#zero regret should be the people who moved to Toms River in the late 70's and early 80's thinking they were getting a great real estate deal and got caught up in the exponential growth of the area and paid for it in ever increasing property taxes that went to building out the infrastructure like schools, sewer systems, government support services like police and fire etc. It was a tremendous cost curve they had to go through that was disillusioning.
My parents moved us down here in the early 70s. They believed (and I agree) that Toms River was the ideal town in which to raise their family. I grew up here (in the 70s & 80s) and moved back here in the late 90s to start and raise my family. The "cost curve" was/is worth every penny (imnsho)...

I was at the Halloween parade, it was fun. Too many pizza places to choose from. lol
