Thank you Alan and Jasmine for a interesting vlog loved it. Am going to try and visit that place love all things industrial. Shows how much as changed over the years. Not for better some of it. Have great week.
What a wonderful step back to times gone by. You can almost taste the atmosphere of the surrounding areas too. Plus having a feel to what things were like with such historic buildings & work shops that were filled with locals going about their everyday lives. Thanks for this fantastic Vlog Alan & Jasmine. & all the people that make it possible for generations to see how life was back in the days that have past us all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's a fantastic place to visit and we have been somewhere similar but further afield, which will be the subject of a future vlog. All the best Alan and Jasmine.

Thanks Alan and Lovely Jasmine for taking us on a fantastic day out that was very interesting. It's good to see that you are both doing well. Take care and all the best. Stevie
An amazing place..so glad so much history has been preserved for us to see in this modern day and age……amazing how things were developed back then,,,,,
What an incredible look at a life long past. Full credit to everyone involved in setting the town up and maintaining it to such a high standard. The people in the various buildings are a wonderful addition, bringing life to the whole area. Stunning area. Thank you for a fabulous well narrated vlog....Cheers.
Thank you so much Jane, that’s very kind of you to say. We’re lucky to have several attractions like this throughout the country. All the best Alan and Jasmine.
Greetings, Lovely informative fascinating tour of history... Thank You Owl in carpenters and undertakers ... Appreciate the captions...👏🏾👍🏾 All the Best, TTFN Cheers Xx
Well, that was quite wonderful. Thanks for taking us. I am amazed at the size of the whole place. I love going to see places like that, so interesting, informative and lots of fun. Stay well and safe.
I enjoyed this vlog. We visited there a few years ago and it was a great day out. So much to learn, and so well laid out. The staff dressed up and went right into character, speaking to us as if we were back in time. Fantastic, thank you. xx
Very entertaining and enjoyable to watch. Reminds me very much of a similar Village and Museum near us, Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum located in Dearborn, MI. So important to preserve the past for the future. The Clydesdale horse was a great touch as were all the “in character” workers. Life wasn’t easy back in the day as your vlog shows. So much manual labor to just get by. Take care and stay safe. Looking forward to the next vlog.
Hi Mary Jane, thanks so much for your lovely comment. It’s good that there are places world wide that look to preserve our past history, how can we know where we’re going if we don’t know what’s gone on before. All the best, take care.
I used to live in iron bridge and spent many an hour and Blists Hill, I also when I was 17 worked at the hotel you stayed at (many years ago now). Beautiful place and surrounded by history at every turn
That's very kind of you to say, thank you so much, we love visiting places like this and have done so just recently, so more to come. Alan and Jasmine.
Hi Alan and Jasmine, what a lovely video... I had no idea that the area offers so much to see. I think that you made a wise choice in visiting when you did as it must be very busy in peak season. Good to see you both looking so well and happy.. 🍷🍷
Hi Bill and Marcella, hope all well, I'm glad you enjoyed watching. Thank you so much for your Easter card and letter. What an interesting house you live in. I hope you enjoyed the Abba tribute band. All the best, Alan and Jasmine.
Thank you for sharing your day out at the living museum. It is very fortunate that people have saved the buildings and equipment of the era. Very enjoyable to watch. You timed your exit well, to miss the rain. Thanks again both for sharing.
What a fabulous place! Thank you so much Alan and Jasmine for taking us along. We will definitely include this in our next visit to the UK. Wishing you well, Bill and Alice in Idaho USA 💕
Really enjoyed this one Alan. quite interesting as some excellent music choices as well. I look forward to your next installment. I wish you and Jasmine all the very best !
Very interesting vlog, it's' a good few years since I've been there so i must try to get there again. One thing I do remember though was in the yard of what I think was the Toll House was a very large Tamworth pig which we discovered was very fond of Mint Imperials
Interesting commentary & video. I was interested in the wood working area and, in fact, my grandfather was a lumberman. He had a mill that had a lot of old time tools that he still used. Thanks for your efforts.
Hi Alan and Jasmine, as always a entertaining vlog, we visited here some time ago and very much enjoyed it, thanks for sharing and please keep up the good work, take care and stay safe both of you 😀
Thank you so much Peter, glad you enjoyed watching. You will appreciate there's so much more to see than what we covered. All the best, take care. Alan and Jasmine
Thanks Larry, I've looked, that's quite a sizeable festival, we have a large one over here called The Great Dorset Steam Fair, which is held in August. I'm partial to chicken. Cheers, Alan and Jasmine.
Hi Alan Jasmine,,what a great blog so interesting the old train the first one made what a bit of engineering that was so many things to look at its a sham it was not all working especially the steam engines and so on .where did they get all the equipment from so much of it ,so glad I did not have to where them corsets lol 😂 or never meet a woman wearing one well I found this so interesting so till next time take care keep yourself safe,John 🥰🤗🥸🤩😎🥸
Hi John. I have seen the replica Trevithick loco in action 11 years ago but couldn’t find my footage, which I suspect might be on an old computer. I will though keep searching. I think the film was taken on a phone camera, so not stored in the same way as most of my other footage. A corset wouldn’t suit you! All the best, take care.
Hi Alan, Hi Jasmine. What a lovely vlog, very interesting seeing the replica old town. I suppose in one way it was nice to walk around without crowds, the downside is some areas may be closed and less tours and demos. ❤
Thanks Sheila, it was February, so reasonably quiet and not much was operating. There's a lot more to see there, including a funicular railway, which is presently undergoing some repair and a narrow gauge railway which takes you into a mine, I've been on that before - great fun!
I could never make up my mind about those open-air museums where people dress up in period costumes, but the volunteers and I presume they are volunteers seem to be very knowledgeable and anything that celebrates our industrial heritage is okay by me. Thank you, Alan and Jasmine, for sharing your day out with us hangers-on. All the best and a bye for now
Hi Stephen. I think it's fantastic that our industrial heritage is being preserved, even with relocated and rebuilt buildings, they are after all original (many of them). The tile works and blast furnaces on site are original. Most museums like this have a high reliance on volunteers but I don't know how this one actually operates. All the best, take care.
Thank you Alan and Jasmine for a interesting vlog loved it. Am going to try and visit that place love all things industrial. Shows how much as changed over the years. Not for better some of it. Have great week.

Guy Rowland, the Victorian ‘Policeman’, at Blists Hill.
