Master of the Delve is a ongoing video series where I explore everything Delves have to offer in World of Warcraft. I'm trying obtain all achievements and complete all aspects of delves. In these videos I'll be doing full playthroughs of each variant of all 13 Delves available in season 1 of The War Within. Most of these will be from the perspective of a solo player, but I will occasionally have some group play as well. Delves is the best thing Blizzard ever did for solo players. There are so many reasons players want to play solo. There is the reason of preference and, like me, the reason of physical disability.
yeah, I agree. I'm looking forward to seeing some fresh Delve content for Season 2. The only issue with them currently is how much I've been playing them, there is some natural burnout happening.
Ran this one last night for the first time at T8 as a Dest Warlock (ilvl 591). Run was ok with Brann as dps (he’s level 20) until the end boss. Boss kept killing me until I switched Brann to healer and killed him first time then. Defo don’t be afraid to switch Brann’s spec as needed. Anyway, good content, +1 sub.
I really appreciate the video thanks for explaining I haven't gotten into delves too much but I plan on running them heavy this week. I thought if you cleared everything you would get better loot at the end. Gosh, the spores I wish once they die they stay dead they don't need to repop. I look forward to more of your videos thanks again.
The loot is really good actually. Delves offer the highest iLvL gear next to mythic raiding and you add 616 IlvL gear to your great vault for clearing T8 and above. You also get a bunch of currency to buy cosmetics. Thanks for watching!
Zek'vir impowered mobs are the key to increasing your delver's journey for the season. If you clear all of them in a delve you gain 150 points to your journey.
Yes i like the idea. I still need to do an 8 as I am a very casual player these days.. I am trying to play more though this expansion. I enjoy a mix of solo and group content.
I think the game is structured to allow people to play at their own pace now and that is really cool. Hopefully these videos can help out some people getting into Delves a bit more casually.
@@WraithRPG I agree! The game has definitely changed over the years. I have been playing since BC. I use to be a main tank in several guilds back in the day but don't have the time at the moment to dedicate to it. Thank you for your reply.
I usually run healer, but Branns damage feels a lot worse even with that buff after they fixed the bugs. His healing just seems a lot more impactful imo
@@chrisparker6992 For solo in t11s the value you get out of Brann healing is a lot more than you get out of him as a DPS. In groups with a healer his DPS is exceptional.
after testing dps brann and healer bran do the same amount of dps. The only difference is that dps brann has an excute ability that will instantly kill a mob sub 40% every once in a while. That is why dps brann speeds up a delve clear.
@@WraithRPG From my experience if your at ilvl or very skilled at your class then swapping for dps brann is the play to just go quicker. Then again on my 610 prot warrior i play healer brann and pull 4-6 packs at once. Full clear rooms at once. If you stagger picking up the potions you can extend and stack the hot higher and higher. Your able to out pace the damage incoming with the pots + ignore pain/shield block.

The DPS spec on brann has been nerfed so hard, that his impact as healer makes a much bigger difference
I didn’t present any data. I’m just doing a play though and talking through my personal experiences in delves. And I’m pretty sure I recommend running brann as heals. If you want second by second analytical updates on delve changes go find some data mining math head. Thanks for the interaction though, helps the video grow!

I love watching you do delves. I don’t love the spores but I hate underwater even more. I avoid those delves.

I’ve dropped off with delves I need to get back into it. Healing a delve takes so long for me :(

interesting. if that's all that changes then you're swapping the execute for the potion drops. I like the potions more for my T11's for sure.
