On the one hand, I love this guy. Dudes a really fun character. On the other hand he's a failure as a villain. Not because he lost. Not because he's not villainous. But because he's just so charismatic ya just can't help but want him to win.
It really is cool seeing Jack wielding his sword while in his season 5 attire. Given that there was some official art of bearded Jack wielding it, it always felt like a bit of a shame that Jack immediately got his classic look back when he retrieved it. Hell, it's just great seeing fully armored Jack some more. It sucked just as much seeing how that outfit had such little presence.
Supposedly the last season had a tight schedule and was only allowed 10 episodes. Which is probably why the first 3 episodes are REALLY dark in comparison to the rest and why so much stuff gets handled a tad unceremoniously. They were really pressed for time 😒

I suppose in an ideal world, Samurai Jack could have another season in addition to the 5th, maybe more episodes for each, to properly wrap things up, but honestly, just getting a proper, satisfying conclusion to Jack's long journey is enough for me, especially after we waited about a decade for it.
I'd have made him summon some particularly powerful foes as minibosses and then make the last boss an enemy rush where he'll summon the weaker enemies as well as the minibosses in an endless horde.
The way Jack approaches Scaramouche in this game proves that Jack is still angry about his previous comment from Season 5 about him being a lesser warrior since he didn't know where the hell his sword went. How man times do we need to teach you this lesson mr funny robot man?
Not sure if he was particularly pissed about that comment, but it was nonetheless satisfying seeing Jack respond to Scaramouche with how he was dead silent against him in the show proper.
Just an unpopular opinion, they should've made the game animations a little choppy to add a 2D animation Style to it, just like the original animation framing style from the cartoon itself, it's kinda odd to watch these characters moving at 60 fps.
Just imagine if Scaramouche had gotten a redemption arc, told Aku to Eff himself, and became a roaming musical mecha-samurai, helping people instead of hurting them, simply enjoying the company of the humans who love the sound of his music. It's been proven that robots in this universe CAN go against their programming and show compassion, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility, in an alternate reality, for Scaramouche to become a hero, and, let's face it, we all wanted to see this character become a good guy and fight alongside Jack.
I am guessing that ghost appears a LOT. Forgot his name... Also, if you want to keep some weapon intact against Scaramouche, don't use it. His Dagger breaks them if they are not the Holy Sword.
This fight will never be complete with "C'mon Sammy baby, whip it out. You know what I'm talking about. That crazy sword! Let's get, Slicin' N' Dicin' Swingin' and Bashin' HACKIN' AND SLASHIN'! Babe."

It seems like Scaramouche's mask was done in Substance Painter with smart materials, while Jack was hand-drawn, and the other stuff was just picked from whatever was in the bin at the time. Also the directing is... something.
Everyone here wishing we got more of Scaramouche But almost all of Aku's men and minions, (Demongo, Pig Sheriff, The cowboy couple,) all just appear for one episode and we don't really see them again (Not counting Demongo now thoufj i mean)
One of my favorite noises scaramouche makes is the long and drawn out “AAAARrRrRrRrRrRrRGH” when he gets hit Also, does that mean we get to see a new encounter with the scotsman, because jack had defeated aku in the past and they never met each other?
Still makes me wish the late Mako had still voiced Aku til the series end until he was headhunted by Nickelodeon to voice a character ( I forget which) on Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I'd say the motion is alright but it the whole game feels underdeveloped. Most scenes don't have the touch that the show provided.
The original cartoon wasn't really choppy though, they just used a lot of limited animation.
