Look at sweet Tullah. She watching her daddy with so much love and trust. So sweet.
Yes this remedy works beautifully!
The problem is, my chihuahua loves coconut oil and will try to lick it off.
I tried bitter apple spray mixed in with it and that stopped her! 🐾♥️.

Thanks Dr James
Thanks doc

Winter has been itchy this year. Just bathed the babies yesterday. So shiny and comfy again today. Used ACV as the rinse.
I swear your videos are always on time when I need it. My baby's flaky and she is already on antibiotics for another infection.
Will try it Hope this works
Thank you Dr

I like it thanks a lot I'm knew in your channel by chance just saw it few days ago 🙏🙏
I'm glad you like it
Soooo good to know!!!!
Welcome!
Perfect, thank you so much Dr. Jones for this valuable information. Since oil and vinegar do not mix, if I add a tiny drop of dish soap in order for the two to bind, will the dish soap be safe to put on still? Thank you kindly.
Adding a tiny drop binds both water and oil into a nice paste, no more vinegar at the bottom.
Thanks

Thank you for the great information this will help us take care of our dog itchy skin ..
Glad it was helpful!

Great natural remedies Dr. Jones, you talked about them in others videos and you are right, I already tried them on my dogs, they work.
Thank you so much. Greetings from

Wonderful!
Does witch hazel work for dogs with itchy skin? And can Coconut oil in the food help?
Is refined coconut oil okay to use?
Thank you so much. Can this be used on an area that has been licked raw? Would it be helpful to also bathe him with Selsin Blue, then apply the mixture?
I tried the old method a few years ago and wouldn’t you believe it I’m back two years later because my pup broke out in smaller hot spots. She makes me scratch her back all of the time! It’s time to treat it
Thank you Doctor! I will try this on my dog with allergies 🙏🏼❤️
Wonderful!
Thank you as always!!

What causes brown spots on dogs belly? Thank you
I’m going to try this on my yorkie. She has allergies. Thank you for your videos.
Our pleasure!
What would you recommend for oily seborrhea?
🤔 I agree that both those things are good for a dogs skin, BUT, if it's a hot spot, or irritated skin, the ACV is going to sting like crazy. Also, dogs like the taste of coconut oil so much, that the are just going to lick it right off, which won't do them any good.
Thank you, love your holistic approach. My dogs hot spots were really bad, moist and stinky, red and inflamed. I did the black tea and aspirin, till it dried up. Then I went to coconut oil. You were instrumental in curing her. She has flea allergies 😢 Thanks again❤
Most welcome
Awww Tullah❤️❤️❤️
I took my Chihuahua GIZMO to the vet because he gets this every year and it's on his backside his little butt. I normally would use Aloe vera but I was unable to get good Aloe vera. I had left my plants out and we got a frost and they didn't make it. I took him to vet but the medication they put him on I had to order a blow up collar so he would not lick it due to it not being safe to consume. I got the blow up collar and used medication but he refused to eat or drink. I'm so glad you put this video out. I just mixed it up and I'm going to try this. Praying 🙏for you. Thank you for your video..
Welcome Sheri.

@@ritacorona9287it has helped my pup a lot. Plus I added a probitic to his food. I make sure that red areas are clean as well. I hope that has helped. I also added the alley medicine that Dr. Jones recommended and he sells it too. It starts with the letter q..... quivering. He has videos that he mentions it for allergies for pet's. I use the human version for my allergies and it helps me to.

Do you have any advice on how to treat salivary gland lump under the tongue? Much love from Ottawa 🇨🇦
I would try CBD/THC orally
Can we use regular vinegar??
THANK-YOU! I'm going to try this with my mini-schnauzer, we switched him to raw about 7 weeks ago (HE LOVES IT!) His itching has gone way down, but he's still doing it. His fur is going pink around his feet, his mouth, and arm pits. I've seen the vet, and doesn't think it's a yeast issue...
Thanks Michelle- yes yeast may be involved

Hello Dr Andrew I have Been watching you ft years I have new pup she got sprayed by a skunk got bump all over her neck face now spots spreading over her body the bump I open now bedding wat can I do f orb honey bun?
can we do that in summers ?
Would itching at hot spots be related to tick eggs? I found two ticks on my doodle this week, no others yet, but wondering if the two could be related? Thank you.
What about on the parts with hair?
Great tips, but I don't think the oil needs to be heated, necessarily. Because it begins to melt as soon as you place it on your hands. 😊 We use coconut oil on our dogs, too.
Great tip!
Braggs just got bought out, not good. I love your hotspot solution with green tea, lavender, copabia and tea tree oil. Heals a bloody skin issue up overnight! My dog loved it, but only if I used Young Living oils. She ran away from a lesser quality oil before I could get the mixture on her. They are so much more aware than we are.
I can't find the video you're referencing
Will this remedy help with a yeast infection in my dogs groin area? I saw it was red and the next day it was brown. I clean the area daily and the brown stuff rubs off then I spray it with an apple cider vinegar and water spray. It's still very red and he's always liking his groin area. 🥺
My dog has been itching and scratching since she was a puppy. I have her on flea prevention so fleas aren’t the problem. I will try this, along with the baths in blue Dawn and see what happens.
I don't think you should bathe your dog in dawn dish soap that will make their skin really dry
I’ll have to try that for my little Schnauzer. She has allergies and taking Apoquel but still itches especially on one part on her side. Thanks!!
Please get off the Apoquel. It is proving to be deadly to our pets.
@@chinookvalley yes! One side effect is liver damage. I’m doing a home cooked food trial with my dog. I refuse to give her apoquel. Coconut oil relieves the red hot spot areas.

What breed is Tula? She looks like. A cockapoo I had as a child, but somewhat bigger.
How often should you do this and how long does it take to get results ?
2-4 times/day- if helping you should see within 24-48 hours
How much of each to mix?
Can i use virgin coconut oil instead? Thanksss...

What's your opinion on the "naturvet septiderm-v skin care lotion"? Is it safe? Our pup just got over a pretty nasty hot spot on her paw, right before we had a chance to use it. Wondering if we should hold onto it. 🤔
It has some questionable ingredients..., Alkyldimethylbenzyl Ammonium Chloride C14 50%, C12 40%, C16 10%, Tetradecyl Trimethyl Ammonium Bromide; Ethanol 0.36% ... I would avoid it
@@VeterinarySecrets Thank you so much!!!

Dr. Jones, is it possible that my dog had a reaction to pesticides from a soya bean field? We walk twice a day and on the farm we pass a soybean field with pesticides and she ran through it a few times and has been itching like mad.
Can you use this remedy on the hotspots if it is bloody? I have been struggling with my chow. A month ago we took him to the groomers to shave him to treat for a hotspot on his tail. We were given curatex from the vet. It still did not work. Almost half of his back still has hotspots. I now started putting coconut oil on his back. I am willing to try anything now!!! Please help!!!
Yes as well. First clip/clean with an antiseptic scrub, or black tea/castile soap
Easiest remedy sir pl.explain female dog heating problem forn.my dog nine.years old lashaspoo lastnone year no heating whether stopped or any problem
Would you still suggest the black tea and baby aspirin topical?
How do you do it
Did it work ?
Won’t the apple cider vinegar sting if they stretched so hard it’s raw or open?
What is a hot spot exactly?
Thanks Doc. I just wanna ask if meat boiled meat saw dust is okay for my cats
What is 'meat boiled meat saw dust' - doesn't sound so good to me
@@VeterinarySecrets sorry, its meat sawdust, combination of pork and beef, which was a remnant from the slicer, then finely minced
Can I apply on my dog's other parts too? Before bath or after?
Yes, after a bath.
Can I give my dog this coconut oil/apple cider vinegar internally
My dog has really itchy legs. I changed her food. She has gone to the vet for shots of allergy meds. Nothing really works. I still got the issue going on. I believe maybe something out?
Hope this works on mine get his hair cut Tuesday probably new hair growing is making him itch so he should feel better so his new coat and grow
Some dogs can't be shaved too short especially with skin barrier problems.
Any advice what I could do to help my 12 year old dog with fluid in his lung my vet wants to put on medication for life i do not wish for this love yor remdeys ..
Ask as to what the underlying cause is first. Natural diuretics include dandelion leaf, parsley, elderberry
I have 5 toy poodles. One has very sensitive skin. I have tried every supposed non itch shampoo and she always ends up scratching, chewing and making herself bloody. I have to put a cone collar on for about a week, until her skin settles down. I did her first water only bath a week ago and she did not have a problem but she also did not get as clean either. Any suggestions? I can’t oil her whole body down and her walking around looking like a greasy girl.
I have white Turkish Angoras: a few of them suffer most dreadfully from skin allergies. I’m tired of giving them Prednisolone, which has horrible side effects.
What do you recommend for cats? Are there any natural remedies?
Yes, and I will be doing a cat allergy video next week. As for options 1. Krill/Fish oil 2. Strict Diet Change with unique animal protein 3. Antihistamine ( nettle as natural one) or Chlortripolon at 2mg twice daily
@@VeterinarySecrets
Great,
I can't wait to share that one!😉❤
But how can I apply this to the top of their back? Or areas cover in hair? My dog is scratching a lot in that areas and around the side of his neck
It's pretty easy to massage your dogs neck with fingertips.
Fur doesn't matter the oil with get to the skin - no worries 🐾
pls do a show on natural EFFECTIVE -- ANTI CANCER supplements for cats
Good suggestion
Number 1........Do not vaccinate pets
Diaper rash (zinc) cream works AWESOME for hotspots!! Gone in 24-48 hrs!!!
Thanks for that Tip!!
I didn't know that seeing how dogs PH is different than humans .
Hi Dr. My 6 year old Chihuahua has flaky skin and his very itchy. Would this help him?
Or is there anything else I can do for his dry skin.
just use some quality coconut oil.....for my two dogs i just rub some into their problem areas on their fur/skin making sure to massage it well and it helps relieve itchiness dandruff. one of my dogs had some bumps on top of her head and after rubbing in coco oil for a few days it went away.
We just got a mini goldendoodle pup this month. She is 3m old. Can I apply these on her? Thanks!

Because the coconut tastes good, will this cause my dog to continue licking the area? And if so, how should I remedy that?
Not with the ACV. Tula stopped immediately. You can up the concentration for the ACV

Can i use this all over body. Trying to get him off apoqiel

Will this work for my dogs warts? She itches so bad where her wart on her side is.🐕🐾💕🐶🐾💙💜💖💚
It may help for an infected wart. a common human remedy is ACV
Hello doc, what to do when a puppy has parvovirus,he is vomitting, having diarrhea and has no appetite to eat. Our shitzu was admitted in a vet’s clinic for 6 days and was discharged today, however, his symptoms are still present.
Please go back to your vet.
Can you use that on his whole body? My vet said that he has a Flea allergy and gave him a shot. And flea pills. Now he has very little hair left and it is spreading to his whole body. It was all around his eyes when he got up this morning. It goes all the way to his mouth! I can't stand looking at him being in totally miserable. I love him with all my heart. The sad thing is that I live on Social Security and I can't even afford food. He eats I make sure of that. Can you please help 🙏 me.
Thanks and God bless.
Would that work on ichy ears too ?
Yes it can...good question :-)
