Moving on to a New Collection! Star Wars Figure Grading with CAS!

I have decided to start a new Star Wars Vintage Collection! But I want to be able to preserve these figures in the best way possible. I tried out Collection Archive Services to help me with that. Here are my thoughts on their services and the pros and cons of getting your figures graded.

I love that the Star Wars community has a bunch of stories like this. I was pretty poor growing up but now that i’m able to afford these toys and collectables, they are all purchased for the sole purpose for my kids.

I have been collecting vintage Star Wars for over 25 years. Nothing more rewarding then getting items on the card and graded. The value never goes down and it has such a cool factor to it. I have several 12 backs on the card. Still missing a few. It will be a fun, challenging journey!

Good luck. I kept my originals for back in the day, but they are much loved passed on to my kids who enjoyed them also

Welcome down the rabbit hole jaja jk. There are some awesome vintage groups such as the Imperial Commissary and Vintage alliance where moc items come up fairly regularly. My advice is try to narrow down your collecting focus, if you want only Kenner or only palitoy or only Lili ledy etc, or if you’re focusing on specific characters because it can be overwhelming at the beginning. But you are gonna have a ton of fun! MTFBWY!

I admire the people that can keep these pieces in the original packaging. I knew it can be super expensive getting original vintage line in original packaging etc. Im almost afraid to know the cost of some of these collections people have. With all the money you've invested in statues helmets and other collectible pieces I'm more than sure you could have bought a lot of the original vintage Star Wars figures already graded as an awesome investment indeed.....man that's a dream to own all original star wars figs from 77-85 on card.
