In times of war, we're all told as soldiers that we are fighting for something greater than ourselves our national pride, people our families, etc. And we are told that the end of the conflict will bring peace. However, it only sows the seeds of future conflict as War carries on, its less about ideals and more about survival.

Suppose when you can live for hundreds if not thousands of years, your outlook on life would be different. I'd assume that Eldar was at least a millenium or more old, the things youd see and encounter in life would change your whole attitude, and he probably thought it was simply his time to go

You missed the part where those twins, one is dead and their soul fused to the knight. The living one is then less a pilot and more an emotional anchor to stop the dead soul from going insane.
I loved the verbal exchange between the fire warrior and the exodite. The writing of this series is superb and beautifully displays the massive gulf in terms of philosophy between the Tau and the Aeldari. The animation, especially the facial animations are great.
Someone needs to lead a Tyranid hive fleet in the direction of the Tau empire their attempts to establish diplomatic relationships with the Tyranids would be hilarious maybe "the greater good" would actually enjoy becoming part of Tyranid biomass ....
They already encountered the Tyranids and it ended with the deployment of biological WMDs that took out enough of Hivefleet Gotham to force it to back off the Eastern Fringe.
I think one of the Caiphus Cain books implies that, that might happen plus pretty sure the Tau and Tyranids have met cause i remember about Commander Farsight (i think that was his name) buying a planets Earth Caste enough time to make a poison which a Tyranid fleet ingested resulting in its death
They ran into a splinter fleet that 'happened' to spec into having less synapse creatures allowing the tau to oh so swiftly eradicate their command structure. I dont think its ever mentioned how they dealt with the fuck off space swarm.
The death jester that the commander encountered at commoragh may be the same guy she tried to captured. The harlequin did gave the ranger the death jester mask for his journey has not ended yet. This is just my speculation, maybe, The commander is taken for a tour guide as guest. How the commander handles will determine her fate.
that ending gave me absolute chils; i admire both the Eldar and Tau philosophies in this episode because my emotional side sids with the Tau and the logical side sides with the Eldar. they both forgot that truth is different for all sides.
It's mind blowing how long it took for Warhammer to catch on outside of the game itself. I was really worried when I first learned of the shows, because I was fearful that the Grim Dark might get toned down to get a more family friendly nature which would NOT be z hammer to me. It's pretty exciting to see that they've been giving it a good go

I ask because I play Tyranids and Chaos daemons and I have been doing work on a Chaos Beastmen army (I just found out that kill team has said that they have some 40k Beastmen coming out really soon!) I'm also working on my Word bearers army for 30k, but back in the olden golden times I purchased a metal Steel legion squad that I planning on making chaos cultist a decade or two ago but it never came to fruition. The beginning was tense after the death riders were handled, the shas Frey was standing there like unsure of their mission, but in the end she would fly off to the next beacon by herself.
Seems like the Tau aren’t tenacious enough for the 40K universe but force themselves to go into battle for the greater good which is admirable in a way

Blamed for a war they didn't start, their home world orbitally bombarded by the Imperium of Man, a planet worth of Tau dead, squad wiped without ever putting up a fight, (GG to that numb nut who was beaten to death by already wounded Krieg) failed to take down even one Imperial class Titan, forced to flee when the Eldar Titans show up, failed to kill or even wound the Exodite. This show made the Tau look like complete joke of as a species. OH - and hope the commander enjoys her stay in the Drukhari home world, no way she makes it out. At best the arena. At worst? Oh ho ho - she's in for a bad time if a particularly horny Drukahari wants to snu snu an avatar.
It's pretty awesome to see the scope of Warhammer on people that you'd never expect would. But I'd imagine that most people would be surprised that people who've had a very serious addiction and drug use in general could be so into 40k, so I shouldn't be surprised that someone with a very different past of Military/Law enforcement. I feel the eldar come of as assholes. They prety much killed the ambassadors to screw over the Tau, because the Eldar failed and they just hate to see the Tau potentially succeed. They keep others down and play high and mighty. Because if the cycle is inescapable they didn't had to interfere. Unless they have doubt, so they try to make it inescapable (to feel supperior I guess)

its to make the technical limitations less noticable, GWs is lazy and cheap Iron within was darker than the last episode of game of thrones for the same reason.
@@btf1287 Tends to hide blurry textures, wonky rigging, weird animations or poor lighting in general. Astartes did that, but it was a passion project from one dude and no dialogue and it hid the limitations cleverly, the stiff movements showed a purposefulness to the Marines movements, you never saw a face moving as the camera was always postioned in a way to hide animating it (ie the marine vomiting didnt show the mouth in the frame of the camera) and it worked in the projects favour, theres no excuse really for iron warriors, a GW backed animation, everything thing feels like the characters fighting underwater......

After the Exodite's rantings of his world burning, after finally reclaiming the world from the Imperium and the T'au, a bunch of black pylons start popping up, strange pyramid looking structures start appearing, the Aeldari and all creatures with souls start feeling weaker. It turned out, the world that they claimed belonged to them was actually a Tomb World belonging to sleeping Necrons who are now waking up angry.

Maybe because neither were actual Humans themselves, but seeing the Aeldari Exodite and said conflict end with going to Commuragh just all felt annoying to me. I didn’t know what to expect, but this episode was not pleasing to me.
@@Counterpoints I would have actually liked it had the episode teased that vain hope of peace, before war actually broke out. Some human and alien interaction that wasn’t all bad. Tense, suspicious, and likely would end poorly as things do in WH40k, but if so it was with actual effort, and thwarted by active hands. If anything, the only reason the Exodite should have done anything was because neither Imperium nor Tau Empire realized the planet they were on was already inhabited. Then the Exoditez would have gotten away with their Ghost Titans. That may not be the better alternative, but it is my alternative. This just felt like the world’s longest power point presentation by a disgruntled space elf hippie, who’s mad that there are kids playing war on their lawn, then sending one of them to the crack den behind his house, before joining a cult of space Jokers.

A good series tbf, but personally, not a big fan of the Aeldari and T'au perspectives in the Warhammer universe (at least for now).

Maybe because neither were actual Humans themselves, but seeing the Aeldari Exodite and said conflict end with going to Commuragh just all felt annoying to me. I didn’t know what to expect, but this episode was not pleasing to me.
They tried to shove way too many cool things into the episode instead of developing the assets and plot points they had.
@@Counterpoints I would have actually liked it had the episode teased that vain hope of peace, before war actually broke out. Some human and alien interaction that wasn’t all bad. Tense, suspicious, and likely would end poorly as things do in WH40k, but if so it was with actual effort, and thwarted by active hands. If anything, the only reason the Exodite should have done anything was because neither Imperium nor Tau Empire realized the planet they were on was already inhabited. Then the Exoditez would have gotten away with their Ghost Titans. That may not be the better alternative, but it is my alternative. This just felt like the world’s longest power point presentation by a disgruntled space elf hippie, who’s mad that there are kids playing war on their lawn, then sending one of them to the crack den behind his house, before joining a cult of space Jokers.
