Thank you so much for getting to this amazing woman. You will not be disappointed, no matter what songs of hers you check out. Long long time, You’re No Good, the list is endless. She ruled for four decades. She is still alive but had her beautiful voice stolen by Parkinson’s disease. Thank goodness there is an amazing amount of her music available everywhere. Enjoy this new rabbit hole and thanks again
James I'm one who requested her so glad you like her! Unfortunately she's unable to sing anymore due to Parkinson's disease but she's still alive . I love all her music she's sung many different genres (pop, rock, country, old standards, she was in Pirates of Penzance on Broadway also did an album of Hispanic Tejano music the biggest selling Spanish language album of all time). I love all her music but some of my favorites are "Long, Long Time" "You're No Good" "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" "Tracks Of My Tears" and 2 duets, one with Aaron Neville "Don't Know Much" and one with James Ingram "Somewhere Out There" (you may have heard this one if you love animated movies it's from An American Tail). These are just a few that I thought up right away. James I thank you for your reactions it's a joy for an old timer like me to see you appreciate and enjoy the music from my day. Enjoy the rabbit hole, lol!
Linda was certainly great, so please do go listen to more of her greatest hits. And I love watching your sweet appreciative looks on your sweet face as you hear a great one. Your smile makes me smile. Thanks for what you do!
The lovely Linda no one can touch her, she was one of the top female artists of the 70's and 80's, she did this live, as you pointed out they don't perform like this anymore. She was pure musical genius who explored multiple musical genres and was a smashing success in all of them!
I've been on this earth for a lot of years now, and it does my heart good to see someone as young as yourself discovering and truly enjoying this music. It makes me think back to those times when there was so much great music, that a lot of us sort of took it for granted and thought it would always be there. I truly enjoy your reactions to "my" music. Keep doing what you're doing. God bless.
Sorry to be off topic but does someone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
