Watching the entire series in one sitting
I feel like they should make the cougar spawn out of sight, and in a stalking mode until it gets into a closer range at which point it will charge. It’s charging range should be farther than the bears charging range and it should be relatively quiet so it counts as a sneak attack. The mechanics should be almost exactly the same as how the bear acts in the hunted game mode.

Yes, experimenting for science is just what I would expect in Misery Mode. What could go wrong?

I played a bit of Misery today (great time, usually I play a Stalker-ish custom game) and my map knowledge is so rusty I thought one of the surprises they added was that they closed off some areas. Turns out I was just bad at getting from Pleasant Valley to Mystery Lake!
I felt this in my soul. Matter of fact, I think if you go back and watch some of the first series after the channel came back early last year, you can literally watch me go through this in real time.
The arched tree by the snowed-over road shows the way.
The heavy hammer works against wolves. Usually very effective.

I've been following your videos since 2018 and heard about your hiatus but since Part 5 came out, I wondered if you were going to play again and you've been! Today is a beautiful, hot day over here and I'm excited to cool down with The Long Dark :) I just wanted to let you know I think the playlist for Last Misery is out of order? I have it as 4,3,2,1,5. I love this game but I can't play it because I'm totally directionally impaired and all I do is wander in circles until I die😭
Why did you keep eating on a full stomach?
Not sure what you're referring to. Probably because I needed the effect of the tea I was drinking. Wouldn't matter otherwise.
Once you fill the hunger meter it won’t let you eat more, so food/calories aren’t wasted. You’ll use them eventually. And food in the belly means a lighter pack. So it doesn’t really matter when you eat the food, as long as you don’t let the meter run out completely.
