If only you could use spray paint to deter wolves.
I feel there should be a few ways to deter wolves and maybe bears, working out like exchange time, energy, food, water, and you get strength and makes your chances against them higher to overpower them, spray paint like you said would be effect I definitely be good too, but I think once your skill is high enough in hunting you should be able to actually tussel w them or sum like that
@@dankmemes2382 I'm thinking like the ability to use the spray can in a struggle would be cool. Maybe the joystick fights you and you have to tap while keeping the spray paint on their face.
@@dankmemes2382 Actually if you have the bear or wolf skin coats, or bear skin bed roll with you that increases the chance that they'll run away instead of attack. I was thinking along the lines of using the paint can similar to other weapons, like pepper spray.
I, for one, love that it always starts in PV because.. well...
to me that seems easier than a random spawn like Interloper. All my Interloper attempts spawned in either Blackrock at the bottom of the canyon, HRV or Ash Canyon, At night, as a blizzard was starting. Starting mid day in PV is pleasant by comparison.
@@philschaefer4651 if it’s any consolation pleseant valley doesn’t even have the worst weather anymore that honor goes to forsaken airfield I didn’t know there could be a zone that can out blizzard pleasant valley and forsaken airfield is one of them
It's been a while since I've had the time to catch up on your videos. Now binged these 8 episodes within the past 48 hours, with no sign of stopping. 😂
Sometimes you can find the skillet in the center (in the crossing) on top of the pantry in the kitchen. You didn't look up on either of your runs :)
Mannnn you found all that stuff in the gas station bc I was hating I was praying on your downfall bc I got nothing in my run 😭😭😭😭😭, ps PICK UP THE SPRAY PAINTTTTTTTTT
I wonder if going straight to the summit would be a viable option? I haven't had a chance to update/play since the new tales was added.

Yes, it is but it's really hard. You probably won't have a bedroll so will need to use snow shelters and you will need to find some cloth to make at least some improvised wraps to stave off frostbite. So you have to stop somewhere first, you won't find enough at the crash site or the cabin, so go to the farmhouse first or stop in AC first.
You’d have to be really lucky in the weather department.
@@janelmarie7571 Yeah I was thinking of that. Plus you'd need a couple hacksaws or a toolkit and scrap to repair the one you're using.

I would loot PV first for hacksaw, coffee, stim, clothes.
I went straight up the rope to the plane crash. The loot was meager. I lost two fingers to frostbite, while still in PV.
The bear up there is a gamble, but I was lucky. The bunker was empty, TWM was alluring, but I decided to leave such crazy endeavours to the survival elite ;)
The cave nearby though... I fell right after entering it (cave kowwedge...), but survived, crawled trough the dark, found the waterfall, with a marine flair and a coffee behind it, made a fire with the flair, and in the light I found a bedroll and recovered.
From there I b-lined to Thomson's, the Barn , Farm, Signal Hill and then to Mystery Lake, checked its main locations and the followed your path to DP, b/c I didn't have the hammer and FM is not worth the risk, if you don't have the hammer yet - and surely I found one in CH. I made the forge run... and died on the way back after 18 days and 3 miseries.
For the first attempt I consider it relatively successful, since I'm many things, but not TLD's survival elite. So I'd really like to see you try the plane opening someday.
