The thing I remember about that 2004 tsunami was this British 10 year old girl who had just learned the signs of a tsunami in geology class recently and tried to warn everyone, no one believed her at first but her dad saw how panicked she was and decided to mention it to some security guy who was Japanese and knew a bit about tsunamis and took it more seriously and was able to evacuate the beach and it ended up saving like a couple hundred people. Like kudos to her for saying that, for spilling.

Love them both and when I read the announcement about the tour, I felt for Katya in my heart, as an addict myself whose been clean since 2014; the truth is that addicts still struggle sometimes (even after almost a decade of not using, I totally get it). Fafsa is SO HARD if you are missing a parent. I struggle with procedural things and the difficulty i had getting any support while file as a independent (because i was) was so hard i cried multiple times, and considered HVAC as an alternative!!

@@polisherci So unlike a scholarship(private, barriers and qualifacation locked), FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is offered by the Gov directly to everyone once a year.
They look at both you parents and how much money they have as people, then decide how much money they will grant to you debt free. I had no father and my mother was homeless and not living with me when i was going to college, so the paperwork being So much based on your parents was really not helpful when you file as independent (as in emancipated/ legally a self-responsible child)
the application, even including the fact that my packet for my dad just was one page, still took me 2 days, I think of actually sit down time it was something like 6 hours of typing family info, bank stuff, my moms entire life, my entire school record history (cause they also include how you've been doing grades wise) and i do not even remember what else!!
