Such a magically beautiful area...but that bridge would be my downfall. Those mountain and sky view are something else...marvelous! Wow, can sure see the wind picking up...and then calm again! Great adventure! Bruce and Otis
Hey Bruce, thanks again for watching and commenting, I’m sure you’d manage the bridge just fine, Otis just paddles through the river, was a magnificent day but nothing compared to my latest adventure in a part of Scotland I’ve never seen before….I have been missing so much. Take care, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
Thanks Steven, brilliant video, loved the clear but moody skies, well done with the walk. Did Beinn Challum on Sunday, great clear condtions, snow was solid so made it more easy going than the condition in summer, its a bog monster, tapadh leibh a charaid, Alba Gu Brath, Angus
Aye I did Ben Challum in the snow as well mate, wasn’t expecting it but hit it around the 900m mark, strictly crampons from that point, met 5 lads from Glasgow as I was descending in shorts and trainers looking like Bambi on ice 😂😂 Fair do’s to them they carried on 😂😂 Gotta love Scotland 🏴 🏴 Alba Gu Brath 🥰
Nice wee video again Steven! This is a tough old walk and you had some spicy weather! great to see your mates out catching the bug! inspirational...Would have liked to see you diving into the falls at the end!!!! Paulo
Cheers Paul, that’s second time I’ve done it, wish I’d remembered how tough it was I’d have taken them to Chonzie instead 😂😂 Aye they seem to be enjoying themselves, long may it continue 😊 Dive in!! I didn’t even have the energy to fall in 🙈😂😂 Take care mate, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
Hi Steven. Wonderful wonderful video again, such stunning views. That wind that ‘wasn’t forecast sounded brutal. It’s safe to say you were out through the ‘Ringer’ of Steall. 🤣🤣 It’s amazing now how wrong there are with the weather. We were out on Saturday and it was supposed to rain most of the day, we got one ten minute shower. I’m back out this Sunday, so,looking forward to that. Take car mate, all the best Dave 😀🥾⛰🏴🏴
Hi Dave, thanks again for that, not had a chance to watch your video yet, been pretty busy and the WiFi and phone signal are practically non existent up here in Applecross. Was over in Torridon Tuesday (Liathach) with a cheeky wee Corbett today and hopefully Beinn Alligin on Friday before moving on. Ring of Steall was a brutal day as I’m sure you guessed 🙈😂😂 very rewarding tho. Have a great day on Sunday, I’ll be in Fort William by then, take care mate, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
@@outofayrshire143 Mate I’m so jealous. I wish I lived up in Scotland. I really do. I really want to get back up to Assynt. I love it up there. 😃🏴❤️

As ever Steven amazing video. Gutted I couldn't make it that day. Looked amazing. Definitely on my bucket list. Looking forward to your next video. Take care Alan
Cheers Alan, was a long tough day but very rewarding, hopefully you can get out with us another time (Ballachulish 13th next outing with the lads if any good to you) take care mate, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
Cheers Scott, was a tough day as you could see, aye as you say it’s good to see both of them so enthusiastic, next outing on the 13th at Ballachulish. I’m up in Applecross just now getting pished upon😂😂 Take care mate 😊👍🏴🏴
Alright mate. 3 of us are thinking about doing the 'ring of steall' hike next week. Is there any advice you could share with us regarding how much time to allow for this walk and any other advice you think we might need. It would be much appreciated. All the best and thanks for sharing this video.
Hi mate, hope you’re well. I guess it’s all relative, everyone has different fitness levels….i like to think I’m fit enough but not the quickest or slowest for that matter. It’s a tough old day for sure, but no actual hardships along the route, some minor scrambling and the devils ridge is straightforward enough. Best advice I can give is if you’re taking 2 cars park one at lower falls car park, if not I’d advise starting from there, it’s a mile and a half onto the front end but rather that than at the end when you’re knackered. Hopefully you’ll get a good day for it….enjoy Steven 😊⛰️🥾🏴🏴
Hi Steven, been on your channel a while now, you must have some patience having to set up camera back track to get it etc. Anyway just like to say one of my mates and myself are both bus driver’s also and love doing Munros, must be a switch off for us😂😂
Hi James, I guess we all need something in life to escape the everyday humdrum, ours just happens to be mountains. Where about do you drive. Take care, Steven 😊👍🏴🏴
@@outofayrshire143 hi Steven drove Firstbus out of Dumbarton for over 10 years, in and out of Glasgow 2-3times daily🙈. Still driving buses now but for the local authority. I take it your Stagecoach Stevenston area as a wild guess🤔
