I have a 1990 C1500 and it's the same kind of ride but the interior makes it feel even more classic and old school before Chevy went to this interior in 95.
I have a 1990 C1500 ext cab Silverado package and the paint has gotten rough but the truck still runs like new and except for the transmission and radio, it's all original and the odometer stopped working at 215,000 miles and that was long before I got the truck.
Theres one for sale near me for 3-4 grand and its like original less than 20k miles on the truck no scratches no dents. Crazy these trucks are lit lol.
Have owned 2. 1 was a 1500 z never let me down. I mean never. I moved to a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4x4. It is my forever truck. These trucks are worth your time. Someone offers to buy it at least once a month.
Just bough a garage kept 74K mile 4X4 with 2000 1500 eighteen inch wheels 8K dollars. All options but leather. Looks new. This thing $7K 232 on the clock not a chance
Nobody that drives a truck cares about options, interior is fine except for the tear in the seat which is nothing, I'd pay 2500-4000 for the truck, I have a 1990 that has the classic interior and I won't ever sell it.
@@Hunter12345jjIt does with the 95 to newer models of the gmt400, unfortunately they didn't build them like they did in 88-94 after they started going more modern, still solid trucks but not worth that asking price.
That’s a nice truck and a real one too unlike these shit boxes these days I can’t even open up the damn door on some of the cars now back when cars started they made them with more technology and we have technology now it’s already shitty so why more
I just love this truck, the design, the interior, the antenna, that V8 sound, I just love late 90s trucks like this

A real truck.
I have one
@@peytonparks313I have a 1990 that is all original.
I've got a 97. Still my everyday driver.
Love that truck ....and oldie but goodie
I have a 98 stepside green and gold combo stil looks great with the slt package off road. oh yeah 73,000 miles on mine.

GMC Sierra is SLT
@@santinoeli71506 ok? Trim package doesn't mean a damn thing.
@@santinoeli71506 my truck is a "Silverado" is it really a Silverado? No, it's a gmt400.

A 98 without a 3rd door, that's rare
My old boss had one with only the two doors and the long bed, now that one is massively rare as it was 1/2 ton
Always liked this year of the truck my mom had this same truck and year only in brown manual transmission and 4 wheel drive with 75 thousand miles

5.7 Vortec last damn near forever as long as you do oil changes on it.
Nice! Just bough one for 2k, similar condition. Great truck. (SLT)
HAHAHHA BOUGH BUT GMC THEN!!!😂😂
Now my pickup bro.
Push the button at end of blinker switch to turn on cruise control.
God Bless the 1500
Please test drive 1st Gen expedition (1997-2002) and 2nd gen (2003-2006)
200k mi for 7k is crazy
I wouldn't pay that but I also live in Texas where these trucks are everywhere still and we don't have rust issues.
It's a sought after style and year model. Mine is in worse condition than this with 270k miles and I've been offered 10 a few times
Push the button on top of front seat center piece to drop down storage box.
I swear my 1995 gmc truck was like caddy smooth too. Had to junk it cuz smog issues. So I bought a 2020 before it went indy rear
That's why I love living in a state where smog and emissions only matter until a vehicle turns 25
I’m looking at one but never driven one is it really smooth like caddy/town car type?
My 95 burban really was caddy smooth. 2wd. My 2020 burban 4wd is very similar
How is on gas????
Probably 12-14 miles per gallon? 🤷🏾♂️
@@NothinButCarReviews ok, thanks. God bless you bro.
😂
I have the same truck but it's a 4x4, and has a 3rd door.
Can anybody explain to me what the deal with that center console is. The center console in my truck dont go down either, and it drives me mad!
Tire spec size ?
Can’t remember
1998 Chevrolet C/K 1500 C1500 Silverado 5.3L V8 4-Speed Automatic Extended Cab 4X2!
THEY DIDN'T MAKE A 5.3 IN 1998 UNLESS YOU CAN SWAP ONE!!😪😪
Wrong. 5.7 liter 350 cubic inches.
5.7L multipoint fuel injected 350

5.3 is called an "LS" swap in a truck like this man.
How much for this truck

The buzzing noise in a 1998 Chevy truck
Got a truck like this is decent condition for 500
Quiero comprar esa camioneta pickup Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab 1998 por favor quiero
Should have never sold my 97 Sierra
My 98 K1500 doesn't look as nice. But it has similar attributes.
1:58 what the hell is that stupid freaking buzzing noise
I think whenever I pushed the seat back, it just started goin nuts
Mine sounds like that when headlights are on and door open

Maybe $2k with those miles, interior condition and lack of options…

180 HP...No Thanks
255 HP 330 LB. FT torque and will easily make 350+ HP and God knows how much torque with the right parts and money thrown at it
Those L31 motors have some of the best heads ever produced
