She did that recipe many many years ago. I didn't like it much but I do like beer cheese soup and said I would try to change it up to create soup - never did.
If you add some cream cheese to your cheese mixture, it holds it together easier for you, won’t be as dry and has a better overall taste. We’ve also done pepperoni and mozzarella stuffed pretzels with either homemade marinara sauce, garlic butter or ranch and we’ve also done a jalapeño and cream cheese stuffed pretzel before! We love pretzels!
Cream Cheese Rules. I do a Bagel, CC, and smoked Sam. I add Everything Bagel topping INSIDE the sandwich. Anyway, I have ideas for this videos creations.
Omg these look amazing. Also laura YES you can get beer cheese soup at Kitchen 87 in Mt. Holly NJ! It's amazing. They use a local brewery and it's a porter cheddar cheese soup. You gotta go!

Purchase food grade lye off of Amazon, I can share the link of the one I use, to make authentic German pretzels and I'll promise you'll never use baking soda for pretzels again. Also, if you are interested i can send you a couple of authentic German cheese dips/spreads if you would like to try them. ❤ but I will definitely make those pretzels. They look aaaamazing 😍😍😍
Love This! Can I use a different beer, rather than a Light Lager...I have other beer in my fridge...is there a beer that you would NOT recommend for this dip? Can we make them without cheese, and make them smaller for appies?
This video has to be pure torture for those that have been told they have cancer or hypothyroid or any GI tract weakness and have been told they have to stop eating dairy products. Is there a way you could make an alternative tasting almost as good using all whole food ingredients w/o dairy ( and w/o so called"nutritional yeast" - which is highly processed and not beneficial since it is completely man made and NOT grown in Nature)?

I had leftover pizza dough so I used it and your idea to make vegan cheeze stuffed soft pretzels. This idea is fabulous! I don’t need any sauce.

Great video! Side note, I know of a restaurant in the Anchorage airport that had a beer cheese soup served with a pretzel!

This might be a dumb question, but why didn’t you just add the flower and instant yeast to the dry mixer bowl first instead of using another bowl?
