen (except for Pueblo Colorado - Pueblo was **_really_** nice, and had **_amazing_** food!) - and I was fucking overjoyed to be transferred!*
*Besides the various horror stories from St. Clair, I noticed one other thing unusual. In the area where you can talk to your lawyers, they had the normal signs all over about what prisoner could and couldn't do, and what visitors could and couldn't do, but they had signes up specifically for the lawyers:*
*ATTENTION ATTORNEYS!*
*YOU AND YOUR CLIENT HAVE THE RIGHT*
*SHUT THE FUCK UP IN OUR PRESENSE!*
*I have never before or since seen a nasty sign aimed at the lawyers! St. Clair is different on so many levels!*
I really appreciate a point of view from somebody that's been there I think what you're doing is positive and it's very interesting just for someone like me who's never been in the system to learn about it and I agree just wanted to thank you Mr Lawton
As a social worker, I appreciate your thoughts about this show. Too many people view it as comedy without realizing how harmful this is to the children.
It has been about 20 years since my psych classes in high school and it's obvious to me that these shows are counterproductive.
Sure, the kids that are on that destructive path need to face reality before it's too late but there are far better ways to do that. Attracting more flies with honey than vinegar and all that.
But if they respected there parents, didn't drink and smoke, fight at 14 and stuff, they wouldn't of been in this place.
But the poor people who thought they were big and tough.
Be a normal fckn child.
Everyone is a hero on the net
I went when I was in high school first, it wasn’t bad at all. A lot of the guys were laughing and I even saw one of the drug dealers I knew with drugs in there shoe. Now I was a problem child and had to go a second time ( court order). The second time I was definitely scared straight! Till this day I have no charges or priors. I guess it depends on who you see when you get there. At the end the guys talk to you with sense and let you know they care and don’t want to see you get locked up. I personally think all kid should do this at a young age if they are problem children. Imo
@@zeerom8129 you think about what they did but never why they did it
you don't know how horrible their parents were
you don't know if there was peer pressure or force involved
They deserve it tho
Thanks for the insight Larry, I'm basically a square. Smoked a little weed in my day but that's about it. I thought this show was good for the kids. It's good to have another perspective
Only saying it like I see it
I agree with you 100% Larry. Yelling at a child like that would do more harm than good.
Glad I came across this channel I really like your videos
Instilling fear will give temporary results. Instilling respect will give you permanent success.
Damn, well said
doesn’t work like that all the time it’s so much easier to say that then actually do it
Teach them how to be strong and confident in a good way.
@@connor.. That's also kinda true, but yeah, one just has to take things in a case by case basis and be mature about it.
Larry is so chill and relaxed that you can see when he get angry he would be the scariest in the room
I love watching and listening to you review these shows Lar.
Yeah, my 2nd husband and me had years of problems with his daughter. She thought I was fake because I treated her with respect. But I knew she needed fairness and not abuse. 8 years later, she is doing great.
I feel that my dad really kept me from going down the same road as him, he did drugs, and a bunch of other crimes (he never was caught for alot of stuff) but before he passed I said that I would never go to jail, do drugs, drink or anything like that. Over a decade later I have kept that promise and in 3 months I am leaving to join the Armed Forces. I think it speaks that even if you make bad decisions in life, some people still manage to be good parents.
Damn
Yup
So how old are you now?????
congrats
"The only 2 people you're ever going to call when you're in trouble; your parents"
That line got me a little bit. Mine are Jehovah's Witnesses and I'm shunned by them for being an atheist :/ they actually changed all their phone numbers so I CAN'T call them. Still, good video Larry! Love what you do.
That's pretty sad man. Didn't know those people were that fanatic.
I work with two of them. Seems kind of like a cult to me
@@mikesendec3972 yea man there stuff out there you can look into.
seen quite a few people that grew up with them talk about it, they are fucking lunatics and they do not give A FUCK about ANYONE in their family not even their own children.
just look at this dude's comment, you'll hear that from anyone in his shoes.
hope you're doing well and have people in your life that care about you now Cads because you're not the first person ive heard that type of thing from, and from what ive heard it's a fucked up way to grow up.
@@lindziodowd8609 it is most definitely a cult, the only reason people don't see it is because it's based off of christianity/abrahamic religion
This is just straight up quality content with logic and heart! Subscribed and touring the uploads. 👌
Haven't seen you're channel in a while, great to see it getting more attention.
If anyone is wondering “Big Deuce” had a mistrial with the jury not coming to an agreement after 7 hours and his second trial he was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison with possibly of parole. He also lost his appeal.
That’s sad 😢
Larry tells people to knock it off with his eyes and body language. I need more of that. Personal stories and experiences seem to be the best way to get through to them.
You look like a raw version of penguinz0
If he's a nice, fried steak, you'd be a raw steak, just waiting to be burnt into a juicy, delicious steak, you know what im saying?
No I don't. Explain further please😂
I love your shirt, it’s exactly what I teach my eight year old boys. So important to be aware that we all make bad choices, some are forced to make really bad choices and that does not make a person
Love this channel! Can’t stop watching!
That guy who was talking to the kid about having to be in a room with another person while they are taking a dump is that kid’s older brother. Obviously, he made some bad choices, but it shows he’s not a bad person because he’s trying to teach his little brother right from wrong even now.
i am 15 and i was thrown in juvy for a "death threat" i never made. ive always had mental health issues but they have gotten worse since i got out. severe depression and anxiety, a psychotic disorder, and an addiction to smoking and s/h. since getting out, my behavior has only gotten worse due to the fact that my mental health is worse.
Bro hope you get better man
Hang in there dude. Get help if you can
It’s the weed man you gotta quit smoking your only 15 your hurting yourself, the longer you do it your depression will get worse and worse
@RED SKULL read the bible and do what exactly ? the man needs real help you telling him about story books
@RED SKULL start recommending therapy instead of religious beliefs okay bud. Alot of people actually struggle with religious trauma, I'm one of em. The bible and mentioning it, trying to use god as an example, ect: it's not good and it does more harm than good. Some people even go into religious psychosis. Very dangerous stuff.
always enjoy your videos! i LOVE that shirt!
I don’t know you Larry but I love and respect you. God Bless you. Would be wonderful to meet you and listen well to these life lessons. Never been to jail or even had a ticket. I’m 65 and I appreciate your influence on youth.
When i was in Juvie I found the ones that sat down and talked to me and told me there stories scarier then the one's that screamed. The conversations are they reason I went straight
Hell I was in Juvie back in the early 90's ( I was about 15 or so ) and the 1's who were to be scared of were the 1's who had a small crew walking around with them because they were always jumping folks. Didn't matter if they were the loud 1's or the quiet 1's, if shit is gonna pop off, it's gonna pop off regardless and it's usually the dudes that have a small crew with them, the " yes " boys as we would call them because they were scared to be by themselves so they figured " can't beat them, might as well join them ", the bad thing was it was me and another white kid that were the only 2 whites guys in a unit of about 40 dudes so we were always targeted but we never backed down, can't tell you how many times I had to defend myself and my cellmate because of that garbage. And what's not really shown is the fact that there's plenty of real life docs out there showing that the loud 1's always have a small crew with them when they're " scouting " a potential victim and fights are rarely, rarely 1v1, it's almost always 1 dude vs 5-6 other dudes and the 1 dude doesn't even have to do anything to provoke those other dudes, especially here in Ga. Folks in the system here will fuck you up so fast if they find out you don't know anyone in there because they see you as a " Guppy in a shark infested waters " and guess what, it's the loud 1's that do it, not the quiet 1's because the loud have nothing to lose, they're not worried about getting ward charges added to their time so it's kinda iffy on where you're at the depends on who is the most dangerous, so maybe where you're at it's the quiet 1's but here in Ga, it's the loud 1's because they truly don't care if they get added time.
Instilling fear so young hurts more then helps
yes. I agree and thanks for your support
Wtf how did you post this 19 hours ago
depends on the child either it could completely change them for the better or it could mess them up
How so ? genuinely curious. Do explain. You seem to know what you're talking about.

Larry, there’s one episode of this show, a girl named Keandra proves that you’re right that yelling at kids doesn’t work. The corrections officer yells at Keandra asking for her name and he gets in her face. Keandra’s all talking back sarcastically and hardens her heart all the while. She did go back to jail after giving the judge a hard time. Most of the other kids who’ve been on Beyond Scared Straight got lucky amidst being yelled at.
Lawton: "I find nothing about this funny."
*Later* "I find this a little funny."
Love the content man. Thank you!
We need to listen to these kids, learn why they do the things they do and educate them in the consequences of bad choices. I agree with you Larry, when you say that shouting in their faces isn't going to do anything - because all they're getting is noise and physical confrontation, the prisoners could be shouting anything and it won't matter if the kids are too scared to listen and process what's being said.
"Alot of these fellas around here, they scream and shout about how bad they are...Me im not like that, see i keep my voice real low, and calm, that way you have to stop and listen to me....And its alot nicer that way isent it?" -Jake Roberts.
You dont need to scream and act like a nutcase to get your point across. Its like you said, the quiet and calm ones, those are the scary people. They dont need to make a show, a big song and dance to get there point across. All you need is some respect, a few stories to hit your point home with, and most of all, calm. A wild person can control a room, a calm person can control the whole building...
Hey Larry, love your videos, I think you have a positive message out there to the young kids. I have a question, back in your robbery days, did you ever steal jewelry that was family heirlooms or sentimental to people or just jewelry stores? We recently had our stuff stolen from someone at the Fed Ex store. My Grandmother’s recently passed away and my uncle was sending us some of her stuff. Not sure how they knew the contents etc, but I wish she had just let that box alone. It wasn’t worth a lot of money worth of jewelry, but it was more meaningful to us kids.
I agreed with a lot of what you said ... 👍 ... hopefully your experience can help one young person out ... just one would be all worth it ... God bless
Exactly as Larry said- if someones yelling in your face, the last thing you're doing is sincerely thinking about what they're telling you... Embarrassing someone like that, especially a kid- isn't likely to clean up their act... It's more likely to make them bitter and resentful, if they weren't already from some other kind of childhood trauma. If someones broken, you don't try and break them more and hope it will fix them.
larry mocking the guards is quite hilarious actually
LARRY LAWTON. RSPECT TO YOU MY BROTHER 🤜🤛 .. GOD BLESS YOI AND YOUR JOURNEY. MAY YOU SUCCEED MORE AND MORE.. DAY BY DAY.. AND YOU'RE REAL ON.. WITH ALL DUE RESPECT.. YOUR THE MAN.
This was in my recommended and im glad it was. New sub
I remembered watching this back in the days. It's a good thing that the parents decide to show their troubled child what life in prison is like.
Dude getting rocked at 14:30 is still one of the funniest things I've ever seen 👏
That was phenomenal.
That's all I took away from the whole video. Also fuck 12
Nice pfp
The bit at !4:30 when old mate gets ko'd against the glass had me in stitches. lol
I'm mad I had to come this far down the comments to find someone talkin about that. Shit had me crackin tf up when I saw that shit 😂
Just stumbled across your channel and I love it! I am a recovering addict (clean and serene since 6/10/17!😄) And I did my fair share of time in and out of jail. Never been to prison luckily, especially with some of the shit I did but I felt the same way as you did watching these shows. For one, it's pretty inaccurate. I've never, out of all the different jails I have been to around here and out of the multiple times I went have I never had a bug group of people or even one person get all up on my face upon entry into the jail. Plus, I couldn't imagine acting the way some of these people do.
Man, you are on point with everything you said Larry. I'm a psychologist and have worked extensively with teens who have emotional/behavioral issues. I paused to type this when you were talking about the 13 year old, saying that there is "so much more to a kid like this..." I'm glad there are people like you that try to see the person beyond the behavior. For the past couple of months, I have watched and enjoyed several of your videos, but today I hit that Subscribe button
Larry is probably at his most intimidating when he's quieter.
Always be wary of the quiets one
Imagine him staring into your soul without saying a word
@@matthew_natividad while the loud man is yelling, the quiet man is thinking about what he's going to do to you
I was a mean kid and would fight over just about anything. When they tried to push me I’d push back harder with an F U attitude and look, what really got to me was giving me something I enjoyed, mine happened too be shooting, and when I screwed up I lost my privileges, my father and grandparents would even take me with them still but I couldn’t even hold a gun I had to just sit there and watch lol. That’s what changed me, not yelling or taking away all my at home privileges but a fun activity and a cold and stern response in taking away the thing I enjoyed, when they said no you’re not shooting once they meant it, I got to carry the guns and ammo and clay but that was 100% it.
I just found your channel and I love it!!! Got yourself a new subscriber!
Okay when they lay the guy on the table and put a white sheet over him, "YOU ARE A DEAD MAN WALKING."
Had me good
I really like that you took the few seconds to explain that you don't like the derogatory term and that you're so open minded about men who became women
What's up Perrito! Just subscribed to your canal.... Thanks for keeping it Real!!
