Hey its possible to play some games splitscreen mode, on two different? like split 1 window into two monitors? so one player will be playing on first monitor and other player on second?
I really need to say that this app became the problem, my virtual monitor needed a telescope to see the text. Not as advertised but I accept that it is useful in other ways. I appreciated the trial version. The taskbars!!! My god drop the setup prompts.
I dunno how I lived without virtual monitors. Virtual desktops are just broken, so this is the next best thing!
I'm not donig any coding at the moment, but when I was in the mood for it I would utilize my 3 monitors like this:
Left: browser that I'm coding pages for
Center: Visual Studio Code
Right: UA-cam music or maybe a tutorial somewhere.

1) Can we have 1 group of wallpapers for 1 monitor and another group for another monitor. Asking as some monitors I have are in portrait mode and some in landscape mode.

i spit into 2 screen hit apply and nothing happens. so what am I missing with this display fusion.
Your first point is already a default feature in Windows. Settings -> Personalization -> Taskbar -> Show Taskbar Buttons on taskbar where window is open. Point 2 can also already be done by default in windows with keyboard shortcut WIN+Shift+Arrow
No. The first point is that you can also pin programs to a certain window's taskbar and so they will launch on that window every time and stay organized how you like. Point 2, I can change that button to make it go to any specific display I want depending how I set up that button. I can send a window from display 1, skip display 2, and go all the way to display 3 if I wanted.
The benefit of the software is that it gives you a lot more control and additional functionality than what windows provides by default.
@@_Caddac Having just gone through this battle with monitors of different size and resolution last week, neither of the Windows options do what DF does so cleanly and seamlessly. Like, in a matter of seconds the taskbar, which I battled for a whole day, did exactly what I wanted; I didn't know how it happened!!
Also, for me, the WinShiftArrow would usually glitch the viewing area to a corner or something and cut off half of the game/program. Not with DF.
Long story short. Both problems solved perfectly....and FREE.
Function to lock/unlock mouse cursor to window was unavailable for free version so I went with DMT instead. Cool video!
Does display fusion allow me to play a fullscreen game on one monitor while I do whatever else on my second monitor? Because right now as im not using display fusion or any other third party app everytime I click on my second monitor my game that im playing on the first monitor always alt tabs out.
Your key there would be to run the games in windowed fullscreen instead of fullscreen.

When I open a game on my main it doesn’t even go there it goes to my second and doesn’t even goto the main and I have extend on

I'm trying to run the same app on both screens but be able to interact with them differently. Would this allow me to do that? As of right now whatever I open and do on one it does on the other. How to I get two "separate" monitors?

the only negative is that when you try to screenshare, programs don' recognize the virtual monitors.
Found this very useful video, thanks lots. You show only productivity uses for DisplayFusion. How about for gaming? For example, I have a simple 2 monitor stacked vertically environment. Top monitor is NOT main display, but is 2K. Bottom monitor is the main display but is only 1080p. You probably know where I am going with this. Games, especially older titles, often do not have graphics settings to allow choice of which monitor to launch onto. I want to have ALL my games launch and run on the 2K display, regardless if they offer 2K resolution or not.
Some games can be "fooled" - launch the game on the 1080p bottom monitor, go to graphics settings and select windowed mode 1080p and then move the window onto the top 2K monitor and go back to fullscreen mode. Some games will obey this selection. Others will be annoying and go back to the bottom 1080p monitor once turning off the windowed mode.
Things like that.
Can DisplayFusion free/pro allow me to permanently dictate where games will launch, regardless of fullscreen/windowed mode?
I've been out of gaming for a very long time, but I must admit I am surprised to find very little if any software that can force what I consider to be a pretty basic bit of functionality.

The best way to do that would be to mark the display you want to play on as the Main Display in Windows.
Yeah, thanks. Looking for an alternative as I described. Because of the physical positioning of my monitors, I want the bottom, 1080p monitor to be the main display, with the top 2K, larger monitor to be secondary.

@joesatchton212 yeah I've only been able to do this with standard programs, not full screen stuff like games. If you pin the program to the toolbar on another monitor, that's the monitor it will open on by default. Again though, don't know if it works with full screen apps like games
I bought a Samsung Ark.. this is what I needed to make the monitor worth it for 1 pc use.

Can't lie i hate i got this program. The settings i set here have been permanently implemented in my pc now. Even after restoring it to what it was in the program still didn't work. I uninstalled it and the settings from this program have remained. I've now sent a customer complaint to them, hopefully, they can help me restore my settings otherwise i will have to just do a factory rest.

wowwww! wallpaper stuff. I wish I would have spent some money on ringtones back in the day. having spent $3.99 for a 30 second audio file with treehouse tin can phone quality would have allowed me to hold that ringtone in my hand and scratch it behind the ears.

I love this program. I just wish I wasn't stuck with my normal taskbar on my main monitor
I can't remember exactly but I think if you hide the windows taskbar you can replace it with the display fusion one
@@_Caddac yea I looked in the taskbar settings and I didn't see anything that looked like it would do that. maybe I'll find something eventually
