Mac is Stuck on Apple Logo or Progress Bar. Try This!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 сер 2024
- Is your Mac stock on the Apple logo or looping the progress bar screen? There are three things you can try to get mac unstuck and resume the normal start process. This works on any Mac including Macbook and iMac.
The first step is by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds to force restart your Mac.
The second option is unplugging all accessories attached to your Mac including external hard drives and printer.
The last step is restarting your Mac in recovery mode. The Apple support page will explain this in more detail depending on the type of Mac you have.

First option worked for me too... Thanks 😊
Thank you so much for this quick and to-the-point tutorial. I use my older mac as second monitor and every so often when it does this and I have to reinstall the OS onto an external drive I have velcroed to the back of the Mac. Thanks again!

Absolute legend. Was troubleshooting for over an hour, and all I had to do was pull out my hard drive.
Thank you so much!🎉
I hate Macs, why did I buy one 😭
Got any issue?
It wasn't charging for a month and now it's charging fine again 🤔😂
@@itspaintosee what did you do? Mine has been stuck on 1% for almost a week now. It’s not charging. I don’t know what to do
Edit… I had to get a new battery, hooray
We all thought it was better than windows😂
To put Linux on it.

My macpro is having trouble loading and I’m sure it has something to do with an external hard drive but according to your video I’m assuming I suppose to trash my hard drive?
1st Option Helped my Macbook M1 2021 16inch Thank You👏😍
Thank you so much. It worked!
Thank you 🙏🏾
Solved my problem, thank you
Thanks for the video, we've got a Macbook pro A1502 2015, that seems to hang on boot up with Catalina and above. Even after an update it will hang. It does this on the Internal Storage and from a USB hard drive booting. We've fully tested the RAM but it intermittently continues to do this. , so strange. It does eventually start in Safe Boot but takes a while.
You may have hard drive issue , have you tried new hard drive yet
Same here. Whenever I have to restart it I have to put it into safe mode.
Thank you for the help. I waited all day and it was stuck in the apple logo. I followed your first instruction to restart then unplug any wireless mouse etc and it worked. 😭
Life saver! 🙌
Thanks bro helpful

The second option worked thank you so much❤❤
I have iMac 2012. After power cut it was stuck on loading screen and very slow and unresponsive. I tried everything but only thing that worked on the end was cabled keyboard and mouse (Bluetooth did not work) I had to erase the disk and install the OS from recovery (command + R on start up). Now works better than ever.
Thank you. Mac froze during update for an hour and step two worked 😊
THAMKS .It worked with command R and I reloaded the computer.
Hey yesturday I deleted something in the files to clear some of my “other gb” I deleted something that I’m not suppose to and now it doesn’t let me sign in to my apple account
Thanks ❤, 2nd one worked 😊
This helped thank you so much 😊
You are a lifesaver thank God your recommendations worked right away ❤👍😊
I think this may work. It is still reloading. Thanks!
mine has been stuck on a update bar and wont go any further than half. ive tried resseting it and nothing works
My daughter broke her screen on her Mac Pro 16 $3400 new by the power cord connector was in the hinge so she used our tv for a week then backed up the unit and brought it to Apple they hooked it up to test then gave her a $1,000 estimate she took it home to find out it no longer powers up she brought it back and said it’s cycling and now needs a logic board also at $2,000 so how could they have screwed it up with their test jig ?
You rock!
Tyyy it worked
Im having this problem but my progress bar stops and my imac shuts off completely! Ugh… I’ll try your 2nd step hoping thats it. Or I will hop to step 3.
I’ll keep you posted thanks!!
Did you finally get this solved? Please what did you do about it?
@@benejix did you get yours solved ?

Hi. I'm stuck on the apple logo and the chanel bar screen. It seems to have got to a certain point and won't go any further. (macbook air i5). I'm trying to do an Internet recovery but it ain't happening 💁🏼♂️
Thank you so much! I’m waiting on it to do a recovery. This MacBook belonged to my husband and he passed away September 2021.
Ty sm I help me
It**
Ya it works 🔑
What did you use to record this?
I wish I never bought my Mac book pro. Had issues with it while under warranty and nothing was ever found or the help I got was lame. After warranty I needed up having to pay for a repair. And bring it in again for another repair under that service warranty. Now it’s stuck in the loading screen and shutting it off won’t do anything.
what MacBook Pro do you have - im expecting you have hard drive issue
how to fix if i do not have mac keyboard?
What if Cmd + R doesn’t work and the Apple logo is still stuck?
did you find a solution?
@@monkey5092 I heard before you start your Mac book press shift, option, command, and R all at the same time and it’s gonna reset everything cause the internet will download everything you need
@@Loveslayernasami lol i've already tried that
cmd R is for intel processor macs
Try to do several attempts, i had this issue not a long time ago
on MB-air, 11" early 2014: nothing helped. all Cmd+r resets recovery resets etc., even disk repair and install new option from recovery menue all got me stuck on logo-screen. here is what resolved my issue:
boot into safe mode and navigate in finder to /users. Copy your data if you don't have a TM backup that is reliable.
then boot with cmd+r into recovery mode and go to disk utility. Select Macintosh HD (NOT the data partition!) and hit erase. Create the volume with the default AFPS settings.
Then do a new install from the cmd+r menue and wait.... restore your data should it be missing from TM backup or your manual backup
How do you back your stuff up if it’s not turning off? I’m so scared of loosing everythjng
It didn’t work for me but thanks for the option of going to the apple store and getting it repaired
Did Apple charge u?
Saved this video, you never know
I did the reinstall and though it made it through that but on the next screen was the apple icon and progress bar. The progress goes to about 40% and doesn't move any more. It's been sitting there for 2 hrs. Any other options? Thanks 😊
Same
Did you fix?
@JBadge no, I got tired of messing around with it. It was ten years old, and that was the third time having a hard drive issue. Luckily, I had a new dell laptop as a backup pc. I'll never buy an apple pc again. They are overpriced, so its back to windows. 😊
Mine is an iMac 27" 5 k late 2015; I got it in a bundle from one of the auction sites and have no idea what's in it, nor the specs, as I haven't been able to make it boot up; I tried 2 different HDDs, thinking the problem would be with the original one, with the same results, it gets stuck on the Apple logo and no loading bar movement; recovery disk, internet recovery all end up the same, no option to Disk Utility or OS reinstalling; Apple Hardware Diagnostics, by pressing Option + D or just D starts and freezes at the "2 minutes remaining" message; any idea of what I might be dealing with?
Hello! It’s been 3 months, have u found a solution to this yet? I’m experiencing the same exact problem
I have not, unfortunately; to be honest I just gave up after so many frustrating tries
@@iceberg220 I’m considering that too 😩 I’ve tried everything I’ve found on the internet
have you tried to open up the iMac - put a new internal hard drive in ? this is a big risk of damaging screen but we got to try
@@cprepairslab6465 yes, I did; I mentioned in my comment that I tried 2 other HDDs and same result; I even tried an external HDD; anyway, I ended up just taking it apart for spare parts and trash the rest; thank you!
Thank you wireless keyboard was the problem
i had my charger plugged in. i took it out and restarted it. it’s working now
What if you don’t have an apple keyboard? I can’t do command anything, just ctrl.
on windows keyboards the left windows button is the CMD button on macs, give it a try
great fix unplugged drive pressed and held power button, all sorted and back working, thanks so much

Hi.! My MacBook pro stuck on apple logo and then went black without showing anything...
mine gets stuck with a full loading bar and never restarts, I cant seem to get into the recovery mode, also there are no devices attached to it
I’m exactly the same. Did you fix this issue?
@@libbylizlukesame here, were you able to resolve it?
Mine is still stocked, i tried the recovery mode and it's only showing me available WiFi, i connected to wifi but it just keeps loading 😢
What if this happened during a MAC OS Update?
Did you solve this already?
were you able to fix this? my mac just keeps on restarting after an OS update.
I erased mine. Is there a video for that?
hey howfinity!
Hi
I turned on my iMac then the logo and progress bar appears when it's almost done loading it switches off, don't know what to do, please help
Did you ever find a fix?
@@ForMySon. Hi i haven't found any solution brother
Did you find any solution. Facing same problem
Any solution yet
@@imraniftikhar6967 no the only thing I'll have to do is to get it fix at iStore
if you reinstall the operating system does it wipe your drive?
i also have the same question
No it does not.
It only wipes your drive if you hop on the Disk Utility and erase or wipe the container
@@straybulletspin doped thanks!
I can’t get past the black screen with the logo and bar for 3 days
Same, please help
I can’t select the user, it won’t be clicked. How can I solve this?
