I think we will figure out warp technology before the reason why terran decided to fortify it's main with 2 PLANETARY FORTRESSES. The worst part is that it actually did something when the banes came out of the nydus.
You need to understand that, there is something called the apm tradeoff, the mass spore crawler is not stupid if you are low apm player, because that way it will save a lot of apm, same for the planetary fortress

I think those spores are the reason he *is* platinum league. At that level I figure all protoss and terran just do mass BC / Void, so running into 10+ spores confuses them and they fall apart because that's the only thing they know to do and they can't actually do any damage (if they did know anything else, they'd be masters).
Don't forget to be nice though lowko! Maybe one of their friends is like "hey dude I saw you in a lowko video!" or someone on the ladder asks "hey are you THAT Kamellot that was in one of Lowko's videos versus florencio?" and then they go and watch it and maybe even watch starcraft for the first time but then realize they got made fun of. They might think it's hilarious as well but they could also not be secure about it and maybe that leads them to be less experimental or quit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just throwing that out there .
