    • @AcademicPhoenixPlus
      @AcademicPhoenixPlus  6 років тому

      Sadly, the visor was built mostly for Maya Software rendering. When you convert it to Polygons, you have to go and fix the leaves. I would suggest that you create a 'bundle' of leaves with the proper textures, delete the old ones, and replace them. I hope that helps!

    so im using Maya 2016 therefore not sure if this issue lies within Arnold as I didn't do that step. What happens is I have made a terracotta pot and a leaf stem but when I put everything in UE4 the leaves texture doesn't appear but the texture of the terracotta and leaf do, im left with just grey squares as if there were no texture. It looks just fine in maya

    • @AcademicPhoenixPlus

      Unreal's texture nodes are a bit different than Maya, even Mental Ray and Arnold. I would take a black and white image (the alpha map) as a separate texture. Then plug it into the transparency. That should do it!
