It's wild how much more calm and serene the whole experience is from the vantage point of the person actually doing it. Watching someone do it is terrifying.
Because flying close to an object provides the pilot with perception of speed. If they fly away, that will be a regular skydive, that they can do 6-9 times a day at any dropzone. Every pilot (of any aircraft) dreams of a fly by ;)
@@XfilerD nah, that can't be it. flying is flying; dropping is dropping. so whether one hugs cliffs or flies out over a valley, either way, they're doing more than simply dropping. I do see, however, how close a resemblence the two might be. But I think they are still two different things. I mean with skydiving, there is little, if any, ability to direct one's flight. It's a drop.
You can maintain glide ratio in a wingsuit 2.3-3.5 to 1 depending on a size of a suit and your skill. So it's not a drop, but a really bad glide. And just so you know, you can skydive and base jump in a wingsuit. So wingsuit skydive isn't just a drop. What you see in this video is a wingsuit base jump. And every wingsuit base jumper is a wingsuit skydiver as well.
At the end, that's what we call a precision landing. This jump is mindblowing

Beautiful! Thanks for not putting music on it.
Watched this in 4K on a 27 inch iMac. Totally blown away at the quality. You guys have balls of plutonium :-)
Grandioser Flug in einem bombastischen Setting. Schön anzusehen 💙🤙🏻

veramente molto bello...complimenti...mi raccomando volate con prudenza... :-)
Fantástico 👌👌👌
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Spectacular. How long does it take to reach the level of skill needed to get this kind of result with the wingsuit?
Sick jump
Epic!!!
👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
얼마나 기분좋을까?
부럽다.
epic
Du hast ja wirklich Mut....zwischen den Laternenpfosten und Zäunen durch....hoffentlich kriegst Du da nie mal Seitenwind...
why do so many hug the cliffs instead of getting out away from them
