My family farm is struggling so much to keep our family farm still in the family since the 1800 ……. It makes me so sad to see family’s devastated by the current dairy industry ….. How much money is being put into this barn with robots and state of the art equipment, when family mom and pop farms are going out of business and there family heritage is being lost for ever . There is know way you could afford an operation like this unless you have endless of money or know someone that can use funding or grants that was given . I wish you and your family best of luck , it is a beautiful set up !
Agreed. I have mixed feelings about this family. It’s great they want to farm and have a “simple” life but he comes from a family that has boatloads of money so they can afford it easily. Farming is hard and it’s not something you just jump into … unless you have lots of money.
So they have too much money to be farmers? That makes no sense. If they have the ability and desire to use their resources this way then they should. This set up is not putting the small farms out of business, it’s the places that cut corners and can drive profits up by doing the bare minimum to care for their animals.
I don’t think it’s necessary to guilt people by what they’re investing in. It’s unfortunate your family and other farmers are going through that. It’s none of your business really what they buy with THEIR money, how much they’re worth, or whatever else people like you are hung up on. I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to celebrate a successful small business that gives jobs to people.
They have 8 million followers, do you know how much money that makes them? A ton. They built the farm and their community, they built this from the bottom up and you’re trying to make them feel guilty because you’re family wasn’t successful?
@@dorothyg6269 and how do you know what their finances are? How do you know they got it from his father! They’ve built their business from the ground up and they’ve documented everything on their IG account, including when their first farm didn’t do well. They’re very transparent and show a lot of the behind the scenes. Mixed feeling about what exactly? Celebrating a small business that gives people jobs? Yet I’m sure you’re still one of the millions that supports Bezos by buying through Amazon. Do you have mixed feelings about that too? Or maybe you have mixed feelings about the other things you buy.
No they are not. His father went to Brazil from Utah as a young man to do missionary work as a Mormon and stayed. Son grew up there and moved back to help run daddy's airlines early in their marriage
You have a great set up going on. Ignore all of the jealous idiots that try to tear down your achievements by trying to imply that you were " given " a financial start that you somehow didn't deserve. You both have worked hard and to build something fantastic and good for you putting life to good use and raising your family with morals. I hope you do well and send your kids off into the world with a good foundation to prosper as well.
I don’t think the average farm, and I’m talking commercial farms because you can’t compare this to a small farm since this has far surpassed small farm in literally every sense…. Anyway, I don’t think the average commercial dairy is using a $200,000 milk machine, per cow.
They were given a financial start. That’s not a lie. It doesn’t make it bad, or say they don’t still work hard, but it’s just truth. I know a lot of people struggling to build farms because they don’t have the money for more fencing or more cattle or to fix a barn etc. When you don’t have to worry about those financial things, it’s ALOT easier to build a farm business.
Complimenti per il grande lavoro che state progettando siete veramente bravi 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 vi seguo sempre volentieri un bacio grande alla vostra bella famiglia e in bocca al lupo per tutto 😘👍🏻🔝

Congratulations! That’s awesome!
Can’t wait to see the finished product!
May God your beautiful family
Hermosa familia les veo desde Nicaragua Centroamérica, gracias por compartir siempre estos videos. Bendiciones 😊
No they are not. His father went to Brazil from Utah as a young man to do missionary work as a Mormon and stayed. Son grew up there and moved back to help run daddy's airlines early in their marriage

Dzieci są PRZYSZŁOŚCIĄ NARODU i zdrowego rozsądku życzę i powodzenia.🎉
You have a great set up going on. Ignore all of the jealous idiots that try to tear down your achievements by trying to imply that you were
" given " a financial start that you somehow didn't deserve.
WOW! Thank you for doing this.
That’s a really nice barn too!!

Wow ,.that is visualy beautiful barn spacious and full of light . Also so high tech , i never heard of some of those things . I compare it in my mind with my grandads barn and cows some 50 years ago . So different but also beautiful .
But I just noticed in other comments that this cows will never go out and graze fresh grass . Is that truth ?!
This makes me want to move to Utah
What about it do you want? Mormonism?
So exciting to see the process.

Oooo, have you watched the Hoof GP? He’s in Scotland, but he’s always talking about how concrete is difficult on cows feet. He gives tips and stuff on how to make it easier on them
