People are constantly telling me that my Genshin ocs capture the games style amazingly and the amount of detail is just right. But I still feel like it needs to be more like Genshin, so I’m sure this will help a lot
I like creating alternative reality versions of Genshin characters (or just HoYo characters in general), so they're really kind of like inspired by them. And then I transform them sort of into their own character, kinda like an OC that's moreso based on the Genshin character. This video is pretty helpful for that, so thanks! 😁

Also I had the brilliant idea of making a Dottore expy just because I disliked him and wanted to turn him into a butt-monkey Team Rocket ahh villain that blasts off every "episode". I'm afraid this might happen in Genshin that they'll tone down the character in order to milk money from his fanbase and suddenly even Wanderer is buddies with him lol
Honestly I’m just amazed with mihoyo. I get there are tons of people working on designs, but they have at least 3 games with tons of characters who all look stunning. Meanwhile I can’t even draw a different style of male hair
The fact when you were mentioning kaeya, I actually was working on an oc that is very associated with kaeya, being related also residing in Mondstadt, living with kaeya-
Where exactly did you look for the site at 4:09 ? I tried the fandom wiki but it didn’t look the same as in the video which had a lot more detail about the clothing and local specialties.

I used notion here and in it I put screenshots from the genshin impact wiki (if you Google genshin impact wiki it should show up, there's a lot of information about Genshin Impact on it) :)
