Beautiful! I was pleased to see that we will have this bike in the U.S. for 2018. Saw one at the dealer yesterday and it looks much better in person. Still think I prefer the XSR900, but this bike looks great as well.
dhunley1 I got mine the day it arrived. I dig the xsr900, but opted out for the 58mpg. I still can't believe it took nearly 3 years before it came to the US, the Euros always get the goods.
Yeah, I was surprised it took as long as it did. I'm not in the market for a new bike this year, but I think I will pick up an XSR900 next year. I'm a big guy at 6'1" 220lbs and 900 just seems like it's more up my ally. I've been riding sport bikes for the last 10+ years and I think it's time for a slight change.
I know Im randomly asking but does someone know a method to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my account password. I love any help you can give me.
@Camilo Moises thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Went to the Bike shed for my first time this Sunday love the place nice coffee and friendly staff . Love the Parking , hopefully will be coming down for a Moto gp watch some time with some friends
Thanks, glad you made it down and enjoyed the place. This year's MotoGP season will have an even better set-up. It's worth booking in advance if you want a table.
Beautiful customization just curious how much money you bought the bike for and put into it. Have a feeling by the time you fitted everything you could have just bought a better bike already kitted. I usually budget custom my bike so if/when I upgrade I wont have lost a lot of money.
That is a Sexy looking "Yammy"... Subtle but impactful changes with the kit add on the bike really make a big difference..some one will be happy with that purchase for sure. Well done.
Great video! Love the bike. Quick question. Noticed the rear indicators had disappeared. Then you spoke about them briefly at the end of the video. What have you replaced them with and where are they from?
Good evening I also installed this sc project exhaust. Have you carried out a reprogramming or changed the ecu or relegated the air-fuel ratio? Thank you in advance for your answer
I love what you did with the bike! I purchased this kit recently and I was hoping you could give me some insight on how you mounted the license plate holder underneath the rear fender? You mentioned in your blog that you "bent the mount flat and used a very thin aluminium plate, curved slightly and positioned it below." Would you happen to have any pictures of the rig or could you explain in a bit more detail on how this was accomplished? Thanks you so much Ross!
Very nice ,, never seen one of these bikes before ,, looks good and guess in the real world of getting from a to be and commuting would be good and looks cool ,, and I like SC pipes as well ,, infact. I like everything cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Apart from shorter tail and the headlight it looks the same to me. The shorter tail looks a bit better, but other then that... And where did the mirrors go? You've traded mirrors for the headlight? :D
Hi Ross, First of all a lovely bike! I just received my Yamaha together and the Super-7 kit. Could you please give me a link or some guidance for how to paint the parts? Can I paint it right away or should it have some "pre-job" like a scrub with sand-paper, etc? Best Dino
Bonjour, je suis de Belgique , je vais acheter une xsr 700 , je trouve vos modifications superbes , ça change complètement la moto. TOP Où puis trouver ces accessoires ? Merci
If your pillion is really slim... and a very close friend... or someone who you'd like to be closer to. Not sure on the pipe but they're fully EC friendly. www.sc-project.com/yamaha_xsr700_e.htm
Hi! I would like to ask , the name of lateral parts of the fuel tank, can you tell name and which material' It´s possible to show me images/ pictures about the tail. best regards
any idea how to lower the seat height by 2 inches? i dont want to mess with the suspension. one option is to get thinner seat and if necessary, some sub-frame modfication.
Hey Ross, I am currently converting my MT-07 into a Super Seven. I kind of fancy the SC Project exhaust over the Arrows exhaust that Jens mounted. Can you give me the name / number of the SC project exhaust?
Sure thing, there's a review with links and details here. thebikeshed.cc/sc-project-xsr700-exhaust/ I did like the Arrow but the SC Project is a bit tidier... although he baffle isn't removable.
Thanks Ross, I can't wait to have my built ready. I think it suits me well: kettenritzel.files.wordpress.com/2016/10/krcc_benzingespracc88ch_jvb-moto_4.jpg ;-)
@@31Ramble I've decided to go for the mt07 as I don't kind of like the headlight and plastic tank cover on the xsr and I've just put my deposit down on my Yamaha mt07 yesterday.

(unless I'm just blind) Can anyone point to a website/forum that sells aftermarket items like this in the US?thanks. Great bike btw.. i'll be getting one of those soon I reckon.
That’s the best looking and sounding xsr 700 I’ve ever seen!👍

I honestly like tbe bulkiness! It really sets a different look, a bit more urban.

Love what you've done to the bike. Great video!
Thanks, although JVB deserve the credit, I just fitted the parts. [Ross]
Very nice. I did a similar job to my XSR, except I had to scrabble around and get all the individual parts myself. Mblaze pins are beautiful!
Not for nothing, to me it looks like the perfect motorcycle for urban and commute, love it . 👍🏽
Gorgeous details wow. Can't wait to buy a couple super7 bits for my MT.

Thats how it should have looked like from the start!!!
Impossible.
beautiful bike!!!, I'll buy it next month...LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT...
Thousands of dollars in upgrades.
Didn't ride it..........
LOL
No, but half the fun is modifying, building and working on new projects. The new owner is enjoying the bike as a daily ride.
IKR .... the exhaust is about $1000 alone
I’m getting this after I sell my Tmax 530. What a beauty! 7 months later, I haven’t sold my Tmax…. Lol

I am a fan of functional front fenders. Otherwise love the headlight, fork boots, and reduced shine. That little tank pad makes a huge difference.
Beautiful beautiful motorcycle. 👍🏻
I absolutely love the stock headlight. Stop changing it please
WOW absolutely stunner bike
Been on the website and come only the the parts as solo items and not a full kit to order bulk

I'm new to biking and i don't mean to be ignorant. But what makes the JVB taller (raised) than the stock XSR? Fantastic looking bike btw.
Great video and lovely looking bike. Love the front end. Do they deceiver to the UK? And is there a link to the specific headlight shroud? Thanks
Simply stunnin!. Nuff said....

I want this light and escape
I have a question; when u do the tailtidy, is it still possible to keep the double seat?
Can I ask the total cost of all the added kit? Many thanks in advance
The front light is not mounted properly right?
looks great
No rear indicators?
The link to your build process isn't working anymore, can you guys fix that please?
Where can I get those tiny 360 indicator light?
Moto Gadget
Do they have an option to ship the kit to the United States?
I don't care if everything is in German, I will translate it all for this kit!
Blacking out that reservoir would be a good idea and just leave it be🙂
Where are the indicators on this bike?
So nice.
How would someone in the states go about buy this kit? I tried ordering some but it wont allow USA to be a shipping location
Lovely. Rough ballpark for kit price?
Around £2k in parts. (not inc Suspension and exhaust).
Nearly.... www.kedo.com/products/JVB0037.html €1800 for the full kit. I didn't fit the speedo or risers which saves a bit [Ross]
Thanks both
Nice bike
Does it fit only 2018 model or all models Yamaha xsr700??
How much did this baby sell for?
donde consigo ese faro porfavor
'Just a bit better then the stock one' are you kidding mate?! hahaha, build me one!
I bet that sold quickly.
The exhaust: was it just the end can?
I have subscribed.
I’ve been trying to find that sc project exhaust for the xsr700 but I can’t find it here in the U.S.?
Jacob Giraldo The Vintage Spoke sells some of KEDO's (JvB's manufacturer representative) stuff. I'd check with them.
Beautiful
Did you flash the ECU after installing the exhaust? If so what flash kit did you use?
I'm running Arrows headers, custom midsection and a fake Akra can,K+N, and a 3D printed airbox lid, perfect fueling, no flash needed!
Is there a kit for the 900?
Excelente esa moto quedó muy mejorada y con un aspecto más agresivo
where could I find the kits dude???

The SC-Project in this version is no Euro4 exhaust ... so guys be careful .... not street legal in europe
It's unusual to get in trouble for non-compliant end-cans in the UK, unless they are insanely loud.
