Weird, I just yesterday ordered that same ALM case! It's seems like it'll be such a nice compact setup, and I can't wait to get some modules into it. Great videos lately mate! Case setup looks fun!
Yeah! I love this compact case train that’s happening! I’ve been finding mine so fun. Albeit, I don’t have a monster case at all, the small case is the case. Looking forward to see if you share your adventures with that!
using midi note trains as clock sources is so underrated, honestly - you can really easily do that "dropped note" shifting of patterns that way by just... muting a step, and then things will start to rotate.
Love seeing your workflow with this and that given a percussion focussed case it’s so different than I’d approach it. I love that about eurorack. Very cool idea sending irregular clocks to Zularic. It definitely invites you to get as funky as you want with it, how it’s set up. Even though it’s essentially a bunch of tables, I’d really like to mess with one at some point. Especially when you’re just looking to be in the middle of music instead of thinking too deeply of the beats. I like your ideal setup being something that can fit in a backpack. Feel like that’s really where those little ALM cases shine. My 4u definitely doesn’t fit in a backpack, 104 is quite sticky outy. Anyway, appreciate your videos and thoughts. I’ll look out for the next one.
Yeah sending the zularic irregular clock and cv modulating the offset parameters really open up the module to a high variety of patterns outside of the preset tables!
cant believe i stumbled upon this recent of an upload. excited to hear more about the setup. i just recently bought a digitakt and excited to use it with my eurorack
nice little setup. Looking forward to your take on the SSF drum modules. I was keeping an eye on them for quite some time, but I was worried that they are more geared for techno/harder sounds. Your groove sounds smooth, though. Well done.
Thanks! It's an Ultrabook that folds in half. Samsung Galaxy Book 3. I think I'll make a little video on it as I've been asked this a few times from these videos.
everytime i wanted to build a modular drum thing i got stuck on the i/o and sequencing bit. the thing you built has only a master out not an out per track. maybe ive just been overthinking it, it sounds good for sure.
For this combo of gear it works, but also if I want to process one voice differently I can just go straight out of the module itself, or mult it to do parallel processing.
@@SoundsMick Too bad, I love the percussive sounds that you created with these modules, but I 100% understand that some videos get scrapped. Happened to me more than once.
now that the digitakt 2 came out i guess its not a good time to trade but if you dont need the digitakt overdrive / filter you could trade it for like a digitone. same form factor, enough sequencing and you have your melody machine.
That is probably a good shout! Tho I'm using all 8 midi tracks of the digitakt right now, I can't quite rely on the 404 for sequencing, it's just not as easy as the DT.

Thanks Pat! Appreciate it. Yeah I just love the size of case, it feels restrictive but creatively so.

I just found your channel. Great expirations and demos. Thanks
@@omnidivergence9846 oh cool glad you like it!
Damn smart setup. Keep up the great work

Really nice video thank you. Also, the album is really inspiring, I Just bought it on tape from Bandcamp. Please keep up the good work.
oh that's so kind! Thanks for ordering my album
I really love the fluttering/looping effect from Awakening. Just a lovely album altogether
@@lofido_music really nice to hear, thank you

Ah cool! Digitakt is a classic am sure you'll love it.

Thanks! The SSF modules I think sound great, very complex sounding for analogue drum circuits. Rich sound
That just sounds incredible. Beautiful sounds coming out of that box!
Thanks mate!
Good stuff, nice thoughtful setup 👏
Glad to hear someone say Digitact rather than Diggytact. Your videos are very inspiring. Ta
counterpoint; Elektron IS a swedish company, and they would pronounce digital as "diggytorl", more or less.
It’s English. One g. Not diggy
Great explanation! Which touch screen are you using for Ableton?

What is the stand you have the ALM case on? Thanks
It is one of these modular instrument stands loci.life
Was that Signal Sounds video ever released? I can't find it on their channel, but I'm super interested.
@@cursortoxyz oh, no I’m afraid. I made one but I found it to be not worth putting out, just wasn’t useful or informative haha so I scrapped it

has the 2nd video you mentioned appeared anywhere yet? Could you link if so?
I wasn't happy with the video so I decided against it :( I shouldn't have mentioned it in this video haha
