- I got off work and was asked to go fishing with a coworker... so I did what any responsible person would do, I went fishing. We tried to hit the Petersburg dam first but the water was running over the spillway at a rapid pace. It was just unfishable where we wanted to go so we changed plans and headed to the Raystown Lake Spillway and fish for smallmouth instead. Turned out to be a productive, fun day.
Great Day Catching Fish But You Know Gotta Check Those Knots and Line But Still A Awesome Day ✌️
It definitely was a fun day! Thanks for watching!
Now that’s fishin’. Walking the river just the way I started out… great catches, great video!!
It was a fun, but tiring day. I had been awake for over 24 hours... I worked the night prior. Always a good time to fish! LOL! I love getting back to basics and catching a bunch of bass! Thanks for watching my friend!
Your line snapped because it’s getting nicked by the rocks. You need to check your line for nicks after you catch each fish or after you’ve felt your line hit bottom. It happens quite a bit
Great adventure bri
Thanks Brian! I tried to make a Petersburg dam video but they've closed the hydroelectric part and water was just free flowing over where we were trying to get to, to fish. So, we ended up at the Raystown spillway. As always, thanks for watching!
@@BigBRebooted nice bri..hopefully u get to try get over their again
Is that a fake hellgie you use?? I never used a fake one I use live ones and was curious to how the fake ones of stone cats and hellgies would work great video for sure
I used to use only live hellgrammites that I would kick for before I would go out fishing. 3 years or so ago I came across these NIKKO hellgrammites watching Creek Fishing Adventures. I decided to buy some and try them out. I no longer use live. I have figured out a technique/set up that really works. I've literally caught hundreds of bass in just the last couple of months using them. I've tried different soft plastic manufacturers, but I continue to return to NIKKO because they work and they last. They are also pretty salty in price. To me, they're worth it. Thanks for watching. (Oh, I just put out a video on how I use these hellgrammites. Check it out. It really works!)
