Nightwish music and song writer was a perfect fit for Floors voice. I like all her work before Nightwish but she became the Goddess as their lead singer. I've seen them 10 times all over the world, I still go as often as possible.
A lady with an immense vocal talent, never really got into After Forever but Revamp left me in awe, not a fan of her "lyrical" vocals as she lacks training but surely would get there but a super fan of her raw, powerful chest vocals, love her romanticide and seven days to the wolves in Nw, even though I long to see her fronting her own band where she can shine. One of the best modern metal singers out there.
Ligeia Noire Actually her lyrical stuff is not as advanced some others but pretty good. she just doesn't have the training or stamina to do a lot of it during these concerts. Though there are certain performances with some styles of lyrical singing that she did pretty good even live. like dreamflight. she does that beautifully in many performances. Trial of monsters at graspop she did decently considering. And somehow she does decent with misery's no crime despite swapping back and forth with growls and lyrical singing. So you know. The notes that require the most tight control in a higher range are a little harder to do while on stage head banging with lots of physical activity and now adding in harsh vocals with the mix
the years are completely wrong! decipher is from 2001, exordium 2003, invisible circles 2004, remagine 2005, after forever 2007... but the video was very well done anyway
Floor's original band, After Forever covered the song in a lot of concerts. The clip is from a show they did in the Netherlands at a club called W2 Poppeda.
Iron Maiden cover Is from 1997? I have doubts. "Digital Deceit" must be from 2004, the year of the album "Invisible Circles". "Energize Me" Is from "After Forever" album of 2007...

Fer Mun thank you! I've listened to After Forever since years but never stumbled across this cover. isn't it awesome how Floor worked on her techniques and now performs this very song with Nightwish? she's legend
that the same feeling I had when I listened to her singing the same song with Nightwish, It would have been awesome if she had sung the song with operatic style just like with AF
If you want opera, Tarja or Floor are great, if you want anything other than opera, there's only one girl for the job. Ghost Love Score Floorgasm is awesome though!
It makes no sense to me how anyone can think Tarja is better than floor. A singer who has only developed her head voice and not her other registers[Only recently has started to] cannot be better. There, I said it!
@@Rosannasfriend Tarja has always had a well developed chest register. It was a stylistic choice to only use head voice after 2002, then she came back to her roots. (Seriously, wtf are you on about?) And a classical singer is always better than a singer who belts. Pop singers belt.
@@kimberlyh.1090 'Head' voice is classical. 'Chest' is more rocky. And the thing that really makes classical stand out is precision. Tarja is a classically trained vocalist, with minimal music theater training. That is why she failed at chest singing in '02 - it's not in her toolbox. Floor is trained in both classical and music theater, and applies both styles to each other. This makes Floor one of the most versatile vocalists alive. If she had another octave, she'd be *the* most versatile.
So she's always been amazing then. Probably one of the most consistent singers ever.
I know Im kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to stream new series online ?
At the beginning Floor Jansen was perfect. Now Perfectnes is trying to become Floor Jansen
Sorry i have to say it. She is sooo gdamnit good looking. Nice vocals but on stage its just 😛

Dankeschön ☺ . Forr deine Simme , ist echt so wahr 🤘👍👌
After Forever and ReVamp are best of Floor Jansen in my opinion. ❤
Her voice even fits to Iron Maiden material, it is unbelievable
If time travel is ever achieved, I would take Floor to audition for Iron Maiden in 1993 (after Bruce Dickinson originally left the band).
@@mmnn9417 Oh. And time travel is not yet available - so much for that idea.

A Beautiful, Powerful Voice.
Floor Jansen; the Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth, so help me Odin. The greatest non-opera genre vocalist in the world.
magnificent Floor as always
Yes Floor is wonderful
She is perfect queen metal 😍

Yeah of course but I am not a fan of her head voice, I prefer deeper, heavier ones but the rest I agree completely.
Ligeia Noire so definitely more a fan of the epic belting?
Oh yes.
Hm Why Wright that she lack vokal training she even are are a conervatory trained opera singer

Lady floor jensen is so badass and talented love her🤘🤘🤘🤘
Look for Ayreon, you will find both studio and live appearances of both Floor and Marko. Live was mostly in Tiburg, NL
Floor and I have the same birthday, but ten years apart.
Wowww love Floor.

Thanks for your comment. The years I am using, are the ones the music videos/performances were filmed or released. Not when the albums were made.
And Floor did join After Forever at the ripe age of 16....
Wow she covered "She's My Sin" even in 2005!? May I ask in which concert...?

Hello, excuse me, could you tell me what is the song of the year 2012?...
Mary Castilleja I lost myself by ReVamp
Floor obviously blossomed into Nightwish.
Is that Simone at 6:13 ?
Yes

She could join Nightwish in 1986.
I do not mean to say this in any disrespectfull way but man... Her size, the way she moves, her voice... She must be such a lioness in bed.
I am a simple man as well
Although I'm not a fan, she sure can carry a tune.
1997 á 2012
