Joy Wilson it’s great I remember in one episode of podiots when they just had a meltdown at Peter because he just had casual knowledge on just about everything ever
We had Hugo on TV here in sweden. You called into a childrens show and could win cool swag if you beat a highscore in Hugo using your own landline phone. It was a good time.
I had a game on the Commodore Amiga called Hugo: Skaermtrolden. I apologise if my spelling is wrong. I'm not sure what it means. The whole game was in Swedish, I think.
I remember Hugo the Troll. I used to watch him as a child and it was shown on TnaG (now TG4) in the middle of the 90s and 2000s. He is known as Hiúdaí in my home country Ireland 🇮🇪.
I was literally talking about Hugo this week!!! I loved the tv show when I was a child. You had to phone to a certain number during the day to get the chance to participate in the live show. The participants would play the game through the dial numbers on the phone (don't ask me how that worked) amd if you were good enough in the game you could face the evil witch and save Hugo's wife and children. What I really liked about the show - apart from the game - was that Hugo would always talk to the player and comment on his or her player skills. That was funny.
The way phones work is that each number is a different tone and that is used to decode what number it is so i'd imagine they just map those to controls. It doesn't sound as awful as i thought it would be.
Yep, it was exaclty the same here in Brazil. Also, given your description, seems to be the same game used here, with the evil witch as a villain. I think thats probably from the Amiga game. But worth to note, it was pretty much impossible to participate on that game, unless you'd be really wishing to spend a fortune on phone bil at that time waiting on the line. All and all, it was considered to be just one more scam TV show, albeit a really curious one for gamers alike.
As a Dane, I can comfirm that Hugo was everywhere in my childhood. I've played quite a few of his games. It was good fun. But then i was like 9, so I didn't know any better xD

Well this is a blast from the past. I remember watching him every morning as kids all over Denmark tried to help him defeat Afskylia. Also never really liked him as he had the same name as Jungledyret.
1) I request one day you play the Supergran game for the Spectrum 2) I request that you again hit Tiny Peter with a car That is all....Dave Benson Phillips sends his love....
Great video guys. Many thanks for the unplanned "Shout out" to Aldershot. I was born and raised there and lived to tell the tale. You should do more Sunday Fundays and Piece of Cakes. Play Vampire Rain it's bloody awful. 👍😄
The screen jumping effect happened to me when I was younger. I think it had something to do with the tv you were using because my PS2 worked fine on other TV's but with the main one, the screen always bounced
Damn, it even has a danish language option to pick. In Denmark, a morning show used to have a hugo game segment, where kids would call in and control Hugo by the phone buttons (Like left, right, duck down). It was very wholesome indeed.
I was pretty much brought up by Percy the Park Keeper and I think we should all strive to be more like Percy everyday. He had such a kindness about him, always did what was right, I wish he was my dad. Never understood why he didn’t have a nice park-keeper wife, if anyone deserved it, Percy was the guy. Hard working was Percy, through cold and wet he always did his job and all of the animals loved him.
I remember you used to be able to play Hugo on the Israeli children's channel when I was a kid. You'd call into the show and press your phone numbers to play and try to win a prize.
Thank you for the history behind Billy Ray Walrus! I'm not sure how I made it through damn near every one of your vids on Vidiots without finding out the history, but I apparently missed it somewhere. The more you know! lol
Can anyone else remember Hugo being on a Saturday morning tv show in the UK in the early 90s and you had to call in to play it and win prizes or am I having an acid flashback from too many panda pops and Cadbury Dream bars?
Dude the same show was on air over 40 countries, I mean every country had his own show of Hugo where you call, here in Argentina a host of the show just admited that there was a guy that made Hugo move when the pressing of the button was heard on the call, thats why it was soo crappy at least here
Without wishing to be too demanding, you snorking jinkles, could you guys bring back the stats boards with the fun facts please? They were boot scootin’ly rootin’ tootin’ly good. Also, Wickes.
Hugo is also the protagonist of a TV kid game pretty popular here in Argentina, kids would call the show and play using the numbers on their phones. Better late than never
I don't think I've laughed this hard at something unscripted in a long time. I just discovered this channel and I definitely need to watch the rest of this series (and apparently the previous channel's version as well).
Hugo used to have a phone in video game show in Ireland wherehe ran uo a cliff and you had to shout jump, left or right in Irish, It was very frustrating to watch because it seemed so easy but there was clearly some time delay on the tv which made it impossible
I saw Hugo in the thumbnail and saw Worst Gamer Ever. My immediate thought was "How dare you" then i saw Agent Hugo and it made sense. Had you done a WGE on the original hugo games i would've...... been really pissed
In the UK we had a Hugo game that you could play on live childrens TV by phoning up a premium rate number and joining a ridiculous queue before playing an unplayably laggy and incredibly difficult rail runner sort of game controlled by using the numbers on your phone. If I recall there are videos on here of the unfathomable abomination available for your viewing pleasure. As a kid I thought my parents were cruel, unloving tyrants for never letting me call in but as an adult I realised that it would have cost us a couple of months rent.
As someone who's first games were some Hugo children's teaching games (like Forces of Nature) for PC, I find it weird as fuck that there's people out there who don't know who Hugo is?? EDIT: This whole video is a weird ass nostalgia trip for me. When my sisters and I finally got a PS2 around like 2009, Hugo Bukkazoom was the first game we got for it. I also got this Agent Hugo game for my birthday one year. I'm going to cry.
Is he getting his orders from a Madeline Albright reference? That's not James Bond so that's odd, but par for the course with this game. Also, he looks like Geoffrey Giraffe from Toys R Us!
_Boo-woop_ Worst Games Ever is the best series ever. I suppose you could call it a brilliant and whitty program for UA-cam. #BrilliantAndWhittyProgramForUA-cam
man i thought the brits missed the hugo bomb altogether, he was in loads of weird things in ireland and completely shite in every single one of them, he is a bit like muzzy featuring in lots of european languages and was dubbed into irish (gaeilge) for TG4's after school programming. Omg it was so embarrassingly bad... despite there being other great stuff like spongebob as gaeilge.
Tiny Peter and his knowledge of obscure 90's Children's tv never fails to amaze me.
Joy Wilson it’s great I remember in one episode of podiots when they just had a meltdown at Peter because he just had casual knowledge on just about everything ever
Let's Go What C... Name Redac... Vidi... Doub... Triple Jump. Ben and Peter!
If only we had somekind of person to call about rules and such to ask wich it is....oh well.
Hello rules boss?
I think since the boys are now Triple Jump, that we, the viewing audience, should call ourselves Vidiots
Naaah Tridiots mate
Like when Ross went from being the Sexual Wank Pheasant to now us being the Sexual Wank Pheasants.
@@swinehouse Exactly! This fellow chap gets it!
Pretty sure they're still doing stuff on vidiots though. I think they said podiots and the streams will continue.

Same in Poland.
We had the same kind of show in Slovakia, but with Crash Bandicoot instead of Hugo :)
@@saminosamuel7113 that sounds awesome
There was a bugs bunny crazy castle style one i used to play at the gameboy as a kid never knew Hugo was famous
Please bring back some sort of character profile for the master and victim, they always got a chuckle out of everyone
And the character 'animations' of our beautiful boys
Webb_Weegie agreed and commented the same, albeit in a stupidly peppy and facetious manner.
I remember Hugo the Troll. I used to watch him as a child and it was shown on TnaG (now TG4) in the middle of the 90s and 2000s. He is known as Hiúdaí in my home country Ireland 🇮🇪.

Peters references to shows from the last 80's is perfect, this isn't the first time he's harked back to an abstract cartoon intro. Keep it up
“They’re so bad, my name’s Peter”😂
16:22 Definite hit of that Like button from that reaction!! 🤣
Never expected to see an Agent Hugo video in 2019 lol
What a way to end the weekend love the work boys
Loved how Ben had to consciously stop himself from saying "Why does Scandinavia have to... screw with us."
6:00 beyond good and evil looks slightly different than I remembered
Anyone else find it weird they're not wearing the shirts?
To be honest my attention was taken up with 'bootscoots'
Yes, I’ve been wondering about the shirts too.

that there is a danish legend my friends..

Damn, it even has a danish language option to pick. In Denmark, a morning show used to have a hugo game segment, where kids would call in and control Hugo by the phone buttons (Like left, right, duck down). It was very wholesome indeed.
Oh, Tiny Peeper explained that in the video as well. I should have watched it first. :P What a banger of an episode. It looks depressingly bad.
I was pretty much brought up by Percy the Park Keeper and I think we should all strive to be more like Percy everyday. That's bc the gag started back when they were in What Culture, for like the 5 episodes they had there.
I had this game as a kid and honestly I blame it for everything that went wrong with me after
All those murders...
I still do the original intro in my head 😂
Richard Mushet the whatculture one? Or the Vidiots one?
Will Douglas You mean name redacted right? What is this whatculture you speak of?
Oh dear...
Had pretty much the same face as they did when they found out about the black costume...
I'm surprised nobody made a fuss about that...or even knew this game existed.
Can anyone else remember Hugo being on a Saturday morning tv show in the UK in the early 90s and you had to call in to play it and win prizes or am I having an acid flashback from too many panda pops and Cadbury Dream bars?

The looks on your faces when the unedited unnecessarily loud sound played 🤣
yo when he turns into the black troll he runs faster. that is so wrong but funny asf
How is it "wrong"

you guys seem back on form now! loving it! ❤️❤️❤️
15:25 So Hugo the troll is Danish? I know another Hugo from that country in an animated movie franchise called "Jungledyret".
Fabulous to have you fine fellows (and friends) back with us so soon!

Gods this looks like a poor man Beyond Good And Evil.
Was Hugo on Live & Kicking or something where people rang in to play or something...?
Is it just me, or did Hugo's disco outfit also have a gold tooth?
Because if so; woooooooow...
Oh yes! There is certainly a gold tooth on the disco outfit.
Snork is the new Jinkles?
They weren't able to play sneak king on vidiots but at least they can watch agent hugo sneak around.
I fucking love these videos!! First whatculture then visions and now triple jump!!! Keep these up lids
I lost it at "reee", well worth disturbing my housemates
I faintly remember playing Hugo games as a kid
Could you please play Aquaman!!?!!!??!!! Please!!!! You guys are awesome too. Say hi to Billy for me. Thanks guys for all the laughs.
HEY! It may be the worst game ever, but it's our FAVORITE worst game ever!
(seriously I played this all the damn time as a kid)
This was by far my favourite worst games for a while.
can't believe Aldershot actually got mentioned haha
4:12 where TF is Polish?! I remember playing this game as a child and it definitely had a Polish version. Was it a PC-only thing?

How many days do you wait to put the streams on youtube? The joint stream was on Thursday and it is now Sunday.
Are the Cultaholic boys Hugo fans? Their logo looks very similar to the cover!
Huh. I live in Aldershot.. weird
Billy Ray Cyrus has the face of a skyrim npc. Bless him heart.
So if you have UA-cam premium, does that mean they get no money from you watching? Should I log out of premium when I watch the channel?
