    I love when Asa mom shares all her ideas. She really needs her own channel.

    Oh my goodness, can your mom have a regular spot where she teaches you all a new homemaking skill?
    She’s a wonderful teacher with you all as the perfect students. Maybe you could record a bunch of Nana videos at one time. So much fun!

    Your mom is great. I love that after your hand is in the brine she asked if your hands were clean. 😆 She always has fun and useful projects that everyone could benefit from.

    I was actually just googling how to do this but didnt know if it would actually work. Momma homesteader master saved the day for me! I love how enthusiastic and happy she is about everything. Shes a wealth of knowledge and I'd love to hear more of her tips. She makes me feel so confident trying this now.

    I wish i could do that, but my fridge is so small, a gallon of milk is difficult to keep in there! I was freezing the juice, in cubes, as Asa said, but my freezer is even tiny!

      @@roxanamcglinchey6613 thank you! I know nothing about any of this. My mom passed away when I was 25, so there was so much stuff I have thought of over the years that I should have asked. 🥹

    Love this woman so much! I do this by partially quartering meyer lemons in a brine. With meyers you use the preserved peel, its super yummy diced into salads and soups or added to cocktails. I always keep a big jar in the fridge!

    "Stone" soup, not "rock" soup. Lemon sauerkraut style. I will have to try this. My lemon tree needs to be unloaded some right now. I like to leave a few to use as I need and they stay fresh on the tree, but I need to lighten the load a bit to get good fruit set for the next cycle.

    After the 3 days on the counter you said they go in the fridge. Do they then stay in the fridge until they are used? I’m thinking that is a lot of fridge space.

  • @alisonboyce9446
    @alisonboyce9446 9 місяців тому +1

    Now the real question is, was this able to sit on the counter long enough to make it to the fridge or did it bother abbie that there was something that needed to be dumped out?

    Asa I don't think you should be trying to teach about ADHD witthout degree of some type. Some of the things you are saying My Dr does not agree with.I think you may confusing people. Do you have any degree to say the things you are saying? Having ADHD does not qualify you.

    • @moremaass
      @moremaass  9 місяців тому +6

      This is a video about lemons and the person teaching is very experienced with food preservation because it's the life she lives...the same could be said for the video you meant to comment on but that's not on this channel. What you'll learn in life is that you can get far more expertise and knowledge from life experiences and on-the-job training (so to speak) than you could ever get from a text book or in a classroom. That being said, I don't teach people anything, I share my experiences from my life. I've learned a ton from other people with ADHD about myself and about autism from people with an autism diagnosis. Ask any therapist, teacher, or caregiver...the real education begins when you start working in the field with people with the actual diagnosis.
