Larry a story you might think is interesting is on the Columbus Police Body Camera channel. It's a military vet talking about how policing in Iraq was. I think you'll like this story because it really shows how good we have it in America. Please check it out maybe you could make a video talking about it.
I have a theory but im not a legal expert so i wouldnt know if it holds water but eh...
We know Grosskreutz is part of a Communist/Antifa Organization and the FBI was investigating the Riots and i am not sure but i think the Antifas are even deemed a terrorist organization.
So perhaps Grosskreutz will not get charged because he cooperated the past year?
could it be that the Prosecutor is using Kyle Rittenhouse and everything he (Kyle) testifies as evidence to bury Joshua Ziminski or even some unknown Antifa Organizer who Organized Riots all over the country?
in short: could the Prosecutor be doing what he does/did because there is a bigger case in the making against the Riot Organizers or is that not something that happens?
it sorta reminds me of back in the 60s and 70s with those left wing terrorist organizations that would kidnap people and bomb places
The same government that abandoned the city and let the rioters burn loot and destroy everything, is the same government that's trying to put a civilian that was out there doing the job the government refused to do, in prison. This whole case should be thrown out, and the prosecution should be put in prison.
There's nothing "cut and dry" about the gun charge. The Gun charge literally doesn't apply to hunting rifles in the state of Wisconsin. The statute only applies to short barrel/ cut barrel rifles, not long barrel hunting rifles. Even IF he gets convicted on it, there's no way it stands up to an appeal.
The fact the prosecutor attempted to use Kyle's invocation of his 5th amendment right as implicit guilt is disgusting.
The police are not on your side, so its your job to stay silent. Fucking disgusting by the prosecution.
He should definitely be disbarred. The more I saw him cross examine Kyle the more I thought that he must be the biggest slime ball in all of Wisconsin.
This is the trial of the century for him. His career is riding on this trial. The major problems with having prosecutors tied to elected political positions

Doesn't make it or him any less unbelievably stupid, making the entire incident extremely sad. It never should have happened. Self-defence or not, this is on Kyle for being an unbelievably stupid child who intentionally stepped into a highly volatile situation with a rifle.
And here's the law in Wisconsin: a minor can legally carry a long gun (rifle or shotgun) without a permit, but cannot own it until 18. So Rittenhouse carrying a borrowed rifle was fully legal
In practice wasn't it HIS rifle that HE payed for, someone else just made the purchase?
@@ninjabiatch101 Nope. He did give the guy the money to buy it, but the other guy was the owner, kept it at his house, and Rittenhouse did not have access without his permission. After Rittenhouse turned 18, they were going to transfer ownership of it to Rittenhouse, and Rittenhouse would be able to take it home and keep it there. If he had bought it with the money, then gave it to Rittenhouse and Rittenhouse took it home and controlled it, then there would be a case. But that did not happen in this case.

Media outlets aren't trying to give people the facts but spin a narrative to their loyal drones.

When it comes to the 2nd amendment I would like to see a felon reform where felons who did not coming a violent crime should be able to regain their 2nd amendment. There are some people who have proven themselves a threat to society and they shouldn't be allowed to own one. But being a felon does not mean you are a threat to society.
To add to this, I think someone like Larry is a great example that people can change. If they have reformed and paid their debt and haven't relapsed into crime, they should still be able to defend themselves.

My 6yr old does a better job at crying than that punk kyle.Hes a good actor though!!!
I recently found out that FBI helicopter footage shows him chasing people and then the crowd retaliated. So it can't be self defense if he's chasing.
if he is running away and people follow him thorwing stuff at him and pointing a gun at him and he shoots one of em its self defence...
@@zachhall3299 there's satellite footage of him chasing people as they run away. The judge dismissed it
@@EvilM0nkeyRules You have a link or just making this up to stir up the comments?
I didn't know anything about this case as I'm not form the US, but from that video tape footage alone you could see which one of them was running away and which one was chasing... I hate how simple it sounds but that should totally be "case closed". Plus one of the three guys that got shot at literally said that he aimed a pistol at Kyles face... How did this case take 1 year to get to this? Why did the tape footage take so long to surface?
it didnt take this long to surface. We all saw this a year ago and nothing new has been presented
edit: "we all saw this" as in Americans who are center or right-- bc we dont watch corporate media

@@IRNoahBody i know right, guns are a cowards weapon, and he shot the first guy because he got a plastic bag thrown at him
what about this conspiracy theory: Binger is actually the best guy ever and acted like an idiot on purpose to save Kyle even if it costs his entire career
not really he had a history of going after firearms rights
Larry, the governor neglected to send the National Guard and local police were not helping. I understand many people were there burning businesses down, assaulting business owners. I understand this event happened night 3 or 4 of the riots. I also understand multiple locals were there with guns. Rosenbaum was pushing a flaming dumpster towards the gas station and Kyle put the fire out with the Extinguisher, then Rosenbaum chased Kyle setting off everything. The Governor and local Police failed Kenosha and Kyle. Kyle shouldn't have been prosecuted at all in my opinion, especially with the video available.
Nate the Lawyer has a great video on the media lies for extra info.
"He shouldn't have been there." No, the looters and arsonists shouldn't have been there.
He’ll get the recklessly endangering safety, use of a dangerous weapon charge deservingly 😂
The prosecutor is so awful it's hard to watch. Kyle's most likely going to be acquitted
Maybe that's by design, they're throwing case on purpose to say "well we tried" (feeling like they have to try case to keep public from rioting)
@@SoulDelSol I pray that this is the case. But people are stupid.

To a riot?
If Rittenhouse was an idiot for being there, are the ones shot idiots for being there?
One thing I want to point out, Larry. What happened was that Kyle was asked by Dominic, his friend, to come with him to the protest. Dominic was asked by Nick, or somebody. Can’t remember the name. The reason for this was because the police were told to lay back. In other words, the police weren’t doing their jobs.
They always stand down for these parisites
As always Larry, you got it right, your knowledge of the law has become almost flawless, and thank you for looking at this case in an objective way.
why does the maghaberry prison have a football pitch in it
The what
Good news, Kyle Rittenhouse was found NOT GUILTY on all charges
Have to agree with Larry on all points. Sounds like self defense to me. Be interesting to see what happens. Always an interesting watch. Great video
Protest, they were burning multiple businesses down. The thing that triggered it was him preventing them from pushing a burning dumpster into a gas station.
It's clear that the DA don't know shit about AR-15's
To say Rittenhouse wouldn’t have been charged with murder if he didn’t go to the protest is asinine.
If the people he shot had not been there, they probably would have also survived a bit longer.
The prosecutor tried to say that Rittenhouse had implicit guilt because he exercised his 5th amendment right. That is disgusting. He could be (and in my opinion, should be) disbarred for that.
Fuck around and find out... simple as that...
I think the really interesting thing about this case is that everyone's political leanings are influencing peoples opinions on it. I bet a lot of people in support of him getting off wouldn't feel that way if he was with Antifa, and I bet the people wanting to see him declared guilty wouldn't feel that way if he didn't shoot BLM protestors. It's pretty hilarious, and also pretty sad, by how hypocritical, and ignorant, politics makes people. It's almost like followers on both sides are like sheep that let others shape their opinions.
great take larry I agree. Everyone demonized this kid forever and I was the "crazy" one who said self-defense because I saw the actual videos. Now most people agree with me even though they called me crazy beforehand and labelled me as a crazy right wing white supremacist.
Not Guilty on all accounts
Ouch, I know this comment is unlikely to be seen. I do agree he will likely get off. But the way you are talking about him is confusing me for some reason. I think one of the issues I am having is yes, all of this was in self defense, but the fact he was 17, there with a rifle and during curfew while civil unrest was happening really puts a need for accountability to him and those who helped him be there. This is because it is unlikely any of this would have happened if he was not there.
It also reinforces that there is a two tiered justice system as there are many people who have gotten time for minor offenses such as gun possession and curfew. Someone else buying him a gun (straw purchase).
Again, I agree it is likely he will likely get off with most charges. He might get a guilty with the curfew and gun possession, but even that is a big maybe.
I dont know, I am at the 18min mark of your video and your commentary really seems a little different and off putting for this kid. Maybe it also has to deal with my own experience with the justice system.
Larry, convicted felons can still become lawyers, I think you'd make a great civil rights fighter, and criminal defense attorney! Would you ever consider becoming a lawyer?
I'm not sure he'll be able to keep his cool with prosecution like this
@@gorganfredman5363 yeah haha probably would be hard for anyone

I was amazed, watching the trial Kyle had no firearm training, no training on use of deadly force, yet he showed incredibly firearm discipline. He shot only those who threatened him and only when threatened. Not the spray and pray you see some police use
Your right he was amazing at murdering people, intriguing isn't it? Hmmmm let's study him. He shouldn't have been there and he shouldn't have had that gun, but sure amazing marksmanship and gun use.
@@keithfernandez1600 in your world, he should just be a victim and beg for his life. Fortunately, his actions will be judged on the facts and Wisconsin law on self defense
Kyle handled that AR like a Boss!
@@keithfernandez1600 its self defense cause they attacked him 1st making them the aggressors they brought it on themselves
@@keithfernandez1600 they wouldn't be dead had they just not attacked him. they instigated and drew first blood
Kyle was an idiot for being there. I will agree with that statement. But I think let's also not forget why he and other civilians were there to Begin with.
1. The rioters destroying property and people's livelihoods instead of peacefully protesting.
2. He and other civilians were there protecting property because politicians decided to play politics, and not send the national guard or other police forces, who are properly trained to handle situations like this.
Again, he was stupid for being there, but let's face it his actions were in self defense, and no one would have been killed if the riots weren't happening and more importantly, the people who were killed, didn't attack him.
Free Kyle
Kyle looked so cute when he burst into tears
If I was a juror and I knew what the criminal records of the three people Rittenhouse shot, I'd probably let him walk for that alone.
And that's why you would be a horrible juror. I hope you never get called for jury duty, and if you do, I pray for the poor fool whose case you're on.
As a father of 5 , 4 boys one girl there's only one thing I cant wrap my head around . One of my 17 year old Sons comes to me and states " Pops , there's a riot just over the state line and I want to go down there with my gun and see what's up . can you give me a ride ?" Im sure I have no idea which universe it would be that would have me reply " Sure Son , sounds like a plan . What time will you need a ride home ?" Hell , if I have a few 17 year olds in my basement drinking a few beers and watching movies I can end up in jail ! Thats the ONLY part that blows my mind .
So here’s my take: I think Kyle should be not guilty on all charges. Great video. I’ve watched the bulk of the trial too.
HOWEVER: here’s my question - if Kyle walks, there will be riots again. Did we not learn from this that we should NOT riot? If we riot we risk more deaths in this way. So anyone who riots learned nothing whatsoever to prevent this from happening again 💯😬
Yes, there will be riots again. 2 people were arrested today in front of court house.
From what I've seen, the law about possessing while under 18 doesn't apply to this case, because Rittenhouse falls under one of the exception clauses in the law. It's pretty convoluted in its writing because in the section on *exceptions* it states the law only applies to short barreled rifles or to individuals *less than 16*
You sir win the internet today. You made this post then a few hours later the judge threw those charges out. I tip my hat to you.
@@MainerdLoyd you are kind to say so, but I must come correct. I simply watched a video here on UA-cam where one of the many lawyers watching this case broke down the law line by line. I only passed it along in my own words.
It was clipped on Law Nerd Clips, under the title "One thing well, Kyle Rittenhouse is the 3c exception"

For anyone saying he shouldn’t have been there that’s like going into a gang neighborhood they attack u and u defend yourself then u try to say well why were u in a gang neighborhood…..Um because u have the right to be wherever u want and if someone attacks u and u defend yourself that’s on them
Going into a dodgy neighbourhood isn’t the same as crossing state lines to go to a protest with a assault rifle.
Not the same bro
@MrRazorback7 I never said he was protesting because murder isn’t a form of protest. He was AT a protest though
@harry Milton-white it is the same thing though it’s like saying if u have a concealed carry permit u shouldn’t go into a bar where people get drunk and fight but if someone gets drunk and tries to fight u whose fault is that yours or the drunk person…..Kyle going there is a totally separate thing than what’s he’s actually being charged with he’s being charged with 1st degree murder and there’s overwhelming evidence to prove his innocence
@raisin hell. It is the same actually Kyle had just as much of a right to be there as the rioters
Bro I’ve seen so many bad prosecutors high profile cases in Wisconsin that it’s unbelievable. Because the rush to charge people and more than half of the time the charges are shit
I had no idea about this until a few days ago
Everyone has a right to self defense, and kyle had a right to be there at the riot just like everyone else who was there
There is a huge misconception with Double Jeopardy. Double Jeopardy just says you can’t be charged twice for the same crime once acquitted in the same jurisdiction. The feds are different jurisdiction technically so if they so chose they could bring charges. In this case it would be absurd to but they could.
Lets go Brandon

And that's why we always needs to be careful what we put out in public cause they'll use anything against us just to bring us down
This prosecutor should be forced to go through law school all over again and, if he passes, he should take the bar again. Simultaneously, he should be tried for prosecutorial misconduct and Judge Schroeder should preside over his case.
