Extremely well done with this part, Finishing The Forest Navel, battling more bosses, and getting more trophies, and with that done, time for the forth area, Distant Spring, what awaits us, we will have to wait and see. Continue doing amazing.
Well, that wasn’t *quite* as anxiety-inducing as I feared. Except for fighting the kaiju-sized spider, but that was pretty cool, too. Especially since you played it smart by taking a small mob instead of an army. Well done! Hard to believe you’ve gotten so far in just a week (game time)! But there’s still a lot left to do. And I have a bad feeling that the last two areas are going to be…trouble.
Wollywogs got their name changed because "wog" is a racial slur in the UK. I think they were always called wollyhops in the PAL versions because of this.
@@thematiasmadness7010 That sounds like the complete opposite of dumb. If anything, that's perfectly reasonable. I think people are allowed to not wanting to see a racial slur in a game.
Never understood why the Wolly-hops were so despised. Male Shergrubs and Sherwigs are much more frustrating. Though I guess it really depends on how much you hate losing pikmin since those two can only kill them one at a time...I just know that I play deathless and those two have caused more resets then anything.
For me it's time spent fighting them, it just takes too long and I'm pretty sure they're the number one reason The Distant Spring is impossible to perfect on Challenge Mode.
For me, I just dislike them specifically because of Pikmin 1 and them being able to crush so many pikmin. Not helping is how it can take a while for the pikmin to respond in the first game, leaving them open for death. I don't mind the wollyhops in other games. As for sheargrubs, sure, they're annoying, especially with that invincibility glitch ensuring they take one pikmin before they die. But that's easily replaceable.
@@bretginn1419 Wait, that's a glitch? I thought they had armor or something that hardened them when they were eating because pikmin 1 is just unfair sometimes, lol.
@@slinkkangaroo2305 Yeah. Sheargrubs and I believe Shearwigs also had some weird coding issue where they just wouldn't take damage while eating. Wasn't armor. IIRC, they still recorded the damage and would take it all immediately after finishing their meal or if you tossed a pikmin directly on top of them. Don't think it was ever discovered what caused that issue. I think wollyhops also had a related problem as well, where they didn't have a cap for how many pikmin they could crush at once. Though that could also just be the crushing glitch, don't really remember.
0:42 Every time I see you throw the Yellow Pikmin holding the bomb rocks
I fear them exploding
A little part of my brain does it, too.
@@Hawlo It’s cause I’m so used to Pikmin 3, the minute you throw them the one holding the bomb automatically sets it off
I did not know blue pikmin would save others from drowning. Neat

I don’t know why but even if those things aren’t typical spiders they still creep me out

5:15 That's a hell of a bug.
17:32 And it's not a bad battle theme either.
My question is how did Olimar and his son fit into that cockpit together? And I know that the Dolphin doesn't have a second seat.
We already have 5 episodes, man time fly really fast
A mechanic that seems to be annoying in this game is Pikmin just randomly falling on the ground.
Probably an idea from the same creative mind who decided to implement tripping in Smash Bros Brawl.
More like 'Forest Anus'! >:O
Fun area though.
This is unrelated to Pikmin but, today is Thursday, wasn't Engage moved to Thursdays? (Or it was just a special ocassion?)
According to a recent Community posting, Pikmin will be uploaded everyday until completion.
I told you not to worry about it but yeah it’s only Pikmin for now.
Are you planning to try out the Pikmin 4 demo?
Already did, it's pretty fun.
