    He was always fighting much bigger men than him, and came up as winer in most of those fights. Takes big balls for that, today fighters all would prefer to lose weight than fight men like Mike fought. He is a great fighter and one of a kind.

      He was 23 when he lost to Buster Douglas and was 30 years old facing a 34 year old Holyfield, you have no idea what you are talking about. Btw he was 45-1 and was as high as 25-1 in favor prior to losing Holyfield in 1996. He isn’t even top 10 all time heavyweight boxer.

      BS, Tyson lost to Douglas in his early 20’s and was only 30 when he lost to Holyfield. In fact he DODGED Holyfield for years. When Holyfield became a heavyweight in the late 80’s he immediately wanted to fight Tyson but Tyson and his camp didn’t want the fight, it wasn’t until 1991 that Tyson agreed to fight him, but then pulled out of the fight with an “injury” and then ended up going to jail, which is why they didn’t get to fight until 1996.

      @SKa-tt9nm Рік тому +5

      Tyson does not have the longest championship record nor is he even close. Joe Lewis has the most title defenses at heavyweight, followed by klitschko. Hell, Larry Holmes was champion for 7.5 years. That’s just at heavy, the list numbers into dozens of boxers if you count other divisions.
      If you came here and announced “I know nothing about boxing, help me, I’m an idiot”, it would be more useful than what you did. At least it would be honest.

    I met Mike Tyson in 1989 a few days after the Bruno fight. I was 17 years old and my dad brought me to a conference in Las Vegas . He was sitting in a limo outside of the west gate casino. My hat off my head, for this hero, there was never any hero for me than Mike the iron man. Anyway there is no hero for all generations. Other preferred to fight with him when noticing that age and some problem were catching up with him. For me he is still the iron man. Here he is still the hero for me. Yes the grap will always go up from the starting point and reaches the pick of the mountain, and is always the beauty of it when is slowly going down and the true legend knows when to quit. Big big up to you Iron Mike. You have shown the world how to become a heavy weght at age 19 -20 great knws for me. !!!

    I truly believe that Mike Tyson in his prime, was the best to ever do it. He spiraled out of control quickly, and boxing stopped being a priority.. he lost his warrior spirit - you can see it in his fights. It's a damn shame he didn't live up to his full potential.. it's also insane that what he's accomplished, wasn't even close to what he really could have. The quickest, smartest, most accurate and all around powerful boxer ever. 🫡

      @mbjleeroy-gc9ug why can't you accept that going through a tragedy and doing drugs all the time will wreck somebody's potential right in the middle of their prime? Oh... because you haven't had to go through that, and also aren't smart enough to figure out what it does to a person... right.
