The best tutorial. Thank you. Sometimes salesmen run through it too quickly, and I find your version extremely helpful, especially since I'm a senior with my new car that I love!
Honestly my favorite thing about the 19 Civics are that it seems like Honda Sensing is standard on all trim levels even if you have a manual (exception Type R (not sure about Si)). It's great for safety and convenience and definitely brings it up to competitors or past them (Mazda doesn't have iSense standard on all trims).
Great quick review. I notice that the interior has Ivory like you mentioned, yet i don't see the option for it only black. Is there something i'm missing?
@@JustinFullerReviews I just double-checked to make sure and the Sport model offers "black cloth" while the Touring offers "black leather." I don't see the ivory option which is weird! Update: The ivory option is only available for the "White Orchid" and "Polished Metal" colors.
So glad I bought the regular sport model... all the bells and whistles for the touring model just isn’t worth the extra money imo.... i told the car salesmen i wanted something simple but also nice and he did just that !
ON THE VERY TOP LEFT OF THE SCREEN IS A SMALL HIDDEN HARD POWER BUTTON, WITH A 1/2 MOON SYMBOL. PRESS IT WHILE CAR IS RUNNING. SCREEN WILL TURN ON... FIXED : )
I’m interested in the exhaust system, how hard would it be to change the exhaust tips if I wanted to? Also what is the recommended scrub radius range on the car if I wanted to put aftermarket rims on it with a lower offset?
Steven I would recommend asking a custom body shop on this. I think they could get you better answers than I can provide. Or check into a Civic Hatchback Forum. I am sure plenty of folks have changed out exhaust and wheels.
I asked my techs in the shop, and was told Honda does not give us the scrub radius. Mostly because Honda is always going to offer Honda Parts, and I know you are looking at aftermarket stuff. But they did mentioned a tire shop would probably be able to help out to find the radius.
I see the volume buttons on the steering wheel is slightly different from my 18 Hatchback ST, just wondering if it performs differently, like does it support the slide up/down function?
My dad has the 19 Type R. The volume controls don't let you slide anymore like in the 16-18 models. It's click only. Not the biggest fan of it because I liked it from driving a 17 CRV but at least you have the volume knob now, which I found myself using mostly.
@@BakaDani I see, so they're just making it less confusing, my 18 Hatchback doesn't have the slide function either, but it looks like it has. I think someone on the forum have confirmed that a 16-17 button would make that work.
tbh i think morep oeple use google maps than the built in GPS systems, they need to add a GOOGLE MAPS button to link to your phone, like the Jeep Wrangler has, its an AMAZING feature
why is honda not adding the blind spot feature instead they keep adding this stupid camera and they increased the price for the 2019 just because they gave you a button for your radio? really? very dissapointed on this update. Very good review though :)
Actually Honda is moving away from Honda lane watch. Very few of our lineup has the side camera now. You will find blind Spot monitoring replacing it in most models. They left the camera in a few of the less expensive vehicle Honda has to offer. I get a lot of previous Honda owners who love and miss that camera. So it swings both ways I suppose...

Why does popular reviews aint as good as this? very helpful, under rated
because when some channels get big they stop caring about quality content vs just content
I can't wait to get mine. Thanks for a great review!

I love how detailed this review is! I learned so much.
Just watched this review after negotiating a deal to get one! Picking it up this week, so excited! Fantastic looking car inside and out!
Michael Marks hey same!! picking up tomorrow in black!
Thank you for filming in 60fps! Much appreciated
Fascinating, the best car review i ever watch
Thanks for watching!
Have the 2017 6MT LX
Great daily driver, even in horrible NE winters
No issues what-so-ever and 38-41 MPG

Also confuses me why the Type R doesn't have Honda Sensing because European models have it
Not sure, for the price I would think it would be in there too.
This is my current dream car 30mpg!! 👀 Subwoofer standard, nice design, smoked out wheels and hatchback😎 hopefully in the next couple years 🙏
@Juan Serrano Recommended is premium for it's turbo engine
Very comprehensive overview. I like. Thanks.

It depends if you are looking at a Sport model or the Sport Touring. The Sport model only offers black interior....

Thanks for the video. Can you change miles for km?
Yes you can. Using the steering wheel controls.
Justin Fuller thanks a lot
Does the Brake Hold feature keep the brake lights lit? I didn't see/hear that mentioned.

on the right side near the fuel tank, mine pop as brake system in orange. is that normal?
Does this car have memory seats?
Does it have Apple car play?
Yes it does.
Will it fit and charge a note 9 in the wireless charging pad ?
Is the Speedometer light Red for all trim levels?
I think it's only for the sport trims

What kind of fuel do you use?
Regular unleaded will work. Or you can opt for a high octane...

It has android auto kinda the same thing if you have an android phone. Not sure about iOS phones though if you can get GMaps in apple carplay
how much is the car from where you are? I’m from Hawaii and they are selling this vehicle for 36k. Btw great video
Hey Ian, Hawaii always sets their selling price way above MSRP. Since I moved mainland dealers here sell at MSRP or lower.
Is this better than the 2019 Jetta GLi?
I would drive both and decide for yourself.
Quick review?
You didn't show under the hood otherwise solid review.
Fair enough.

Could you show the front seats better on these reviews? Thanks
Traditional blind spot monitor better than this camera which can be distracting...
Be careful. It has a 1.5T engine like the CRV.
It does, which stinks. I really want to upgrade from my Civic, but that engine is in most new Hondas and I'm not comfortable risking it.
Matt what’s wrong with this engine ?

they have a 2.0 option on the website
