Great vid. I will visit mon frère en France 🇫🇷 who lives at the Tarn valley this summer and I want to take my drone and be safe and legal, so merci for l’information 👍🏻 🛸 📸 🇬🇧 🇫🇷
Thanks Maxime, very informative video👍 I can add to this that sometimes (as "owners") you might have to ask permission from the local mayor to fly somewhere as I discovered in Bretagne at the Cote de grant Rose.
Actually it’s always better to ask before flying on « tourist » spot. Most of them will be overcrowded and drones will be forbidden. But according to drone regulations, depending on the since of your drone, if you respect the Max altitude allowed, you don’t need to ask for permission, except if you’re flying over someone’s property
Thanks for your video, before that I found the Geoportal site and already asked questions there, but you explained everything in detail. I believe that France is the most difficult country in this regard. I was going to do a couple of flights here this summer but I probably better not do it, despite the fact that I have an A1 / A3 license
@@eMxPi The fact is that I wanted to fly in the suburbs of Paris where I would arrive, but I saw that the whole of Paris was closed, while on UA-cam there are videos taken from a drone in the very center next to the Eiffel Tower
Regarding theses videos, either they had the authorization, but it’s really hard to get, or they flew and were lucky. BUT many people are coming to me saying that the cops are coming very quickly but drone confiscation, fines and potentially jail… and that’s the reason why laws are more and more restrictives… best advice: avoid flying in Paris
@@eMxPi Yes, that’s why I won’t even ask the officials anything further, I just won’t fly in the France, not only in Paris but throughout France, it’s really difficult, in that moment when laws all over Europe have simplified our industry and now it’s not difficult , but in your counrty it has become even stricter ... a paradox.
Thanks Maxine I have a problem when I try to register my aircraft Alpha tango does not have a GBR in the pull down menu. I am also unable to register my flying ID. Perhaps you could help?
Thank you Maxime, I live in Paris and I was wondering if I can fly a DJI Avata near Bois de Vincennes after registering in Alphatango?, where there is less crowd…. Thanks in advance.
Using it inside a building with the permission of the owner is fine, but outside is forbidden (as you can see on geoportail). My advice do not fly, unless you have the agreement of the authorities 😉
No it’s not. And strictly forbidden! I made a video about the drone regulations in France : ua-cam.com/video/1wYBJhs5pys/v-deo.html you’ll find all the useful links to know if you can fly a drone or not!
Tell me in the comments if you need more about being pro

It’s still allowed to fly in France (regarding Jordan for instance) but we’ve a lot of limitations…

Yes. I know maybe because a lot of people have pushed the limits too far…
Thanks Maxime! Do I need the online formation in Alphatango in order to fly a C0 label drone if I have my operator number and my A1/A3 in Spain?
It’s better to do the online formation. It’s free and fast

Hi, I think it’s because UK is outside Europe and the regulations can’t apply
Thanks Maxime 👍
@andyl2201 anytime. Stay tuned for more and fly safe 😉

I’ve a question , is alphatango formation available in English language or only in French?
In both language !
What about the areas that are light red but not dark red. Are there restrictions
Clic on it and you’ll see 😉
You cannot still fly
Legislation have changed since I posted this. Best advice not to fly above people and be careful in cities
@@eMxPi yes indeed but in EASA countries you can fly c0 drones in cities and over people without worries :D:D
@mirkoema according to new regulations yes, but people and cops are not all aware of it and are more likely to report you…
@@eMxPi :( AlphaTango just answered to me that it is still forbidden :((((
@mirkoema yes régulation hasn’t been updated…
