Easy one to compare - 2003 FIA GT A1 Ring pole: 1:30.856. 2001 DTM A1 Ring pole: 1:28.713. Two seconds faster!

We nee such cars again - Opel needs to have a touring car with strycek driving - they would win for sure - long term - opel is missed badly at DTM and long time endurance races

According to wikipedia it's a Spiess Tuning 4.0 V8

With an 180 degree flat plane crankshaft, that is why it sounds like this, most road going V8:s have a 90 degree cross plane crankshaft, which gives that v8 rumble we all know.
