What’s especially neat about this game is that, despite the danger of being stranded on an alien planet without life-support, the tone is very kid-friendly, and also doesn’t take a lot of things too seriously. Examples include Olimar knowing what radiation is to value a Radiation Shield, but not knowing what a Geiger Counter is used for, and having a weapon that can blow up stars *not required* to beat the game.
I haven't raged at a game like this in years. 50+ resets in, I can barely think straight. Seeing everything fall apart because my pikmin didn't get sucked in by the armored beetle after finally making it past the snagrets made me want to throw my Switch at the wall. Finally pulled it off, though. Man, what a good feeling. I'm not looking forward to the Pikmin 2 7-day challenge...
Speaking if the Arnored cannon beetle, im very excited to finally see it return for pikmin 4! It's such a cool looking enemy and it's a shame it never showed up again after this one.

You beat this level faster than most lets players the fastest person i saw beat the forest of hope was chuggaconroy you just earned a new fan dude too bad theres only 5 pikmin games but i still look forward to yojr other vids after binjing the pikmin ones
When I was young, my mom once looked at me playing Pikmin 2 and told me that the Pikmin look like ants. And, well, she kinda isn't wrong; they sure do *behave* a lot like them.
I gotta wonder if the planet's radiation has worn off overtime and oatchi had a growth spurt due to the extra oxigen in the atmosphere or oatchi is now a radioactive dog in pikmin 4 :)
Interesting thought! Notably Chernobyl has wildlife surviving in it, despite the deadly radiation. Though most of the wildlife tends to stay away from the most radiated areas, from what I know.
@@cpctheshinymew5381 Try it on Challenge Mode, there's two Bulborb and a Pearl up there and if you only use blues to bring them back, they should drop down and go through the water.

It's larva we're in 2 and 3 respectfully, but yea seeing the adult version of it again is gonna be cool
Indeed! We only got some of its larvae forms in the sequels, so it's great to see it return in great glory. Same with the Mamuta!
I like how some of the parts actually add to the look of the ship
