Thank you! I believe this video has also saved me the trouble of installing the actual tow tap in the line . I'll carry this tool on my ski for when it's needed. Awesome!
That is probably a smarter investment than actually installing a valve inside the ski. Chances are you won't ever need to be towed and one of these pinch pliers can be used literally in seconds. As far as which hose to clamp simply locate the line going to your flush port...follow it to a Y fitting...the other hose connected to the Y is the one to pinch off. You can also pinch it off on the other side of the Y (the side with a single line). These pliers are plastic, will never corrode and the best thing is not having to stand on your head for half an hour installing one of those valves.
thanks a lot !! This is the only video on the world about this import issue. The manufacters should do this simple. Or do they just want us to damage our engines and buy new ones ?
I'm not sure, and maybe it has different names for different brands. For the Sea Doo, there is a picture in the manual showing where to place the clamp. Have a bit of a goggle on Google.
@@tapmad thanks mate. also, i assume this clamp cant be used unless you take off the rear deck panel yeah ? i.e. can that hose be reached with just the front seat popped off ? (just trying to understnad if its also worth carrying tools to take off the rear deck, if a breakdown occurs)
